Khademi Ali, DO

I have had Crohns Disease for 14 years. Prior to seeing Dr Khademi, I had been taking Humira injections to keep my Crohns in remission, which had been working wonderfully for years. Mind you, I had tried every possible medication for my Crohns over a 14 year span and found that I had the most success with Humira. Instead of prescribing what I know works for me, Dr Khademi put me on an ulcerative colitis medication and insisted this was a better option. Probably because, as a previous Unilocaler had suggested, he was getting some sort of financial kickback for prescribing this medication. I’ve now been on it for 5 months and my gastrointestinal health couldn’t possibly be worse. In addition, I have been in the emergency room no less than once every single month since I started seeing Dr Khademi for GI related ailments. As I’m sure others with digestive problems can agree, I can feel when there is some sort of imbalance starting. So I call Dr Khademi. His office staff either doesn’t deliver the message or Dr Khademi just doesn’t care enough to return calls. I called EVERY SINGLE DAY for 6 days and sent 3 different emails to the doctor and he never responded to any of them. The messages I had left were very urgent and I made sure the office staff was aware of its importance. Then, upon being seen in the emergency room (mind you, this is not the first or even the fifth time this has happened), even the ER doctors were unable to get a call back from Dr Khademi. When I need to be seen by the doctor urgently, I am never able to obtain an appointment with him any sooner than 6 weeks. I have now been admitted to the hospital 3 times in the past 5 months for GI related conditions because Dr Inconsiderate can’t even take the time to call me back, order labs, or prescribe proper medications. I’ve seen many gastroenterologists in my day and I have NEVER met such a heartless, unprofessional physician. Dr Khademi does NOT live by the «do no harm» mantra that all physicians are supposed to follow. At one point, I asked the doc to please refer me for a fecal transplant (which I am the perfect candidate for) to which he responded «Well let’s just wait to see if you get sick again. Because finding a doctor to do that procedure for you would take a lot of time and research in MY spare time and I wouldn’t know where to send you». So I did all the legwork and found the doctors who could perform the procedure. And did Dr Khademi hold up his end of the deal and make the referral? Absolutely not.
I wholeheartedly advise anyone who is considering making Dr Khademi their gastroenterologist to find another doctor. ANYONE is better than this shmuck. I’d be curious to know how many formal complaints or lawsuits have been launched against him for his profound negligence.
I repeat: Do NOT go to Dr Khademi especially if you value your health or need someone to take the time to thoroughly evaluate your health history. Just be prepared for him to throw some BS medication your way and tell you that you need yet another colonoscopy. It’s all about the money with this guy. Nothing more.

He is not at all good. Keeps you waiting 1hour 40mins, while he goes and comes back from lunch.
Drugs didn’t work .
I was fully awake during procedure, he tried to ram tube down throat twice. He then left room without any chat or direction.
I would never recommend anyone to him.

I should have sued for malpractice! I’m just not the suing type!
I have ulcerative colitis Dr Khademi thought I had Crohns and I was proscribing me Crohns meds costing $ 400 a month! Then he also prescribed me on some other medication, which I think he was getting kick backs. When I went to the pharmacy to go pick it up I had the pharmacist come frantically running out to me afraid for my life! The meds he prescribed me to take combined would have killed me! I ended up in the ER puking like someone possessed! He also kept having me have procedure after procedure without giving me any feedback and just flat out seemed to not know what he was doing! Dr. Khademi’s staff also doesn’t seem to know what they are doing. I can’t tell you how many times I had to keep calling them because they didn’t send my prescriptions in when they said they did.
I finally found Dr. Linda Miller where she diagnosed me properly and now I’m finally in remission! :)

If I could give zero stars I would!

I had a very unpleasant experience in attempting to receive care for my 17 year old son from Dr. Khademi. His office staff was unable to find test results from my primary care giver, so Dr. Khademi ordered tests we had already done. Dr. Khademi also ordered additional new stool testing, but refused to discuss the results unless my son underwent a colonoscopy. I’m extremely unhappy that the Dr. is still withholding test results a month after we had them done. Frankly, I don’t have the confidence in his practice to risk the surgery. I will find a new gastroenterologist.
