Northgate Liquors Andover

This is the liquor store I frequent most often. If you are tired of dumpy liquor stores & crummy service I suggest trying Northgate. I am usually greeted when I enter the store and asked if I need any help with picking something out. The staff is friendly & there is usually plenty of people working. I hardly ever have to wait in line. A lot of the time I am offered free samples, things are kept stocked up and the store is kept clean. If you value great service like myself, I would make Northgate your regular liquor store where you can expect very consistent service.

Have shopped at a few local liquor stores and stumbled into this one while one a Target run. Clean, well organized, and plenty of selection.
The staff present themselves professionally, and will go the extra mile to help. This is really why I have started going here exclusively: I have for some time been trying to find a liquor store that can source sparkling red wine — not Rose — but sparkling merlot/​shiraz/​cabernet. The typical answer when I ask is well tell us the name of the wine and we’ll see what we can do. At Northgate the staff I spoke to not only knew what I was talking about, they had had some on the shelf in the past, and gave me a sense of hope that they could at least get some in again for me. I left my name and email, and after a few weeks they contacted us to say they had managed to get three bottles in and were holding it for me.
Their customer service earned five stars from me.

This an awesome Liquor store. They always have really good service and lots of variety. They sometimes have taste tests for new liquors and wines.

Love this Liq store. TONS of micro brews and great service… you can even ask them to order the micro brew of your choice and they call you when it comes in.

Where they excel is in the selection and the customer service. They carry the hard to find brands and varieties. They carry Crispin and a nice selection of Belgian beers.

More expensive than many liquor stores in the area but the selection is phenom. Has some hard to find beers and wines. Really has a great selection on craft beers in the larger 16oz bottles. And they always seem to have some sort of sampling or tasting going on. Beer and wine. The liquor offerings are pretty rad. if you drink or need a more obscure anything, like a flavored or rare brandy or something, they are going to be the best liquor store in the Anoka, Coon Rapids, Blaine area to go to first.
Prices can be steeper than other stores but the selection kind of makes up for it.
