We originally tried Gruner Cleaning through an Amazon Local deal. It took awhile to find a date and time to schedule the first one, but we liked the service enough to sign up for regular cleaning.(And have tried a number of services via similar deals before picking one!) So far, we have been very pleased with the service. I liked that the owner took time to explain how the bi-weekly service worked(focus on a heavier cleaning of different areas each time in a rotation) and how we could provide feedback if we wanted different things focused on each week. We will continue using Gruner.

Went through Amazon Local to get their introductory deal. Saved it for a weekend I really didn’t want to clean, only to learn that Gruner had already told Amazon that I had redeemed the voucher. Tried calling the number on the website — spoke to someone who only knows fragmented English. The supervisor they referred me to ignored my calls. Called amazon — they told me that the company had changed the deal after I purchased the voucher. My problem is that they said I claimed the deal when I suddenly fell«out of range» when they changed their service radius instead of refunding my money. Terrible experience! Will never use this company.

Notice that I reviewed this in May and my comment was just responded to… almost 3 months later. I was never informed in any email about an hour delay due to driving. Mind you it took over an hour for her to arrive. Somehow she seems amazed that people have work and can’t wait around. I’m not letting any cleaning company into my apartment for the first time without meeting them… that makes sense to me. Obviously I made the right decision because the customer service is poor and it shows by the total disregard for timeframes and her inability to take responsibility for her actions. Oh, well. 3 out of the 4 reviews are 1 star so that says something.

I’d put zero stars if it was an option. I purchased an Amazon Local deal and emailed to set up my appointment after not getting through on the provided telephone line. I received grammatically incorrect, misspelled emails from Nicole Resstel, who, after receiving my address, stated that the company does not serve«Boston City» because«it’s no parking and too expensive.» First of all, I live WELL within the stated 35-mile serving radius and I have a private driveway. And a Boston Local Deal not serving the city of Boston? Okay, that makes sense. Anyway, I called Amazon Local to get a refund and it was very easy(thank you, Amazon). However, this was an annoying experience and the business is clearly not run with ANY professionalism.

I booked a $ 59 cleaning for 3000 square feet I obtained on . Nicole could not accomodate me on one of the two days I preferred when I would be at home, so she came when my husband was there. She completed the«cleaning» in one hour and 25 minutes.(It takes me 1 hour just to vacuum!). Needless to say, there were many things that were not done as she was instructed to do including washing the tiled family room floor. When I called her to ask why she did not spend more time here, she told me this was a light cleaning and I could ask for a refund from Amazon. She also said, this was a $ 39 voucher which it clearly was not. I have contacted Amazon and they will issue me a credit. But that does not solve the problem of booking a cleaning I depended on before entertaining 25 people at my home in 3 days. Now I will need to find the time to finish the job she did not do. She should at least have offered to come back and do the work I paid her for. At this rate, she earned $ 40 an hour so I guess I am in the wrong profession! And I thought these vouchers were to save money. Was I mistaken.
