The business practices are questionable. I contacted BBB and Attorney General-Consumer Protection prior to entering a consignment agreement to sell furniture. In violation of such agreement, my property was sold without notification to me. After sale, no supporting documention was provided with the check. NC Statutes require maintaining specific records on consignment sales and providing same to consignee. It is very important for consumers to share experiences with others. I wish someone had done so. I would not have dealt with this company.

Although everything was neatly displayed(but expensive, in my opinion), and the girl behind the counter(on her computer) greeted me warmly upon entering and leaving the store, I feel I have to give them 2 stars. I expected them to have more in-store merchandise since they advertise themselves as Apex’s estate seller, but I was disappointed in their selection. I went in looking specifically for a sofa or loveseat and they only had a few for sale. Actually, maybe only 2, considering the one I was really interested was marked«sold». Oh, well. And one of the couches was $ 600– and it wasn’t even anything special! They have a small jewelry selection with reasonable prices but nothing at all modern or unique, unfortunately. Overall, I just feel it was overpriced and lacking in variety. When I go to a consignment shop(even if it’s furniture), I expect the prices to be significantly less than what I would pay for new, but here, this just isn’t the case.
