If I could give this place fewer stars I would. Had a problem with weed whacker. Would idle with choke on but turning off choke killed it. I knew I needed to adjust the L screw. But i couldn’t find the necessary tool. I called and the person working told me that due to federal laws consumers can’t get this adjusting wrench. He then told me that he has one but my problem was vacuum. I asked if I could drive down to his shop and use his wrench to turn the screw ½ turn to eliminate that as a problem before proceeding. He told me that he wouldn’t let me use it. I found a tiny piece of copper tubing, pinched the edge, turned the L screw ½ turn. Boom. Problem fixed. Needless to say I’ve told everybody I know and continue to. I forgot about Unilocal until now. Too much trouble for me to drive down and under his supervision, use his magical tool to turn the L screw and then tells me it is vacuum. Makes me wonder who else he has successfully screwed over.

I brought my chainsaw here twice both times they cleaned up and had it running really good after it came here. The first time i had gas in the corroborator and they replaced that sharped the chain and replaced the bar and it was running as good as new when i got it back. They only sharpen chains once a weeks so if you need to drop off Monday for a Tuesday that won’t work. I believe that they usually don’t have done until Friday because they get done Friday morning but most people that need an immediate turn around will do their own. They have a good selection of saws, weed wackers and blowers here, basically anything Husq or Stihl. Not as good selection with mowers and blowers but they still services those.

We have purchased snow blowers, lawn mowers and chain saw. Service is good — price may seem high, but you get what you pay for.

I’ve bought a pro grade trimmer and blower from Tyler’s and they’re pretty good. They are a full line Stihl and Husqvarna dealer, everything from trimmers to mowers to chainsaws. No Husky bikes or sowing machines though. They might still have Echo but, um, ask any pro with the exception of their large backpack blowers their stuff is junk. I’ve heard the staff can get a wee bit testy, but I haven’t seen it. Their prices for service are a bit high but they’re usually timely about it.
