This place is awesome! You can find anything and everything you are looking for, prices are fair, all of the staff but one individual are AWESOME. There is one somewhat older gentleman who typically works in the pizza are who is not pleasant(very much so in fact) but if you avoid him, you will love this place!

Stumbled upon this place looking for a post office. I just moved to the area, and I was very impressed with Tippins. I had a slice of chicken/pesto/broccoli pizza and caught the end of the Tigers game on tv that I had been listening to on the radio in their little dining area. I bought some deviled egg potato salad and it was delish as well. I wasn’t on the prowl for beer but they appear to have a huge selection of Michigan crafts, plus a wall of liquor. There is a deli and a massive wine section as well. I will be back lots. I was greeted by quick and friendly staff. I’ll probably be changing this to a 5-star once I go back!

Large selection of all types of alcohol. The little pizza shop is a nice touch too.

Man, Tippins is great. «Market» doesn’t do it justice. Need craft beer or a great bottle of wine? Tippins’s got it. Looking for a delicious pizza? They’ve got that, too(and calzones and other goodies). What about freshly baked treats(mmmmm, mint-chocolate brownies), packaged salads, grocery basics and a meat counter? Yup. That too. When I asked for a couple of rib eyes, the guy let me pick my steaks from the tray. Cool. Added bonus: pretzels on Saturday are delicious, and the farm that sells their produce in the parking lot grows the yummiest sweet corn.

We got a couple pizzas and a salad. The salad was ok. Basically just shredded iceberg with mozzarella and tomatoes(it was a caprese). The pizzas were very good. Tons of toppings. Not a lot of sauce, which I prefer more sauce, others less. Quite a lot of cheese. The ingredients tasted a better quality then most places. Of the toppings the meatball was the star. They also have a market(chips, beer, huge wine selection, pop, liquor) if you are having a party, nice everything is there. Would definitely recommend.

I work right by this place and it’s always been so awesome to be able to stop in and find anything I’m in the mood for. They have pizza, sandwiches, salads, and everything else. I can also wander around the store and pick up beer, wine, and soda. I love this place and typically, the staff is really nice. They are sometimes a little pricey but that’s to be expected from a really small store. Atmosphere — 5⁄5 Prices — 4⁄5 Friendliness — 4⁄5 Knowledge of products — 5⁄5 Convenience — 5⁄5

Great place to stop on Game Day. We stopped here for tailgate goodies on Saturday before the Michigan — Nebraska football game.(Go Big Red!) We were certainly not disappointed. The selections were terrific, food fresh, and, service crisp. Great destination for Foodies!

I stop here from time to time to pick up a bottle of wine and a cigar. The staff is always so friendly and helpful! They have a great wine selection with lots to choose from. I’m not much of a beer drinker, but I noticed they also have a nice assortment of craft and specialty beers. If you’re looking for something special to drink, check this place out. I’m never disappointed!

I am reviewing the hot food that they make. I’ve had the wednesday Pot Roast and it was delicious!!! Cooked slow for hours and includes gravy, mashed potatoes, choice of veggie(carrots), and a roll with butter. The mashes potatoes are homemade with lumps and skin and are good by themselves but with butter and the meat filled gravy they are GREAT!!! Carrots and roll are fine but the roast really shines. An excellent pickup meal to take home. It is so good!!!

I’ve driven past this place for years and recently stopped in to check out their wine selections. I was completely blown away! They have a wide variety of beer and wine in all price levels, and the market area has all kinds of goodies! The staff here is so nice, you can tell they’re treated well and enjoy working there which I really appreciate. There’s nothing worse than going to a place where people are miserable. I’ve been in a bunch of times since I first went in, and there’s always something going on. Pizza, hot pretzels, wine tastings, it’s so great! If you’ve never been here, just stop in for something basic and see if you’re not stopped dead in your tracks by all the cool things they have. I think it’s safe to say I’m a fan of this place. One last thing… I accidentally dropped a bottle of beer out of the package from reaching for it on the top shelf :(as soon as I heard it shatter I wanted to crawl under a rock, I felt so bad. The girl at the counter said it was no big deal at all, I could go get a full pack(I was going to buy the holiday 5 pack) and they would just sell the rest as individuals. I thought that was very nice of her, and I’ve told all my friends how cool they were about it. Consider me(and my friends) lifelong customers!

Great place to hit when in the area. Nice wine selection. Small café area with hot food. Very ecclectic selection. Even had a small produce and deli counter. I can always find something a bottle of something interesting in the cooler case.

This place is a gem. I drove by it for years, then decided to go inside, because I knew Uncle D’s Pizza was there. I wanted to see the source of the pizza I’d tried at a seminar in town. The market is impressive! Lots of gourmet stuff. Definitely don’t overlook this place. A little pricey, but they have the regular and unusual, and it’s oh so convenient to stop in for a quick errand on the way home from work. Oh, and if you want wine or spirits — hey, I’m no expert, but I think they have an extensive selection. About half of the store space is devoted to potent potables. I know they do wine tastings occasionally. Maybe I’ll try that someday. I get a mailer from them once in a while.
