Disappointed :(
I bought a rejuvenation session for my mother-​in-​law for her birthday. Erin was really nice to helped me out with the purchase and an appt schedule. But… When my mother-​in-​law went there (Erin gave her some applications — which is fine, it took an about 15 min) but she cut her facial treatment for 15 min!!! How does it works??? Why would she do that… On the girt certificate says 60 min body massage, 20 min foot massage, and 20 min facial! Not a 3 – 5 min facial!!! I really didn’t get this!.. It was a present, not even for my mom! I’m really disappointed (((
P. S. I also thought it’s gonna be some nice session, I saw a candles on the picture at least with some chill out music, but no. No music allowed over there.

Very cute space, calm (but not cheesy) music, warm comfy table, and a great massage from Josephine. The perfect combo of kind and effective. Plus, the oil she used left me smelling good all day :) Highly recommended.

I went to see Erin today for a 30 minute massage and it was a great experience. As another reviewer mentioned, the business is in a a pretty cool building. Erin is very nice and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed before starting the massage. As someone new to the area, I was glad that during the massage she told me a little about Ann Arbor and surrounding towns.
Erin definitely knows what she is doing and after the massage I felt very good. I will definitely be going back at least once a month. Special discounts for students!

I got a groupon for brazilian wax with 30 $. (Regular price 50, student discount 20%, which is great) They use two types of wax — honey sugar first with stripes and then hard wax to get the rest. I am used to the hard wax, and got bruise from the stripe thing.
The space and staff are both very decent though.

Fabiola is amazing. I had never gotten a facial before, and I am hooked. Would make a great gift or just a treat for yourself. I highly recommend her.

I’ve received many facials throughout the years from various estheticians but none of them have compared to what Fabiola has been able to do for my skin. Her deep knowledge and passion for nutrition and skin health is transformed into enthusiasm and quality care for her clients. She’s happy to give recommendations for your specific skin type and really knows the science behind what she does. Fabiola uses high grade products and has a gentle touch while doing extractions. Not to be too graphic but NO ONE has EVER been able to get rid of those stray black heads I have on the side of my nose but with Fabiola’s careful extraction technique, they disappeared. It was like magic! I must have stared at my nose for an hour in disbelief.
Fabiola is the facial queen! I’m a ‘believer’ and will be telling friends and family to go to her.

I had been suffering from a lower back muscle strain for almost two weeks when I finally decided to see if massage therapy would help. I looked into making an appointment Monday afternoon and was able to get a great time the following morning– good availability!
It took me a few minutes to find the place, because of construction outside, so I arrived right when my appointment was about to start rather than in advance. Erin was completely understanding about this and, after I filled out paperwork and discussed my hopes for the massage with her, got me set up for my massage very quickly.
The massage itself was great. Erin is very professional and really focused on my problem areas. Even better, she spent a solid forty-​five minutes on me, rather than shortening the massage itself due to the time I had to spend on paperwork. I would have understood if the massage had been a little shorter, but I really appreciated that it wasn’t.
Even better, I woke up today entirely pain-​free and I have only minimal stiffness in my lower back. So the massage really helped alleviate my lower back problems.
I’d highly recommend Core, and Erin, to anyone looking for a great massage in a comfortable environment. And with student pricing, it’s really affordable! Knowing I have consistent back problems from working at a desk, I may become a regular here.

Josephine is great, she’s professional and best of all, just really really good. I have constant issues in my neck and shoulders, she knew exactly what to do. I’ve not been to a masseuse who could really put that area to ease so quickly. I had the hot stone add on. In the past, people have just left it on and let it soak in, which is fine, but Josephine knew exactly what to do with the rocks to make it really work. I will definitely go again.

I used to go here every 3 months or so to get a massage and haven’t been in a while just because I’m saving money, but I send anyone who is looking for a place here. Erin and Josie are both great, very friendly, and I always come out feeling incredibly relaxed. This is a great place to go if you’re feeling stressed or have some back pain.

Update:
I broke my ankle in may 2012, and due to bed rest, and crutches, my body was completely messed up. Erin has since even working on evening my hips back, and even helps with getting motion back in my ankle. Definitely worth visiting for injuries! Just another skill I didn’t know they had!

Erin is great! My husband and I both see her periodically. She gives a great massage and tailors the massage to your aches and pains on a given day. The environment is comfortable, unpretentious, cozy and she is a lot of fun to talk with!

Josephine rocks. Went in with some fairly debilitating neck and shoulder pain that had come on strong for a few days with no relief in sight. 30 minutes with Josephine followed by a good night’s sleep and I’m pain free. She just zeroed in on the problem areas and demonstrated great skill and knowledge in making it ALL RIGHT again. And the atmosphere is very serene, too. Nice. Thanks so much. On with life.

Finally, a great massage place! This is THE BEST I have had in Michigan! Erin was amazing! Her myofacial release work really alleviated a lot of my pain! She was so nice and the place is very relaxing! The building is historic and has so much character! She also heats the massage table! I’ll def be back and I highly recommend her!

Great massage place in Ann Arbor! Student specials are $ 50 for almost an hour, and both Erin and Josephine are great. They really listened to my requests and used minimal oils so I could actually be seen in public afterward. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended is an understatement. As far as professional therapeutic massage goes, this is the place to go. I have been seeing Erin Morin for years and she is as knowledgeable, intuitive, and skilled as ever. Josephine is a great counterpart! Also have to mention how beautiful the building is. Penthouse of a fantastic old Ann Arbor city building. Reminds me of buildings I have only been to in Detroit. A great home to CORE and a reason to book an appointment on its own!
I am currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer and Erin has been remarkable as complimentary therapy. I trust her experience and naturally calming demeanor lend well to that fact.

really great massage, i was having some trouble with my shoulder so she spent some extra time there and had a good conversation with me before the massage to understand what the issue was and how she might be able to help. highly recommended.
