Pretty basic, inexpensive Chinese food with generous portions. Definitely hits the spot when craving some carry out. Have never left disappointed or with an empty stomach! Also nice that they deliver.

Need to rework their flavors… Hot and sour soup had zero sour and the Mongolian beef tasted like they added a cup of sugar to help cover up the lack of seasoning. People go to a Chinese restaurant to have Chinese food, not a interpretation of it. Try relying on more flavorful additions as well as fresh ingredients instead of adding MSG and sugar to cover it up.

Very clean and fast service. One of the few places open past 9 pm in Apalachicola. Prices were a bit high for the portions but not a deal breaker.

Hong Kong Bistro is a tremendous find in an endless sea of repetitive seafood eateries. Not only is the food well prepared but the owner basically responded affirmatively to every request we made: green onions in soup(who’d want it any other way?) more broccoli added to perfectly prepared sesame chicken — a plate of steamed broccoli is quickly delivered — free-of-charge. Hong Kong Bistro is the epitome of Southern Hospitality delivered with a side of fresh crispy Chinese noodles.

we recently vacationed in Eastpoint/Apalachicola. we rented a house with private pool and there was plenty of relaxation & delicious seafood. on the last night, our group was ready for something different. we stumbled upon Hong Kong Bistro. all was delicious! Krab Rangoon, Spring Roll, Edamame, Dumplings, Wonton/Egg Drop Soup, Fried Rice & various other entrees were all quite fresh & tasty! we spoke with some dining locals who also gave high praise.
