Bottom Line: Beautiful furniture, artwork and home décor, much of which reflects the rich nautical and hunting traditions of Maryland.
Maryland Avenue has some of the most distinct and classy shopping in downtown Annapolis and The Peake House doesn’t disappoint! A long time favorite of my Mother’s, I now too really enjoy looking at the beautiful furniture and home décor at The Peake House. Everything in here looks very high end but much of it is reasonably priced. Here are some of the treasures one can expect to find at The Peake House:
— Beautiful pillows and cozy throws
— Ceramic lamps
— Original oil paintings
— Holiday decorations
— Small pieces of furniture
— Tableware and linens for entertaining
Not only are the items for sale beautiful, but like much of downtown Annapolis, the interior of this historic location is very quaint. Be sure to head to the back of the store to climb the beautiful staircase to find more treasures upstairs!

When shopping in downtown Annapolis, the Peake House is always a favorite. The atmosphere of the shop is so welcoming. It gives you great decorating ideas and has perfect selections for special gifts. Staff and owner very accommodating and knowledgeable. So pretty at the holidays.
