Ninja Sushi

This place is our favorite up in the High Desert. We never bother with anything else, except the all you can eat menu. I personally would give this place a 4 star review, however, my wife and kids think otherwise. It’s no «Sushi Gen», like down in Little Tokyo, but we still like it. The servers sometimes become a little overwhelmed, but they still deliver. The Sashimi is pretty fresh, and beer is pretty cold.

I just called and they do not take reservations. If they did I would rate it ⁵⁄₅ because this place is amazing and always packed!

Amazing Food but extremely terrible service. Very rude and slow with offering any help. Cheap prices and good food really are the only thing that make it worth the visit.

Small gem. This place is so so soo good. We are not sushi connoisseur but we have been to several different spots up here in the high desert as well as down the hill. None of them have gotten close to how delicious their sushi is. We were happily surprised.
I really like their food but seriously their customer service is lacking, changes should be made. Im still giving it five stars though.

$ 250.00 of business you lost on New Year’s Eve from my party. Your waitresses have the worst customer service skills I’ve seen in a long time. My wife called a couple hours before 530 pm to make a reservation for 12 people. The lady on the phone said you guys don’t take reservations but the restaurant closed at 8. Which was a lie. It closes at 9 on New Year’s Eve (there was a sign on your font door.). We arrived and was told by a waitress, they won’t be able to even take our order for an hour because the restaurant is backed up. The restaurant was not even half full and the waitress staff was standing around. What made this situation a situation she had an attitude. An attitude of she didn’t want want to serve a party of 12. Why turn away business? I’m guessing this is a business that doesn’t like to make money. Well the night turned out fine because we found a competing restaurant, down the street that was happy to take our business. Fire your waitress staff because they lost you business and will continue too if they turn away customers like that by lying.

Yes I did and I’m sorry it took so long to reply. I’m really sorry about what happened on New Years eve, the restaurant got slammed early on that day and did not anticipate it being so busy. Unfortunately, we had to close a little early because we ran out of many menu items. I would like you to come back as a customer and I will take off half your bill. I am a very understanding person. I also understand things happen where a business is unable to run properly. What I don’t understand is why did the waitress tell my party of 12, rudely she can’t take our order for another hour? She told us this multiple times. Anyways, by the look of majority of their reviews is their food is great but their customer service lacks. Makes perfect sense.

Pros:
— There’s a happy hour for the rolls (50% off)
— Large portions
— Tempera was decent, not greasy
— they have low sodium shoyu
Cons:
— Their «chirashi» is more like a few sad cuts of fish over plain, dry rice
— They over sauce their rolls
— No waiting area
— We waited about 25 minutes and it took them 7 minutes to clear an empty table
— Overall atmosphere is unpleasant for dinner
— the servers are inattentive
— too much crab in their rolls
Summary:
I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone. Terrible food quality, poor service, unpleasant atmosphere, and poorly trained staff.

I’m so glad to have found this gem! It’s a longer drive out of my way but the taste is absolutely amazing. The chefs are hilarious and engaging. If you haven’t stopped by yet, you should!

Love this place! The Sushi & Rolls are Half-​off all day for Happy Hour! Plus they have beer specials and sake bomb specials! The Sushi Chefs are awesome… Craig, Alex, Beung!
Try everything, it’s all good! Especially the Ninja Roll… mmm tempura asparagus.
The Service is very friendly and as fast as they can be, as they get very busy during the evenings.

I will warn you that the service does get
backed up a bit but I don’t blame them for
the room is very small. It is well worth the
wait once you get your food.

For the prices and delicious sushi —
I would say you’re not going to get a
better deal anywhere near as good as
Ninja Sushi.

I was craving some sushi and haven’t really tried any sushi spots in the area so I decided to do a fast search which took me to another place first but that place was about to close at 9:30 so I searched again and found out Ninja sushi stayed open until 10:30pm so I headed up the road to give it a try.
I arrived, sat at the bar, checked out the menu, ordered some rolls and a beer. It has a real welcoming vibe, seems like a lot of the customers are locals who know the staff pretty well.
Service was fast, before I finished my first glass of beer my rolls were ready. Some of the locals were taking sake bombs with the sushi chefs and they even offered me one, so how can I say no?
Finished my rolls and decided to get in one more, the chef even threw in some smelt eggs on my roll so I could give it a try. It was a nice touch
Price was very affordable, I ordered 3 rolls and a 32oz beer and I was surprized at how rather inexpensive it was. Decided to leave a good tip to show my appreciation
Think I will definitely be back again. Thanks to the staff for making this a good experience. See you again soon

Called and ordered large sashimi platter for pick up for 7pm. Called it in around 6pm. It wasn’t ready on time. Waited half an hr more for it.
