I’ve eaten here a couple times and taken out many more. I love the food here from the duck roll, fried tofu, pig leg, Tala Thai, and crispy chicken. The only complaint I have for this place is that their crispy chicken used to nuggets of chicken, but now it seems like they are just fried pieces of sliced chicken. Lots of breading and not so much chicken meat. We’ve stopped ordering that dish now, but do hope they would change it back. Because for almost 16 dollars, that seems little steep for the amount of protein you get.

Solid choice for Thai food in the Annandale/Merrifield area where there is a dearth of Thai restaurants that are not only good, but also deliver. This is my third time eating from there so I waited to post a review. All items ordered have been lunch specials for $ 8.95 and all have contained a generous portion of food. First meal is my go to dish: pad see ew. As someone who does not like egg, I was glad that the copious egg was on top of the meal so I could pick it out easily. The meal was quite fragrant from all the garlic and I was excited to eat it but after one bite of the broccoli I had to spit it out because it was SOBITTER. I then had to tread carefully because I had to surgically extract the meat from the bitter veggies. I finally gave up and took the food home for my dogs to enjoy. This is why they’re fat — they get all my leftovers. If I order again, I will order without egg and veggies. I was sad it didn’t work out. Meal #2 was chicken pad Thai no peanuts. Get it and there was that damn egg on top again. Luckily this was again easy to remove. Solid lunch choice — everything was very savory and tasted perfect. Meal #3 is chicken pad Thai no peanuts no egg. As I am sitting here eating the perfect meal, I am typing my review between shoving forkfuls in my mouth. I endorse this restaurant heartily from my experience and my coworkers. We haven’t been in person so we can only rate based on delivery but it is a solid, extensive menu to choose from and you get a lot for a little bit of $$$

I’ve tried plenty of Thai restaurants in NOVA like Sisters Thai, Thai Square, Neisha Thai etc. I have to say TF is the top on my Thai list. My favorite dishes here are grilled pork on sticks, Sukothai Noodles and Papaya salad. All of them tastes lots better compared to other places which offer same item. Glad that I found this place. Keeping up you guys!

I only tried this place for delivery because it’s one of the few Thai places on Bite Squad near me. I went with this one because of the positive Unilocal reviews but was very disappointed how bland and just not very good the food is. I’m spoiled by Duangrat and Rabieng’s amazing Thai food, but unfortunately neither deliver and are not participating with Bite Squad. I tried the duck roll(where is the duck?), the spicy crispy chicken(it’s spicy but not in a good way, definitely pass), pad Thai and pad see ew. Pad Thai and pad see ew are my usual Thai dish I order at every Thai place and this place is just very very bland. There are much better Thai food around, I just need to find one that delivers!

Get the duck rolls, they are amazing. Service was friendly and fast. There is a tv, in case you need to watch the game. The music playing overhead is relaxing. The only downside was that the bartender had no idea how to make an apple martini, she tried to give me apple juice, so no complicated drink orders.

Delicious! Ordered a shrimp dish, green curry, and spring rolls. I wouldn’t recommend the spring rolls, but the green curry and shrimp dish we had were great. Will absolutely be ordering from here again!

The restaurant is very clean and the servers are very attentive. I’ve had a vermicelli noodle salad which wasn’t to my liking(very herby) — but I’m sure that was due to personal preference. I ordered a beef pad thai and was disappointed in its bland taste. I’ve gotten their basil fried rice as take-out which saved my overall dislike of the restaurant. I don’t plan on returning to the business but if I do, that will most likely be the only item I order.

I wish I could say better things about this Thai restaurant, but I was completely disappointed by the food. I ordered take-out from here on a Saturday afternoon, choosing to go with some of the regular choices, Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Both dishes, unfortunately, were terribly under-seasoned and lacked the punch of flavors I traditionally associate with Thai cuisine. The noodles were also on the mushy side(overcooked?) and oily, with that greasy sheen doing nothing to elevate the flavors of the dish. The portions were generous and the order was ready-to-go in fifteen minutes, but sadly not even these positives could outweigh the withering disappointment I had as I ate my meal.

Our Thai friend brought us here for dinner. The place has a nice modern looking. Simple but nice. Food was so good! Very close Thai made in Thailand. Don’t order the usual drunken noodles. Get something else. I can’t remember the names but ask the mince chicken with beans. Catfish was also good. The watercress salad with seafood was great! The only problem is little bit too salty. You can ask them less salty when you order.

All I can say is wow. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to find this place. This place is great. Authentic thai food. I intialually came in because I saw they they made thier papaya salad with fermented fish. I had been craving that for awhile and was too lazy to make it. Sadly ours didn’t have the little fermented pieces of crab and we ordered it on the less spicy side because my friend was pregnant but it was still delicious. I was very pleased. The other dishes we ordered came out great too. We started with the fried calamari. Which came out crispy even after sitting on the table for quite awhile they remained crispy which was really good. The beef pad se eww and shrimp penang curry were also delicious. Flavorful generous portion. Prices are actually quite reasonable. I will definitely be coming back here. Seating area is a little limited but they don’t seem to get too packed. Wait staff is attentive and curteous.

Food was great, and delivery was quick and easy. Some of the meals came out with significant vegetables and sauce and skimpy on the protein.

I have very few places around me that deliver so I was really bummed this place didn’t pan out. I got the shrimp pad see eew and, while the flavor was ok and the portion was generous, the noodles were so terribly overlooked that they were like mush. The four sad little shrimp were pretty dry and there was a visible ½ inch of oil at the bottom of the container-gross. The spring rolls were good though and delivery was fast. UPDATE: I received the nicest phone call this morning apologizing for the order last night and asking me to come in some time. Good customer service makes all the difference! I will definitely order again and update my review.

*** CREDITCARDFRAUDALERT *** This restaurant has had repeated fraud cases involving stolen debit/credit card information, dating all the way back to 2012! My first fraud case happened back in 2012 when my DB card was spoofed and after the hassle of getting new cards and getting refunded for my loss, the restaurant people confirmed they had problems and that they’ve fixed the issue. Well guess what? I decided to give them a chance and now my newly-issued credit card just got spoofed! The pattern is the same — a month after using your CC at this restaurant you receive a call from your CC provider advising you that your card may have been used for fraud(and they’re unfortunately correct). Even the local fire dept has issued a warning to its people not to use CC’s at this restaurant. What escapes me is how the owners lie about their CC systems being safe and they’re STILL stealing info — I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an inside job! So if you see suspicious activity on your card after using it here, PLEASE contact the local authorities and voice your concern. There’s a reason why I hardly see anyone dining here anymore — justly so, they deserve it for not protecting their customers’ information!

Dined in and also came for a pick up order– both super fast, efficient and employees were so nice! They are very clear about what’s inside each dish and details how spicy certain menu choices are. They are willing to accommodate any add-ons ons or substitutions, within reason– of course. It’s at a great location I’d say & normal price for Thai food in Northern Virginia($ 10-$ 17 per head– per plate)

Ordered carryout so can’t speak on the in restaurant dining experience. Kept it simple and went with fried rice with tofu and while it was good it was nothing special. First issue was it was light on the tofu, maybe 4 pieces within the entire dish. Rice was cooked well but I’m going need a little more tofu to be truly satisfied. Tofu didn’t have much flavor but then again when does it ever. For now I cant give it more than an ok, I shall return in the future to try other dishes but I wasn’t moved by my first visit.

Just ok… My boyfriend and I ordered drunken noodle, pad see ew, and the chive dumplings. All pretty simple stuff. The dumplings were pretty much tasteless. Even with the sauce it wasn’t really worth the deep fried calories. The noodle dishes were alright, the drunken noodles definitely better than the pad see ew. Overall it sated my Thai craving but I’m not sure if we’ll be going back, unless I really need some drunken noodles. I should add though that their delivery option is awesome. Weekend dinner order was placed and delivered in 20 minutes!

This place although I didn’t order allot so far was legit. I got done wonton soup and fried duck rolls both very good. And I have to mention the wonton soup and especially the dumplings were the best I ever had. the wonton soups are usually plain but this one had a really special broth with roasted vegetable it seemed like not just streamed. The broth might have been done different then most :) ever had but it wad good. The duck rolls were very good not dry at all. I like the sweat sauce and I usually don’t buy everything just clicked together. I don’t say this often but I am definitely coming back to try done more of this place.

Best Thai food we had had in Annandale so far! We will be back! I had the eggplant entrée with beef and it was spicy, flavorful yet was a manageable heat level! We will be back to try something new next time! If your craving Thai or something spicy, try it!

LOCATION: RIGHTNEXTTOILMEE and food corner kabob. It was dinner time, my friend wanted Thai. She said, «let’s go get thai food.» I said, what’s the place called? She said Thai FOOD!!! The exchange was all very confusing, until we got to the restaurant and I realized it was literally called THAIFOOD!!! End of lame story. We walked in and were the only customers that had arrived for dinner. I was saddened but also happy so we could have the place to ourselves, MUHAHAHAH. The waitress greeted us, we sat down, the wood was sustainable! The atmosphere was cozy, dim, and relaxing. There was a huge buddha head that was staring at us, but he looked nice. We were thirsty, we ordered thai tea. It was too sweet, we thought we would die of diabetes. We wanted an appetizer we got the tom kai soup, they pour it at your table, cool effect! We were hungry, one ordered ginger beef, the other ordered sukothai noodle soup. The sukothai noodle soup came out piping hot, and smelled amazing!!! The soup… was packed with so much spice, that I thought someone was going to die(me). I can handle spicy, don’t get me wrong, I CANHANDLESPICY, but this soup made me feel small, weak, and defenseless. It was still amazing though. What was deceiving is that the soup got 1 star for spiciness on the menu, this was a bold faced LIE. More on that ginger beef, the beef was overcooked, wah wah, so sad, but the flavor profile was on point. Also whoever said they had credit card fraud at this place, thanks a lot because I was SCARED& filled with paranoia, so I paid in cash. P. S. — Impossible to google, make sure you write«thai food in annadale.»

I am glad this restaurant open because I love thai food and finding one around annandale is hard. I went here around 8:45pm on a wednesday night with my boyfriend because we were craving for it. I personally don’t like small spaces, but this restaurant has it own atmosphere that make the small place great. The servers were very polite and always came back to ask if we need anything else. The food portion is decent with the price, but very spicy. I didn’t like my food too spicy because I couldn’t taste other flavors inside. I like the most about this place is they have water inside a wine bottle that they put on our table so we can refill ourself. I thought that was very clever and cute. Parking of course is shared with other stores, therefore it has plenty of spaces so no worries on not finding one.
