Sonic Drive-In of Apache Junction

Just spent about 15 minutes waiting to have my order taken. I know it’s President’s day, and I was willing to cut them some slack on the wait time since they were busy, but every other time I have ever gone there if the wait was more than 3 – 4 minutes, I was told «I’m sorry about the wait, please give me a few minutes and I’ll be right with you.» This time, I watched someone pull up in the stall next to mine, and have their order taken before mine. Then I watched someone walk up to the patio, and also have their order taken before mine. At this point I pressed the button again — I waited another few minutes (while watching other people who had also arrived after me put in their orders), and then pressed it again. After waiting another few minutes I pushed the button and held it down until someone finally answered, and when they did they didn’t apologize about anything. Once that happened, I gave up in frustration — didn’t order anything and left. I would have been okay with the wait if I didn’t have ample opportunity to observe everyone else getting helped before me.

Did a late night drive through with my kids and got a variety of food. All of our stomachs were upset and we all had a rough night sleeping because of our stomachs. We are visiting in the area and will try someplace else next time.

I paid $ 9.00 for an order that they got wrong! Do not come to this sonic unless you want drinks! And even then, be prepared to wait for a long time.

NEVER USE CASH HERE, UNLESS YOU PRINT IT YOURSELF. Stupid people work here! Can’t tell the difference between fake money and real. Spent 29.00 on melted ice cream and below average food, gave the waitress 42.00 and told her to just bring me a 10 and keep the rest. She brought me back a wadded up, wet 10 dollar bill. I just set it on the console to let it dry out. Next morning I went to use it someplace else and we noticed it was fake. Went back to sonic and spoke to management and he was clueless. He didn’t know what to do. He took the bill and said he would have the general manager call me. 3 weeks later still no call.

This place is full of full on potato retards. I can’t believe how retarded this guy was. Are you guys hiring them? We had to go over our order with them 10 times then when we get our food it was still wrong. The guy who even delivered our food still told us our order right. It was still wrong. What a bunch of full potatoes.

Food is pretty good. Service is okay. Only had two people working when we were their.

Why does this conveniently located Sonic have to be the worst one in the area? Sonic is my daughter’s favorite ‘treat’ meal so I have a list on this location. The food taste is consistent but the little touches that make this location a drag.
They never give you mints.
They never put actual cherries in a cherry vanilla coke.
The don’t put cherries in any cherry drink, actually.
During the summer shake promotion, they run out of ice cream or whipped cream all the time.
The sometimes mess up sizes. You’ll order a medium and get a small.
And seriously, they had someone in a hotdog suite in over 100 degree weather.
Btw, the good Sonic is on Southern and Crismon. The live up to the Sonic name so I often drive the extra miles to get there.

Never been to a Sonic. first time I fell in love with the «New York» hot dog. But the second visit the dog was soggy and bread stale. Hmmm… take your chances I guess.

The food is typical sonic. It’s ok. Love the tater tots with cheese. The people working there were really friendly. I didn’t have the problems that others wrote about … Thankfully!

Blegh, blegh, blegh. I will never ever ever eat here, or at any Sonic for that matter ever again after what I experienced. I ordered food through the drive through and got awful customer service. Then when I returned home, my order was completely wrong! I was the only person there at the time so it isn’t liked they mixed my order with some one elses. Something told me to check the sandwhich and when I did, THERE WAS A HAIR!!! I almost threw up. I will never revisit any Sonic chain ever again, which is sad because Ocean Waters were my favorite.
