Our family has been going to Calvary Chapel since 2001. I grew up Catholic. My wife didn’t. The were«rules» if she were to convert in order for us to marry and her to attend. This led me to acknowledge this legalism and if this was truly biblical. It also made me assess my faith and maturity. In our search for a church home we came across Calvary Chapel. My eyes were opened. For the first time I was encouraged to read the Word myself. I did not need an «interpreter». That was not only a testament to my religious environment but also spoke to my spiritual maturity. I have been growing in leaps and bounds ever since. I am no longer drinking the milk of the Word but getting into the meat. Calvary Chapel Cary is our family. We eagerly look forward to fellowshipping with our members every week. and in between.

I began coming to this church about four years ago. Out of all the churches I have been to this one shines. Pastor Rodney is a wonderful pastor. He makes jokes and is so down to earth. He provides wonderful services which go book by book in the bible. Sundays is new testament and Wednesdays are old testament. This church also provides vbs in the summer. I highly recommend this church!!!

Let me just say this review is 9 years too late. My family & I have been attending Calvary Chapel Cary for nine years now. To say I’m a fan is an understatement. Churchs today say«come as you are» but they really don’t mean it. Well CCCary does! As the senior pastor Rodney Finch says, «come as you are, but cover it up… don’t nobody want to see all that…» meaning, wear what you’re comfortable in, but don’t show too much skin. It funny to see new comers as they are usually the ones in their«sunday best»(referring to my baptist roots), suit, tie, long dress, high heels or hard bottom shoes. On a usual NC Sunday, you’ll see short, t-shirt, flip flops, jeans and the occasional polo shirt or button down shirt. The crowd/congregation is what you would expect heaven to look like. Every nationality and skin color God has created. Most wearing a smile as they greet you. I say most because some folks just aren’t the smiling type although they’re happy to see you. CCCary is a Christian non-denominational church. No, they’re not Protestant, Catholic, AME or any other sect/denomination. Christ said, «Follow Me», not hey, you group of protestants follow me… or hey you group of catholics follow me… What I love most about CCCary is they are a verse by verse bible teaching church. You get a recap of the prior weeks teaching as well as a fresh dose of the word each week. The youth(middle school — high school) as well as the Children’s ministry(infant to 5th grade) follow the same concept. I hope to see you at one of the three services on Sunday or the Wednesday night service
