If you are an organized person and a planner, like myself, do not go here. I called in December to set up a wedding hair and makeup trial for the beginning of January. After a couple of phone calls back and forth confirming the appointment, I showed up to the salon on the day we discussed. However, when I walk in for my appointment I was met with a look of confusion. The owner had completely forgotten about my appointment. Instead of taking the blame, like I was expecting, the owner started making excuses as to why there was a «miscommunication». According to her it was neither of our faults, and she couldn’t do a trial run anyways that day because my hair was«too dirty». Another client was already booked for that afternoon, and they would not be able to squeeze me in. After repeating these excuses multiple times, my bridesmaids and I leave the salon. I was extremely shocked and on the verge of tears, as I had been looking forward to this day all week. Needless to say, I canceled my appointment and did not go back. I gave this review 2 stars instead of 1 star because I cannot comment on the quality of their work. For someone having a better experience than mine the employees at the salon may have a lot of talent. But for me I was extremely disappointed with the lack of service and professionalism. If I can’t trust a hair salon to remember an appointment for a trial, how can I be sure the wedding day appointment would run smoothly?
