Went to see THE BIG SHORT today. Enjoyed the movie but the theatre was freezing! It was already very cold outside and here we are watching a movie in a cold theatre with the AIR CONDITIONING RUNNING!!! Spoke with a female manager who said she’d go fix the problem and said it would take about 20 minutes for heat to come on!!!
That turned out to be false! Heat never came on, and I left theatre with a froze nose.
Wear your thermals!!! Lol

Thanks for nothing! I left my phone in the theater and they refused to let me go look for it. It was empty because it was the last show time. And when the dim witted staff figured out they looked in the wrong theater (even though I told them the movie name and show time) they finally found it while I waited outside in the freezing cold rain. What did you think I was going to do in an empty theater while I look for my phone? Rude and lacking customer service skills! Thanks for the attitude! You just lost a loyal customer and from the amount of people I usually see in your theater, you can use all the customers you can get.

I can understand why our friends recommended this spot over the Cinemark, which is located in an insanely busy strip mall. Digiplex is a great theater off the beaten path! Not going to lie– I got a little scared with the Children of the Corn vibe that I got driving to this place. We nearly ended up in a Quarry! It was definitely worth it to make the trek from Fort Irwin and avoid Victorville and the Cinemark in Apple Valley. This location might be remote, but it is a nice, comfortable, and clean theater. We came to watch Starwars and even updraded to DBox seats, which was something completely new to us! I will definitely choose Digiplex for the rare occasions that a movie worth watching comes out! It was a cool experience that I will never forget!

The sound, the picture by far the best movie theater we have in the high desert. I love this place it’s a little out of way, but that’s ok because it’s never too crowded and always a pleasant movie experience.

Very next evening me and my eldest daughter came back too see and finish the movie we couldnt see the previous day due too rude movie goers… The staff and management were on top of there game and made their presence known great job definately be back again.

Went to this theater on August 9th, 2015 to see Dragonball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. Hadn’t been here in a while as the service was horrible before, the light bulb was burnt out on a movie projector, it was just bad. So I decided to try it again.
What a difference.
The lobby was clean, well lit and full of upcoming movie banners, the concession cashiers were excellent, the theater itself was clean. The theater was sold out for this showing, but it was well worth it. The theater handled the space wonderfully, and helped everyone find a seat.
A great experience, I will be back!

This theatre has friendly customer service is always clean never too packed and popcorns bomb. Prefer this place over Cinemark Jess Ranch. This is our theatre of choice in the HD luckily we live in AV.

Love this place. They don’t have the ‘no outside food’ Gestapo like the mall theater (be discreet though). Tuesdays and Thursdays are cheap tickets.

Have been to this theater many times, but my most recent visit was because I won free tickets from a local radio station. The ticket for the mommy and me showing of divergent but, was unable to take my 6 yr to the showing because it is rated pg 13. Spoke with a manager on the phone. He was so friendly and helpful and told me that I could come later in the day and it would be free. So I come in and the manager that I spoke to on the phone was off for the day and I was told that I could not see the movie I won tickets for but I could see any other movie «even a movie that starts at the same time». The manager also told me that she would escort us in the theater but she could lose her job. So we bought tickets to the another movie and proceeded to go in to divergent instead assuming that the manager was telling us to do exactly that. 25 mins in to the movie we were escorted out by the cops. This place is no joke!!! Watch out it could happen to you.

This theater has taken on the personal challenge of running with one or two employees. Get your popcorn, tickets and ushered all at once. Wait extended periods while there’s only two other customers in the lobby. Have them forget items on your order while not putting the points on your rewards card because they already pushed the button. It’s all about the customer right?

Staff is friendly and the place is hardly ever crowded. Which may be a bad sign when it’s apparent they can’t afford ushers to clean the auditoriums during the week. I hope the managers don’t feel like they are above picking up some trash in an auditorium, especially if it’s during the week of a new released film. A dirty theatre displays poor work ethic, and it’s extremely disheartening to your valued guests.

I was very excited at first when this movie theater opened in Apple Valley. The price are cheaper and they have flavored popcorn other then that I ‘m not too impressed. The seats are so uncomfortable, after thirty minutes of a movie my back begins to hurt and I just want to leave. The staff is okay.

Saw the Untouchables here because we wanted to try the D-​Box Motion seats. The theater is large, clean and the seats were a nice attraction, although I wouldn’t pay extra to experience them again. For me, they were one of those things that you try once just to say you did. :)
No lines… although the theater is huge, it wasn’t even close to being crowded.

This is absolutely my favorite theater in the High Desert. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is courteous, it is always clean, and the prices are cheaper than CineMark.

D-​Box was an interesting experience. You gotta do it at least once.

Ultra-​Star came to Apple Valley ahead of its time. The investment made into an all digital system for so many screens, the technological foresight to add D-​Box and the classy customer service of this place has stolen all my Ontario movie watching and brought it home to the desert.
I have never had a problem with a dirty theater, sticky floor, or unkempt restroom here. The lobby could use some seating for those with disabilities, but it is spacious and colorful.
If you haven’t purchased a D-​Box seat, it’s like a movie-​long roller coaster ride and I encourage everyone to try it at least once.
I appreciate the midnight showings of movies in a safe atmosphere.
This is hands-​down the best theater in the High Desert.

Its one of my favorite theaters then making a trip down to Ontario, its clean, smells good well smells like nothing which is a great instead of smelling old food or other scents.
Its comfortable and the surround system is great!
:) I enjoy movies a lot, I am one of the biggest movie nerd there is.

This is my favorite theater in the High Desert. They usually have great hours in how often a movie runs during the day. Parking is great. The rooms are hardly full each time we go so I don’t even worry about a show possibly being sold-​out. Staff members are friendly and there is a free refill on large popcorn and drinks.
A big bonus to this theater is that it’s one of the 20 in the state (at the time of this review) to offer D-​Box seats. The tickets will cost a bit extra, but it’s worth it when going to see an action-​packed movie. They have demo seats at the entrance so you can sit down and try them out before deciding which tickets to get. (If you’re worried about motion sickness, there’s a control on the seat to lower the intensity level or to just turn it off entirely.)

It’s what I want in a movie theatre.
I want to see a movie. Pay a decent price and not worry about anything else. That’s what I get at Ultra Star Apple Valley.
I can always find a place to park. The lines aren’t crazy long. The place is clean. They have friendly, helpful staff.
I’ve taken groups of up to 10 people, done midnight showings, gone a various times of the day. Always a good experience.
