CLOSED! This was our favorite local spot to grab some tasty pizza and a beer before the Ducks game, but a recent visit found the place dark and locked up. A blurb in the OC Register (10÷7÷14) mentioned that Zito’s had failed to negotiate a new lease with the building owner — too bad, we’ll really miss this place. At least I’m close to the Anaheim Hills location, but half the fun of this location was the pre-​game vibe of a Ducks game.

This place is fantastic. The service is always great. It isn’t always the fastest, but the servers are amazing and you can’t expect lightening quick service when a place is jam packed. The prices are very reasonable, especially the beer. The food is fantastic and I wouldn’t go anywhere else before a ducks game. 100% solid every time I have ever been here. Thank you zitos for the years of this top notch establishment!

Meatballs, caesar salad, beers. All excellent before going to Angel Stadium. Get loaded here. Much better food and great price too.

In the 3 years I have come here I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED!!! Great beer, insane pizza, patio… they just got it all. I come from 40 miles away to eat here at every available opportunity. So bomb!!!

I ordered the Tomato Basil Angel Hair and it was the worst pasta I’ve ever had in my life! Even microwave pasta is better. This dish tasted nothing like it should. There were pockets of garlic salt everywhere and the pasta was extremely over cooked. What a disappointment.

Very very very good pizza, I have the BBQ pizza and it is so good. Man this is good! I’m going to eat more :-)
I highly recommend that you get some, I’ll be back for another.

We loved this place! Was our first time & we will def be back! Came for a early dinner before the Angels game. Place was PACKED but we luckily got the last available table. Ordered pizza, pasta, salad & garlic knots. All of it was so good!!! No complaints at all. Nice clean place. Patio seating available. Lots of big screen TV’s. And we were able to just walk into the stadium from the parking lot. Super easy. Much easier than going into the stadium to park!

I have been to several locations for Zito’s. This is by far their worse location. The pizza is not as good. Nor is the location very clean. All the places around it were full and after eating here I can see why they were empty. Go to Hooters or Rubios next door.

Certain things in life confuse me. As in how you can grow up in SoCal and become a die hard fan of the Orange County Angels of Anaheim. Still, I’m going to accept the fact that some things aren’t meant to be understood and move on. One thing I am sure of is that you Angels fans really enjoy this pizza chain in Orange County.

) Whereas, the bar & grill has one location in Tustin, the New York style pizza joint has five locations within close proximity (3 in Orange, 1 in Anaheim Hills, & 1 in Anaheim). Came here to coat my stomach prior to the Angels and Dodgers Freeway Series. Since, it’s within walking distance of the Big A, we arrived before the rush hour crowd and knew we made the right choice. This place sure got packed in a hurry.
ZITO’S SPECIAL
I promise you, there’s no relation between this thick crust pizza and Barry Zito’s terrible baseball career, after his tenure with the Oakland A’s. I ordered it just to be amused and after one bite, realized that the pie was in my face. Homemade pizza sauce, an abundant amount of — pepperoni, ham, mild Italian sausage, bacon, olive, mushroom, onion, green pepper, and mozzarella cheese.
This is one tasty pizza. Meaty, with the flavor of bacon and sausage overpowering each humongous bite. I highly recommend dining in and abusing this bad boy when it’s fresh out of the oven. I’m just not confident that it’ll taste as good when it’s taken home or delivered.
Add a few pitchers of draft beer or a bottle of wine with your friends and you’re going to have a great time before your event. Take a shot at their online menu, cause there’s quite a bit to choose from, other than just specialty or create your own pizzas — sides, cold sandwiches, salads, hot subs, pasta, and calzones.
THURSDAY, GAME 4
My cousin, Hyun Jin Ryu and his Dodger teammates destroy C.J. Wilson and the Angels — 7 to ZILCH on 8÷7÷14. It’s a Whole New Blue!

I come here for the lunch special. You get a drink, a salad, and a large slice of pizza for about $ 7.50 after tax. The pizza has a nice crunch to it, and if you tell them to make your slice «well done» they’ll bake it a little longer for a crispier crust. They also have several TV’s to watch while your enjoy your slice.

Only giving it a star to be able to write a review! I really wanted to love this place. I got there placed my order then noticed on my receipt that they had it wrong. They fixed it. 20 min lAter finally got my order, just to find that it was wrong!!!
Had to wait for another 10 min for them to get it right. Finally got home to the worst food ever!!! The pizza was not cooked right. I ordered chili cheese fries not onions with chili cheese. The potato wedges were so dry and not good at all. Worst service ever will not ever come back here. No apology no nothing! They suck!

Really disappointed these location has bad service I originally go to the one in Tustin st
They have great service in that location I stop by these location before I when’t to see the angels game I arrived 30 minutes before ball game with was around 12 we had order wings and large pizza wings got them on time which were really great we’ll cook and flavor that’s why I gave them 2 stars our pizza was never made we wait it over 50 minutes until we decided to ask employe about our order I believe it was never made I got really upset because I noticed that everybody who had order after me were getting there orders on top of that I was already late for the game I didn’t got to eat and got late for the game
These place sucks no professional management they refund my money management didn’t bother look if he care about the situation and no they were not busy at all

Pizza is delicious and never disappoints us! It is always fresh and right out of the oven. The wait time is a little longer than we would like, but nothing unbearable or unreasonable.
There are plenty of TVs, making it a great place to grab a beer.

There was a common theme going on with my friends and I at Zito’s. «Hey guys how was the pizza!?» «ALL GONE» Hey bro, how was your meatball sub. «GONE» No left overs here.
Great location to pre-​game before a sporting event, great beer selection, extensive menu with pizza, subs, salads, wings etc. My buddy and I had the meat lovers. Pizza was cheesy, you go to grab a slice and that slice does not want to come off the rest of the pie. That’s a good sign! Crust is soft in the middle and crispy on the edges or as I like to call it «perfect» My buddy’s meatball sub was a basically a pizza with meat balls!
If you’re in the area before a game I say avoid hooters and come here. Better beer selection and better food!

I was very disappointed in this place. The pizza was ok, the staff sucked, seating was ok, and price was high.
So this was like a 7 Eleven pizza but for a much higher price tag. Hell for that matter service at 7 Eleven is better!
Upon walking in I wasn’t greeted, in fact the staff all walked away from the front like nobody wanted to work that day. Once I figured out the pizza options (being it was the best value on their overpriced menu) I ordered. I had to ask for my drink cups for the self serve soda fountain after I paid.
The pizza finally arrived at my table in what felt like hours later. It was a over an hour from the time the receipt order was placed. Yep it took that long I almost went to the counter to find out if they also forgot my pizza. Sadly we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time.
The pizza was hot, a bit cheesy, and barely cut (the dough/​crust). I know the difference between pizza melting back together and uncut. I had to go find a knife to cut it with. Oh and I love the 99 cent store paper plates they provided.
SO yeah this place sucked! It was sad!
Food: Over priced and nearly cardboard (I really should have asked for a refund!)
Staff: Once you find some they are about as helpful as… well as helpful as an invisible man.
Seating: meh… ok
I wont be coming back, and I’ll make sure my friends go to Hooters across the parking lot instead (same price, more food, better tasting).

We had a pizza delivered from there this evening. My girlfriend liked it. I only had one piece. That’s a first for me. I’ve never had just one piece of pizza. Wasn’t horrible just didn’t do it for me.
They’re delivery was very fast.
The bottled coke was good. Guess you can’t really mess that up ;-)

Big cheap beers before a Rise Against show at the Honda Center… that’s why Im here.

Sidenote. I got punched in the chest by a chick in the mosh pit at the show. and I think I liked it.

I would lie if I said I didn’t love their pizza but customer service and management is a different story and why I give it this rating. Their manager Ernie is one of the rudest most unprofessional people I’ve ever experienced. My pizza was delivered and my order was wrong, cold and 45 minutes late. I called in to let them know. Ernie told me to «relax» and said we’ll I didn’t charge you for it anyway. He was talking about the three ranch I ordered. I told him that wasn’t the point and wanted a refund and to come get the pizza. He said «what do you want me to kill my driver» I was baffled by this and just said to come get the pizza and give me a receipt that my card had been credited. They never showed and my card was not refunded. Long time customer but can honestly say not going back. Thank god for Piology in Fullerton.
