A wonderful haircut, amazing color and a wonderful staff, very great customer service. Would definitely recommend this salon. I have struggled to find a stylist I’m comfortable with for many many years. My mother did my hair my entire life and when she passed away I had a lot of anxiety about getting my hair cut by someone new. I have found a place at the art of hair to be completely comfortable and will continue to go back.

So… what’s worse than moving several states away with high schoolers and pets and so on? Yes– of course, finding a new hair wizard! Well, look no further because luck is with you– Scotsman David and his Londoner wife Lisa run a charming (renovation still in process) salon right in the heart of golden Apollo Beach! I am a low-​maintenance gal — highlights and a trim usually leave me looking a little refreshed but much the same. Thanks to David (well, I’m sure his decades of experience help, too), I’m sporting a prettier-​on-​me haircolor and long layers that feel 20 pounds lighter (whew)! To have hit the jackpot with my first attempt– well, I had to share. Worth the drive for sure, and I’ll be recommending him to every new friend I make in FL.
What do women want? Freud asked. «Just make me pretty!» I told David. He delivered. Go have some fun and get the hair cut/​color/​style that works on you.

Hands down, best haircut, color and style ive had since … welll, ever. I’m not the type to primp and preen or flat iron of even bother much with getting my hair cut more than once a year. I’ll update this review with pictures once i put makeup on. Til then, call and make an appointment, bring pictures and then enjoy the day there. Plus, the music they play is awesome and modern.
