My name is Michele Ostrie and have been going to dr. Ness for a couple of years now for fillers and will be starting a weight management with him. I have been to most all the doctors in Contra Costa and a couple in S.F. And for sure I never have felt that I could trust a doctor like I do with dr. Ness, he knows exactly what you need, he is an artist when it comes to doing the right thing for you, he is extremely kind and I feel the best doctor I have ever gone to!!! His staff is friendly and he has the best assistant Darla, she would literally hold your hand when your getting your shots. I am also going to him for weight management, I trust him more than any other Doctor I ever went to, am so lucky to have found him, and just adore Darla! i live in Alamo, but would travel anywhere his practice was, as you can tell!!! They are the best!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ness for over a year now.
I started to see signs of aging so I wanted to get some botox and fillers. I am so glad I chose Dr. ness he knew exactly what and where I needed treatment he recommended cupid’s bow I would have never thought of that. I had fine lines around my lips he recommended pumping my lips out to help with that and it worked wonders. I also had the hair on my upper lip removed. He takes the time to talk to you and explain everything and does great work. I love Darla his office manager she is the greatest sweet caring and knowledgeable.

We don’t usually post reviews (I think I have only done 2 in my life) but am extremely concerned about Andrew Ness and his business practices. We have been patients for about a month. The first appointment (and only one for me) We had to wait 2 hours in the waiting room. This should have been a red flag. When the nursing staff was asked about this we were told that this was «normal.» When I finally got called back, he talked to me for a few minutes and immediately began to sell me cosmetic services. Did this to my 20 year old daughter as well. Other reviews make mention of this. They also make mention about feeling uncomfortable around him when alone with him. A month later I get a bill in the mail for the complete amount of the visit. Called back to straighten this out and was referred to an outside billing agency that the office manager (wife) knew nothing about. A week later we received some letter in the mail stating that he was releasing us from his practice??? Never in 45 years have I seen that. When I called to ask about it, the office manager had no idea. Keep in mind we had only seen him once. My best guess? Unless you pay out of pocket for cometic services, he is not interested in serving you. If you are interested in family medicine this is not the practice for you. Also has no other doctor working with him so back up services are not available. We found this out when my son needed care and he was on vacation. The good news? At least my son didn’t get sold cometic services! Hope this helps.

I am a new patient to this office. I had Botox and filler done, and I look 10 years younger. Dr Ness is great. He is very hands on, and loves his craft. Darla his assistant is one of the most lovely woman I have met in a long time.
Customer service is a top priority for this team. Bring self employed for 35 years, customer service is EVERYTHING to me, and they are the BEST! I highly recommend them.

I would like to say that this was the first time going to doctor Ness. I got botox injection. I have been to several places. With out a doubt this was the best experience for me. Doctor Ness and his staff were very professional and compassionate. He took his time explaining the procedure. Was very gentle. Plus I had the best outcome. I definitely recommend coming here!!!

I am in the health care professional and I am a 50 years old woman wanting to look my best! I have had Juvederm and Botox before at spa setting and also by a RN. I also have some medical conditions from being a survivor of breast cancer. I came to Dr. Ness’s office to do some Juvederm and Botox. I also wanted the doctor to look at some cholesterol spots on my eyes. I also was not feeling well. Some of my symptoms were blurred vision, feeling dizzy, heart palpitations, and white deposits on my eye lids. I am a member of Kaiser through my employer and have not been feeling well lately. Kaiser took some lab test 3 weeks prior and told me that I was fine and the lab test were normal. Kaiser also checked my eyes and gave me eyeglasses. (I have had Lasix in the past)
Dr. Ness and his right hand woman (Darla) did the most comprehensive exam for Botox and Juvederm i have ever had before. In my opinion Dr. Ness is beyond and expert in his face designs. He sits down with you and explains everything. He does all the injection himself. He is a perfectionist. He also was concerned about my symptoms and the white spots on my eye lid and had his medical assistant take some of my blood and did a quick evaluation of my cholesterol. Sure enough my cholesterol was extremely high. I took the lab test from Dr. Ness to my Kaiser doctor and Kaiser re tested me. Kaiser got the same results as Dr. Ness this time??? Kaiser put me on a drug to lower my cholesterol immediately. Two weeks have past now and I feel so much better!, I do not have to wear my eye glasses anymore my vision is back to normal and I have a beautiful face again! Thank you so much Dr. Ness, Darla and the rest of the staff!
From now on when ever I do not feel well Dr. Ness is my physician. Even though I am a Kaiser patient through my employer. I am willing to pay out of pocket for Dr. Ness’s services and advice! You do not have anything if you do not have your health!

I haven’t taken care of myself in so long. Dr. Ness was referred to me by my husband who would see him as a teenager.
I started up my general care in the last 6 weeks and so far so good. He is thorough and genuinely interested in my ailments and how to help improve them. I have a few health issues I am dealing with and feel confident that Dr. Ness is involved in my care.
His support staff is also very nice and attentive.

being 46 years old, i can say without a doubt, you won’t find a better, more compassionate doctor anywhere. He’s a rare doctor that is not only thorough, but he’ll sit down with you and really listen to you as a doctor and a friend. he’d been our family doctor for 15 years.

He was to busy trying to prescribe me Viagra and laser hair removel. THEN TREAT MY ACTUAL PROBLEMS:)I found a new doctor since then.

I have been to many other Spas and clinics including some very upper end spas and I can tell you that I have never had the results that I got with my one visit to Dr. Andrew Ness!
Dr. Ness does the work himself and knows exactly what he is doing…
I went in trying to tell him where I wanted my Botox and after letting him do it his way, my results came out better than they ever have! And I’ve had a lot! :-)

Dr. Andrew Ness is a wonderful doctor. Very complete in his examination and follow up. Leaves nothing to wonder about. Will send out in a minute if there are any issues to follow up with specialists on. Does not hesitate! Have been going to him for over 10 years and could not be happier with my personal physician. He is gentle and kind. His office staff is friendly and knows you the minute you call or walk in the door. There can be a wait time, but no worries. He gives you the attention your deserve and trust when its your turn. Would highly recommend him.

Ok he was my doctor for like a month or two, here is what happened. I am completely new to John Muir Med group and Blue Cross having had Kaiser for 10 years. I don’t know where to go, what to do, I’m lost. I called Dr. Ness’s to make an appt. I was having a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics (it was very bad). I called Dr. Ness’s office he was gone to Mexico on vacation, which is fine. My problem was with his staff. I told them I’m having a severe allergic reaction, they told me to go to the clinic beind Sutter Delta. So I go, they are closed and only open after regular business hours, I go home to wait, I can’t afford $ 75 for the emergency so I wait for the clinic. I get to the clinic, guess what! It’s for people who don’t have insurance, they won’t take me after suffering ALL day. So I wind up in the emergency, where I get shots etc. I call Dr. Ness’s office within a week with stomach problems, I’m in pain. Because I’m a new patient I’m told it is a ½ hour appt so it will take two weeks to get me in. I say, but I’m in pain now! Too bad two weeks and if you can’t handle it go to the John Muir clinic in Brentwood, so I do. In the mean time I make an appt to see Dr. Ness, I need to meet him and get to know him and go over my medical history, right? I wait the 2 plus weeks. The friday before my appt. they call me and cancel, don’t even offer to reschedule. I guess he had an emergency, no explanation really. For one, he should have a doctor he refers patients to when he is not available, not some clinic. His staff needs to learn manners, they were rude and unapologetic for any of their shortcomings. They lost 4 patients, maybe they don’t care and don’t need the income? I would never refer anyone here and they should be embarrassed at the way I was treated, or should I say they way I wasn’t treated.
