This McDonald’s was disappointing. I came in to try the McKinley Mac for lunch. The service was quick at the counter however I have never tasted such a flat, flavorless burger like the one I just had. The only ingredient that could even make it tolerable was the thousand island dressing. Fries were not hot. I gave it two stars only because of the quick service. $ 8.00 down the drain. I’m not coming back to this location.

Hands down the best run & friendliest McDs in Anchorage! Over the years we have visited dozens of McDs locally, nationally, even internationally and this one is by far the best. Clean, super friendly & competent satff, and lighting fast service. This McDonald’s rocks!

I’ve never ordered from the drive-through at this location, but I’ve had good sucess with ordering inside at the counter. They don’t let indigents hang around and the store is always clean and tidy. The staff are generally quite young, but they’ve always been polite. This isn’t a ghetto McDonald’s by any means, even though it’s in Midtown. We get good, consistent service here. I like the flat screen TV’s in the dining room too. There’s no playland here though.
What sucks about this McDonald’s is the drive-way access. Poor planning on the part of the city planners. The parking lot and driveway are all screwed up!

I’m speaking only to drive-through service with this review. It’s odd, since this McDonalds can have good days… but more times than not, it’s extremely slow. About 90% of the time I go there, it’s to get an ice cream — and about half the time I go, they’re out of ice cream (and I have to sit in a long line of cars, waiting to get out). Disappointing… but it’s the closest McD’s to me… so I occasionally give it a try.

1. Ice cream
2. Children’s facility
Out of five locations I’ve tried, this one is the best one to get ice creams.
Nice one dollar for two people trip on hot steamy days…
