Bought 2 slices for my kids and a Ceasar salad. The small ceasar salad was $ 7 and the ingredients are lettuce, store bought croutons, parmesean cheese powder and a packet of some generic dressing. I told them that I want paying $ 7 for this lettuce bowl when I could just make something plain like this at home for about $ 50. The pizza was okay but I wish I would have gone to Valentinos down the street. I’m glad I tried it now I know to keep moving.

Been back a couple times since 1st discovering the place. Pizza remains good but they need to do something about the temp of the beer. It sits in an inch of ice near the register and is only $ 2 during happy hour but it’s never ice cold. For this reason I’ve downgraded from a 4 star to 3. Best pizza I’ve found in the area. I’m used to NY style and this is pretty damn close. I’m surprised every time I come that there is so few people eating in.

I’m from NY my partner is from NJ. Flippin’ doesn’t come close to our hometown pizza. I had the plain and the white with tomato, which was a little dry. For a while I was eating Harris Teeter pizza because the pizza down here is so horrible and gimmicky, but Flippin’ has a thinner crust and isn’t bad once you get over the fact that you’re paying $ 5 for what should be dollar slices. Also, I recommend you order delivery because seeing them cut pizza with a stencil will break your heart.

I first tried Flippin Pizza in California and became OBSESSED, so I was thrilled to find out that Flippin Pizza had stores in the northern VA area when I moved here! I’ve ordered from this location about 6x since I’ve moved here for various get-togethers and my guests and I have thoroughly enjoyed the pizza every time. I’ve put quite a few people on to them. Sometimes delivery time can be a bit long if you order on a busy evening but they’ll warn you. Also the employees there are always very nice and greet you even if they’re busy finishing up something and offer you a drink when waiting for your pick up order to be ready. :)… 5 stars! I highly recommend the Pesto pizza & the Pepperoni! My friends are obsessed with the BBQ! My only complaint is that they don’t offer a hawaiian pizza but it’s all good

I placed an order for delivery. Paid for the order and after waiting for an hour and a half it never showed up. Sonia who is supposed to be the manager stopped talking my calls and had another employee say they were a manager also. Point is don’t EVER place an order for delivery here. Don’t ever go here there customer service is the worse. They have no people’s skills. What a waste of place.

I have ordered from this place 3 times. I like the pizza, but delivery service is atrocious. Every single time it has taken over an hour to deliver and their estimate is always«35 minutes». Too bad they won’t be getting my business again. Also, plain cheese pizza was inexplicably spicy.

We ordered tonight for the first time and I really wish I could share a picture. I’ll link to my pic so you can see this sorry excuse for a pizza for which they charged $ 20. There were blobs of sauce and where there wasn’t sauce, there were very, very little toppings. This is disgusting and highway robbery. Not to mention that their delivery estimate was less than half the time it took for them to deliver. Just a joke. Would NOT recommend.

Ordered a pizza through Eat24 for delivery. Although the app promised 1-hour delivery, the food never came. After checking with Eat24, the restaurant supposedly said delivery would take another 45 minutes-an hour. Will probably never go here or use Eat24 again.

Good pizza but ALWAYS slow. Regularly call in or online order, told 15 min and it’s ALWAYS late. By 10 – 20 minutes. May need to find a new pie place… Esp for the price.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. First of all the pizza was burnt when we got it, I ended up throwing it all away. I called right away and as soon as the guy answered he told me to hold and I was on hold for more than 5 min! You know what if I’m gonna spend more than 40 bucks on pizza and then to get shotty service I will never order from here again! Terrible food, terrible customer service!

Ordered delivery and it took much longer than expected to get here, almost an hour. When calling to order, they never asked for payment so when the delivery guy arrived we were forced to pay cash. The pizza was okay, but the garlic knots were gross. We got the meat lovers and supreme pizzas and both just were okay. The garlic knots were stale and dry even though they were dropping in oil. Would suggest getting pizza from one of the other billion pizza places in the world.

«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» describes my thoughts on Flippin’ Pizza, perfectly. This past weekend, I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese and was underwhelmed. Delivery time was average, but the pizza was definitely below average. First of all, I hate the fact that they only have one size, so you have to get a large pizza no matter what. The pizza wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t necessarily good either. It was VERY greasy and I’m not even sure if they actually put extra cheese on it or not. Probably won’t be ordering from here again, any time within the near future.

This is my first time I have ever written a bad review about anything. I Waited 1 hour and a half for the pizza. I took it upon myself to call and see what happened. When I called they said the driver came and tried to call me and that my pizza was sitting on top of their oven. I know the driver never came. I order through a deliver service and they said to me they never even put the order in. By the time I received my pizza 2 hours later. Their employees where rude and could careless. Pizza was cold, dried up and terrible. I personally never had a bad pizza in my life till I had this one. I don’t want compensation just be a little nicer about dropping the ball instead of lying and giving me attitude.

Pizza was great. We like the crust and lightness of the sauce. The garlic knots were very tough and seemed like leftovers from yesterday.

First let me say that I am not at all ashamed to admit that I’ve ordered from this restaurant twice in the last week! Their pizzas are incredible! Goodness! The ingredients are very very fresh and the cheese even tastes fresh. The pizza is still hot when it arrives. I am a big fan of the New York style thin slice pizza and they’ve nailed it! They are very accommodating and do a pretty good job of giving you exactly what you ask for. The staff is always polite, receptive and courteous. I ordered the Bronx and substituted black olives for meatballs. It is absolutely amazing! I don’t typically handout five stars to restaurants unless I’m very impressed. Flippin’ pizza has impressed me. Don’t just take my word for it, try it yourself. You’ll thank yourself for it.

This is a chain restaurant, but for chain pizza, they do a solid job. The crust is good, the sauce is really good, and they used fresh basil on my pizza – I can’t complain. Plus, extra points for them because you can buy it by the slice. Customer service isn’t always amazing, but considering the environment and the very cheap cost, I’m okay with service that doesn’t wow me so long as it isn’t bad.

I had update my review the first time their pizza was great but every time since the flavor and presentation had declined. 2nd time we cane the garlic nuts were forgotten in my delivery order And when they cave back to bring them they were burnt. This time the slices lacked flavor sauce and the guy just put two slices one on top of each other and the cheese got sick to the bottom of the top slices. NOTEATINGMYTINEANDMONEYONTHISPLACEAGAIN.

I didn’t expect much, but the thin pizza here actually is tasty! I got the sausage and pepperoni, and it was fine(I enjoyed the pepperoni immensely) — however, the pepperoni slices were a tad too small, and the sausages kind of weirded me out. The vegetable pizza with the basil and the tomato was quite fantastic, and sprinkling on that Parm and hot chili flakes make it so much better. They have Pepsi products only, but the veggie pizza is something I would come back for a specific craving. +pepperoni pizza-by-the-slice +avoid the sausage topping +vegetable pizza

Flippin’ Pizza — you either love it or you dislike it. To me… I LOVE it. Why? First of all, the ingredients in the pizza are fresh… and there’s no added sugar, oil etc. Perfect when you’re on a ‘diet’ right? However, I understand there aren’t many options to choose from and to some it’s ‘bland’ — thats because there is no added sugar :) Pizza to me has to be thin and not having you feel heavy/nasty upon eating. Flippin Pizza actually tastes light and you can’t just have one slice! I think my favorite thus far is the tomato basil and veggie with less cheese. Wishing their veggie had more veggies but it’s still pretty good. The white pizza is too cheesy in my opinion so avoid that if you’re not a huge fan of cheese. The best thing about this location = the staff here. They are oh so friendly — very good customer service. Negative: They only come in one size — 18″ pies.

Wait… Flippin’ Pizza is a chain? I was surprised by all the grand reviews. I am a fan of NY style pizza(I’ve been to Chicago and I am decidedly on the side of the thin crust!) But after trying this pizza all that really I could think of is wow, I’ve had better! I’ve had better at pretty much every pizza place I’ve been to! This pizza is sadly nothing special. And this particular location is doomed with Valentino’s right down the road.
