Stopped in today to pick up some odds and ends and the owner Chris was working. He was Super friendly and knowledgeable I could of sat there and talked brewing with him all day. They are just getting started and the inventory reflects this. That said they have a little bit of everything to meet all your brewing needs. They also have a decent selection of craft beer as well. So you can make up a nice six pack to your liking. My Favorite part of the store is the six taps up front. You are allowed to draw your own one ounce samples of home-​brews he’s made. Every last one of them was great! I can’t wait to go back and shop there again!

Great addition to Ankeny. This is a family-​run joint and everyone is super knowledgeable and friendly. They have a small, but impressive selection of craft beers and you can make your own six pack with a variety of beers. They also have a small wine selection. This is also a great spot for home brewers as there are several kits and supplies for making your own beer. When I was in the store one of the owners was walking through some details with a customer and he sounded like he knew a lot of good info that he was happy to share with the customer.
I purchased a gift certificate for someone and they roll it up and bottle it, which was super clever and made giving the gift way more fun.
Great spot!
