From my understanding, a festival will always be crowded, but here was too crowded. It was like getting in-line for rides at Disneyland & Disneyworld, but instead of rides, it is food-stands. In fact, it was so crowded that I got lost from my sister and her friend and there were hardly any sits open. Think of it like a horde of zombies just lurking around center, around you. I seriously almost suffocate myself from these crowds. Not to mention, the food weren’t that great for the given price. It was seriously overpriced in ever way. For instance, I had 6 Takoyaki for about $ 6. It cost $ 1 each, really? I had 8 Takoyaki for $ 4 and it tasted way better than here at 626 Night Market. I’m sorry, but save yourself some trouble and don’t go here. If you’re here for experience, well, it won’t be that great unless you like crowds, party, loud music, and people staring at you. And this is from my subjective view. Objectively, it get’s a 3 stars out of 5 because as a night market, it provides the necessities and the appropriates, but some aren’t up to the level of getting 5 or 4 stars. Here are some facts: –Overcrowds –Overpriced –Fairly clean restrooms –Almost non-existence sitting place –Loud noise/music –Variety food stands, but mostly Asian food –Medium to long waiting lines –Street vendors as in toys, art, games, music, accessories, and many misc. –Customer Service: It got its’ up and downs –People(guests) who are here can be rude, such as not saying excuse me and just shove or push you away just so that they can walk a path because it was so damn crowded Final Verdict: I wouldn’t recommend going, but if you never ever been to a night market, it’s worth experiencing it, but I simply would go to a different night market that isn’t overcrowded. Comment: Perhaps, my problem here was the overcrowded people because it was seriously crowded. I can understand Disneyland for being crowded, but at least, that place is huge compare to the night market. The night market is as big as a high school size not including the fields. Basically, imagine your high school without buildings, but with street vendors and food stands instead. Anywhere, in such a small area like that, about more than 10,000 people are coming in and out of there. It’s as if it is Black Friday all over again.

Overrated rip off! Here’s what to expect: Bring cash. Tickets are usually about $ 3 per person to get in. Expect large crowds(worse when it is during the summer heat). Expect long lines for mediocre food. Expect to pay at least $ 10 for each meal at each food stand. The popular food stands are at least a 30 minute wait and popular items will run out fast. There are few to no tables to sit down at. You are basically standing or sitting on the curbs with your dinner boxes if you are lucky to find a curb to sit down at. It is very disorganized. I’ve seen carnivals organized better than this night market. Plus, good luck finding parking. You will be fighting other people for spots. Save yourself the effort and time and find a nice sit-down restaurant. If you want quality food, go to the local Chinese restaurants in San Gabriel Valley or Rowland Heights. You will probably pay less and save yourself the hassle. I would rather wait on line at the restaurants than at the 626 night market. If you really want good night market food, then buy a plane ticket and fly to Asia. P. S. The fried soft shell crab barely has any crab meat in it.

This event has improved greatly from the first 626 market I attended so long ago. The venue is great and can accommodate the hoards of people wanting to attend the event, there’s parking and bathrooms and ATM machines and variety of vendors. Funny enough, if you want to park a little closer, you can pay a small fee(I did just because I’m LIKETHAT.). Free parking otherwise, but you’ll have to walk further. A mark of a well run event– not a lot of trash everywhere and pop up cardboard trash bins everywhere, that are frequently changed out– this is how far 626 market has come and I’m all for it. 3 dollar admission fee at the door, not bad. I suggest you go early, as lines for the most popular stuff get long. I would say, skip the ramen burger — it’s ramen formed into the bun for a burger patty, the novelty is not worth a 45 minute wait in line. Otherwise, in general — for the food and stuff to do — I don’t live in the SGV so I’m all for having all the foods I want to eat in one place, being grilled or made in front of me. Prices could be better from the vendors — I end up spending a good amount of money to try different things that maybe were a tad too pricey(fried shrimp on a stick — 2 of them for like 6 dollars, perhaps I could have spent 6 dollars more wisely). I got a fun soft serve horn — soft serve vanilla ice cream in a horn shaped cone — heh, it was tasty. Fun to check out the vendors and their wares. If you haven’t gone I’d definitely go at least once to see what it’s all about, and maybe go with a group so you can try/share more things without going completely broke.

I love going to the 626 Night Market every year in the summer! The different Asian fusion foods and things they sell there are pretty cool. It’s a place to try new foods that you haven’t had before. I always get takoyaki, onigiri, ice cream macaron sandwiches, frostbite, and at least one different type of drink. I went with spiked’s strawberry lemonade. It was freshing and the jar was really cute. The downside is the long lines and the weather. Since it is in the summer, it does get quite hot. There isn’t much shade around.

I am a little late, but the 626 Night market was a lot of fun. It’s free parking, but make sure to come a little earlier then dinner time to avoid the lines. We came around 3:50ish and we spent a hour eating and looking around before the crowd came in. Around 6PM, there were so many people in line and waiting for food. We were really glad we came early. There are local art vendors, bands and musicians that perform throughout the night.

This is 626 Night Market, and wow, this place is massively large! If you are looking to feast on Asian food, this is the place to go! However, be prepared to walk as the place is large and there are many things to see and eat. It seems to go on during the summer three to four times a year and there is a ton of people that come to this event. There is a very cheap entrance fee of $ 3 per person(CASHONLY!) which I am sure nobody minds paying. In addition, bring cash if possible, as some stands will not accept credit cards. What I would suggest if possible is to go to this«Night Market» before night actually hits. Coming here earlier if possible will avoid lines to many of the popular food stands(i.e. Ramen Burger). There is a multitude of appetizers, dishes, desserts, drinks, and etc. to have here. The variety goes from burgers, noodles, ramen, dumplings, rice dishes, meats, fish, vegetarian options, ANDMORE! You will definitely find something you enjoy here from many of the local vendors in the area. A ton of stands are around for dessert too so your sweet tooth craving will be fulfilled. One thing to lookout for is if you are not used to the smell of stinky tofu. Some stands do sell it and the initial smell may sway away some people in certain areas. Just be ready for it and do not be surprised by the smell! Other than the food, there is a stage area for music, carnival games, along with an area with some shopping booths and stands. There are a ton of Asian-type merchants with a variety of things for sale. You can definitely spend a lot of time here to eat, go around the rest of the night market, and eat AGAIN before you leave! I do wish they had a huge Night Market like this in the NYC area, as I would definitely come to it! Maybe I will be lucky and my next trip to the LA area will be at the same time as the 626 Night Market!

I really enjoy coming here because there’s so much eye-candy(both food & people) & a great way to hang-out. There’s something for everyone! Too bad they don’t have this in the Bay Area =(There’s free parking, but this market is SUPER packed during prime times. Good idea to come in a group and have people go to different booths and take everyone’s order to cover more ground and not waste time. If you go too late, many booths sell out. Most places are cash only so be sure to bring enough! There are a few portable ATMS on-site but there’s usually a line(plus they don’t look very secure). Some places started packing up by 11PM so make your decisions quickly if you come around that time or later. $ 3 admission(cash only) *~A Few Things We Ordered~* 2015 Giant Squid: $ 13 Regular Dirt Ice Cream Pot: $ 5 Takoyaki: $ 6 Oxtail Hot Dog: $ 9 Watermelon Slush Cup: $ 4 A-sha Original Dry Taiwanese Noodle: $ 6 Oxtail Hot Dog didn’t have large chunks of meat and just tasted like a hot dog with chili on top. My BF said it was bad and was upset with it. The Ice Cream Pot was very whimsical & fun, but the ice cream itself wasn’t any special & not that creamy. BF really liked the dirt tho. Takoyaki was pretty good but a bit too much air. BF really like the A-sha noodles and now constantly buys packs of them. I was super excited when I read about a Studio Ghilbi Tribute at the market(in 2015). However, the tribute was just a few booths selling artwork. Extremely disappointing. :/

Go at 4PM to avoid massive lines, summer heat, and the people mountain people sea! That’s really the biggest tip I have. I brought some international friends since this is a good opportunity to try some trendy places in the area(as the 626 is now a food hub). There is an entry fee of $ 3/person. You can get a prize once you enter from the Unilocal booth(must check in on Unilocal). There is a coupon sheet you can buy for $ 1, which you can make worth it. Check the fine print though! Some places require you to buy 1 to get 1 free from the coupon, and some places ask you to buy a minimum first. It’s good to walk through to see what you’d like to eat. The vendors all have a limited menu so that people can sample what they have to offer. The most popular place was ramen burger(super short line at 4PM!). Things were a bit overpriced… expected of fair-type vendoring, but I’m still disappointed! I wanted the potato swirls but it’s not worth $ 6 – 10! I forgot the vendors but these are some of the things my friends and I got: — potted ice cream — the vendor was A MESS, and only one person handing food and cash. by the time we got our ice cream(it was a buy one get one coupon) it was melted. not worth. — garlic crab fries — yum — fried fish — yum We also got drinks from various places. They were a bit lukewarm. Overall, the food was super fried, the day was super hot, but this was a good experience to chill with friends. Towards the night we were able to stroll in cooler weather and look at art and search for freebies.

**kenzie no likey walking** If you know me be now, you know that kenzie no likey walking. That said, I did not enjoy myself here. It is definitely for true foodies but seriously, you can only eat so much. I rather just go to the restaurant and sit down and eat and have a nice meal rather than going to an overcrowded unorganized food fair and stand 2 hours in line. It seems pointless if I have to starve waiting in lines for a overpriced meal. I don’t understand the hype?! Maybe I’m just negative? Maybe I just don’t like crowds, standing in long lines, waiting for food. If you don’t mind this, then come and check it out next year! **Parking is FREE. They said you would have to pay for closer parking but I came at around 5pm and the free parking was close enough like three rows to the entrance. Of course if you came late, you will have to park far. And I noticed people coming in when I left. Good luck with getting food THAT late! Everything runs out pretty early. That is another con. Even though I came fairly early, food still ran out pretty fast. And this was in the end of summer time so it was HOT. ;( Most of these foods are available outside of this event in the San Gabriel area. But I guess if you want it all in one place, then check it out. It’s fun with your friends but wear comfie shoes and bring lots of MULAH. CASH. DINERO. Comprende?! I don’t even know if that is really a word. :| Thanks for reading! :) ~*kenzie*!

Had to experience it for myself. I personally feel like Off the Grid has more variety with its types of foods(Indian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, American… etc) but 626 Night Market is definitely much bigger and is more focused on Asian food(pretty obvious since it is in 626). They had very unique food at this market, but none of which settled in my stomach very well. The first thing I tried were the phở tacos. This was when I was in a taco phase and had a taco every day that week. That was my 6th time getting tacos that week. A little hesitant on trying it because phở tacos… literally what are those? Surprisingly the best thing I ate! It tasted exactly like phở. It was both weird and cool at the same time. Next thing I tried was this spam corn dog whose skin was made of waffle and dipped in seaweed. Thought it sounded good, but it wasn’t. I definitely started feeling sick after this one. Crab garlic fries were pretty good. HAD to get myself the light up lemonade, mmm! Lastly, I got this vanilla ice cream on a cone that was shaped like a J where you could basically eat it on both ends. The cone was made out of corn. It tasted like the ice cream at McDonald’s. The food combo I had chosen to eat this day was such a bad mix. I felt so nauseous/sick afterwards. but eh, I’ll still be back to try other things! I’ll be a little more careful next time.heh. You’re in for a surprise when you see what your«free Unilocal swag item» is after you check in and go to the booth to claim it… I sure was…

So I’m stupid late writing this but like I’ve mentioned before. I write all my reviews in order and my ass is way behind HaHa… SO! I go out with this guy once in a blue moon but when we go out we have a ton of fun. He asked me what I wanted to do and I mentioned the Night market, I almost changed my mind because I didn’t want to deal with a clusterfuck especially it being the last day of the summer’s Night market. But he insisted, so let’s go!!! We had a small trek and at first we were going to park at one of the medical parking lots but that was horrendous and ultimately a dumb ass idea because we ended up parking in the lot of the race track and parking was plentiful and a lot closer to the gates SMHLOL. We walked over to the ticket booth and the lines moved pretty fast, so I’m thinking not bad not bad. But once you got through it was clusterfuck central UGH. I wish I had an adult size children’s harness because I could easily get lost in the sea of people HAHA. I have to applaud them for having a ton of booths to choose from. We had a lot of ground to cover and I needed to make sure my stomach can handle all this food porn! I barely scratched the surface but I did great for it being my first market. We ate lamb belly skewers(my personal favorite,) cold soba noodles, grilled oysters, boba tea, beef skewers, chili cheese waffle corn dog(OMG second favorite!!!,) grilled lobster, lobster mac and cheese, elote and waffles. I’m surprised that I didn’t get sick but with some places having lines, it was easy to digest in between Scooby snacks ;) The crowds went from rude to bearable LOL. I really hate people who bump into you with no excuse me or when someone breathes down my back in line and oh there were a few shady asses cutting lines o_O. Every one we encountered at the booths were nice and the food portions were great for the price point. My date really thought The crinkled dog booth wasn’t going to be good but that chili cheese waffle dog was excellent. I want one so bad. I also looked all over for Lobsterdamus and my taste buds were satisfied with their half lobster. I should have ordered a whole, it was only 20 bucks and a half was 12. I really wanted a ramen burger but that line was waaaaaay to long! I regret missing the sharwma booth, that shit looked gooooooood just spinning slowly on the spit GRRRRRR. I really enjoyed myself at this night market. Only thing that I hated, was the bathroom was so far away from the actual festivities. You had to walk up that long ass ramp. So make sure you don’t have a weak bladder. Other than that, I had one of the best times on a date and I can’t wait to go back again and again and again. I’ll need to, to slay all those booths!!!

Song Parody #500 Review 1,323 Unilocal 1002015 Review #76 I like it when a woman is not afraid to eat and not afraid to break conformity of being very thin. I respect that and encourage those who like food, to eat it, food was made to be eaten.(I am a hypocrite because I am on a weight loss program, but oh well) I like when diversity and small business can come together and display what they have to offer, so I appreciate the efforts put toget for the 626 Night Market. My 500th review begins in my ancestral town of Mexicali, we lived next to, what was at one time, the biggest Chinatown outside of China. Both my parents worked at Chinese food restaurants at one point in their life. Fast forward hundreds of years to 2015, here I am. The 626 Night Market is quite a happening, this was my very first time. Thank you to Niki S for being my guide and to my nephew, his first Unilocal event(not official, and not a Unilocal event, but still) The parking on a Friday night around 6 was easy. When we left around 9ish, the parking lot was full. Traffic was not too bad. The event was crowded but not as bad as I had expected. The Ramen Burger line was way too long, they need to have two lines next year, if possible. The concert was nice, the acts seemed new and refreshing but the talent was there. Pitch was nice, vocal quality was good, the stage and production was good too. The diversity of food, organizations, games, small businesses’s and developing businesses was good to see. I am not 100% sure how to rate this event, the ultimate and true judgement of this event would be the individual opinion and experience of all the people who attended. I enjoyed it and did not have too much bad to say except the process of exiting after the event, the prices of the food and the difficulty of the for-prizes-games. I will be back next year. Unilocal Check-In Offer: Free swag! This was my first time going to a night market and my experience was awesome! Admission costs $ 3 but make sure you come early because parking can be really annoying and there will be long lines! One might say — why spend all that money on food? Well, food is good! But there’s also other vendors besides food. There’s accessories, artwork, etc that you can take a look around. It’s great for killing time to wait for some of the lines to die down and also to work up your appetite in between getting food! We got so many snacks such as takoyaki, blue crab burger, and some drinks in glass bottles that have lit up ice cubes! Pretty neat! Lines were long but well worth it. In addition, my bf got me 2 awesome artworks! I will definitely hang those up once I get some frames for my place. Overall, a great place to mingle and eat. Just be careful when you’re parking. Even though it’s free, I do wish they would implement more lighting in the parking area. Some drivers AND pedestrians can be pretty dumb; so watch out for yourself as you’re maneuvering through the dark parking lot.

626 Night Market is a legitimately fun and delicious experience. See pictures of the items we had our hands free to take to see how we pigged out. I’m feeling pretty bummed I caught the last day only of this year’s extravaganza. Tips and notes(for next year): 1. Go on an empty stomach! 2. If going before sunset, wear sunscreen, a cap… whatever you need to shield yourself from the sun. 3. Bring a bottle of water or buy one. No matter how much watermelon juice, lemonade or milk tea you buy to consume, you’ll want that water. 4. Bring a tote or something to hold your empty mason jars from the drinks buy and finish. Heck, bring some gallon-sized Ziploc bags, too, for leftover food. We ended up just tossing what we couldn’t finish all of because we didn’t want to hold it. 5. Bring Wet Ones to wipe your hands. I saw there was one sink here but it was stuck in a corner somewhere out of sight. Napkins from the food vendors don’t take away the stickiness. 6. If you don’t want to wait in long lines, get there by 4 or 4:30pm. By the time we left at 7pm, you could hardly move through the crowd! Warning: Ramen Burger line was always long and it smelled sooooooo good but I just couldn’t bear standing still the sun that long. 7. There’s «preferred» parking for $ 5 which brings you closer to the entrance. Not parking there meant an extra 2– to 5-minute walking. Easy. Free parking for me, please. 8. Pass on buying the $ 1 map unless you want their coupons or plan on more than one visit during the same summer. That map went straight into my purse and not seen again until I got home. 9. It takes about 3 hours to see and eat your way through. And we were moving quickly because we wanted to get out there because it was so hot. 10. I have few tips about non-food vendors because nothing really stood out to me as interesting. Better luck next year.

3.5*** Over the years, 626 night market has grown sooooo much. Mad props on their growing success. :) Past years, I’ve been behind the scenes helping out for a great vendor, but this year I was able to fully experience the night market experience. YAAAAY. But boy, was it CRAZY. Definitely do expect HUGE crowd, expect LONGLINES, expect CROWDED streets to the point where you can barely walk, SO don’t complain.(it’s kinda fun and all part of the experience LMAO) And if you get pushed… push them back, NO, don’t do that i’m totally kidding, DON’T DOTHAT! You should know it’s a great event packed with a ton of people. If you’re claustrophobic, don’t come at peak time(duuhh), instead come around the time it opens around 4? or 5? I honestly, don’t even remember heehee, but info’s on their website! Food: TOOONS of variety, is it overpriced… yes and no, depending on the vendor, but hey it’s business and some things I have to admit are pretty worth the money + wait and some things aren’t. But it’s for the experience yknow? :) For me… it’s for instagram LMAO(kidding. just a little) There’s also a ton of food trucks to choose from! They also have beer stands all around the venue and they pass out samples of frozen Kirin some times too! Retail: Fashion Jewelry, Phone Cases, Clothing, small little boutiques and so much more and also at a great price. :) Next up, hit up the stage to watch some performances and let your food settle down. After go hit up for more food. Parking: ISHECTICLOL Freeeee but $ 5 for close parking WHAT? whyyy can’t it be first come first serve, but i guessssssss. Entrance fee: $ 3 faiirrrrrr Bring Cash, it’s a small business, be considerate ^__^ Overall, yeah I’d recommend this event, but it’s more like a once or twice a year thing for me! Expaaanddd moreeeeee if ya’ll can :)

Definitely arrive early to avoid waiting in LONG lines for food! At 4:30, I went to Lazy Bear for the cute and tasty crab curry rice bowl and there were just a couple of orders in prior to mine. By the time I got my order(which wasn’t too long of a wait), there was a line forming for this food booth. The later it got, the more crowded it was at the Night Market. The hubby and I went to Ruby’s Kitchen for poke and we were not disappointed! We tried tea samples from D-Lish Tea(next to D-Lish Waffles) and ended up choosing the ginger mint green tea. The tastebuds were happy! The 626 Night Market is definitely a must-do experience!

When my boyfriend went… he said he had a terrible time… HOWEVER, I had a great time! It was very, very hot… I will say that. Coming early to beat the crowd is a great strategy, but be prepared to roast in the sun(also, despite being open at 4PM, most of the booths weren’t even ready or had any food when we got there… sorry, you just lost out on customers). It can get a bit overwhelming. As the night went on, the sea of people just got thicker and thicker. Luckily, because we came right at 4, we were pretty much finished as the crowd was getting bad. Coming at 4, we were almost always the only one in line, or just 1 – 2 people behind. This meant we never waited more than 5 minutes before our food was ready. Some of the food was hit or miss, but the experience was great. I will have to say, it can get real pricey. Word of advice, pace yourself. I inhaled everything, and after just 1 hour there… I had to tap out. Will definitely come back again and again so I can try all the different foods. P. S. Look for the Kirin booth near the main stage and get yourself a free frozen beer! Definitely helped to cool me down

PROTIP: Bring lots of cash, sometimes there’s soooo many people that the square machines stop working because data sucks so bad and/or some vendors only accept cash. If you’re not about lines then you should avoid coming Saturday evening when the sun goes down because that’s when the asians come out and it’s like a sea of people you won’t be able to find your way through or get all the good food you want to get. What I’ve had: (I forgot which vendor but it’s a taiwanese place?) **but lamb skewers! If you like lamb, you have to get them and also the cold chili noodles are really good and the oyster pancake! Main Squeeze — They always sell out so get here early! Their lemonade is super refreshing amazing to have with all your favorite savory goodies. The watermelon lemonade or the chili mango lemonade are by far my favorite drinks to get at the 626 Night Market. Snow House Tea Bar — I tried Snow House for the first time at the night market and got their Strawberry Marble drink and it is. so. good. It tastes like shaved snow in a cup, they recommend that you don’t mix it and just drink it as is. Fruitology — Go support my friends at Fruitology and get healthy fresh squeezed mixed fruit juices like mango passion fruit and strawberry mint which are my favorites. They come in adorable long and slim mason jars that have flashing lights in them that are super fun as well. Takoyaki — I love takoyaki! The wasabi drizzle takoyaki is really good and there were a few other ones that I’ve tried that are super yummy as well. Garlic Crab Fries/Pork Belly Fries — Technically, I’m allergic to shellfish but when it comes to these amazing garlic crab fries I’m willing to risk it to have them lol. Yes, they are that good. Frach’s — Fried ice cream?! My favorite! I’ve tried basically every flavor, but the one I love most has to be the one with the brownie cake outer layer and vanilla ice cream inside. So moist, so good. What Floats Your Boat — This is a great deal to get and share with friends. The poke musubi is my favorite one out of all three in the boat and it has hot cheetos on top. whaaat, bomb. LotzaTots — Uni cream tots? Say no more. Get ‘em. Funnel cake and fried oreos — okay, it’s an asian night market, but I can’t say no to fried oreos and funnel cake. I just can’t. The fat girl inside me says yes. Samurai burrito truck — The poke nachos are super fully loaded with a ton of poke, furikake, onions, krab meat and it’s soo good. The big portion is great to get and share with friends. Harmony Tea Bar — Pretty standard boba but post a pic to IG or FB and get free boba with purchase of tea. Ridges Churro Bar — The almond churro and ice cream made my day. Literally. I still want to try the strawberry cheesecake and fruity pebbles one.

My first time at the 626 night market and it was a blast! I came around 5 P.M. on a Saturday evening. It was $ 3 for admissions; if you want to park closer then its $ 5, but if you can walk a little further then its free! Near the entrance are a bunch of tents selling merchandises. The sun was still beaming down so it wasn’t crowded at all. I was able to try the following: –garlic crab fries: delicious! Real crab meat with white garlic cream sauce on a bed of fries. $ 10 –uni ceviche: they are fresh and opened right in front of you. The uni meat is huge & sweet. It was my favorite at the market. $ 12 –fresh strawberry lemonade: refreshing & fresh; comes in a mason jar; $ 7. –musubi boat: what floats ur boat! Duck, poke, & bulgogi style! $ 11 –lobster mac n cheese: seafood shack; lobster pieces and really good flavor! $ 9 I wanted to try other things but I was full. Next time I’ll try Spiked, yakitori, & ramen burger.

General Info: — Free Parking in the lot — $ 5 for closer parking — $ 3 admission There were a lot more selections and new vendors this summer. The lines were decent and I was able to try what I wanted without too much of a wait. D06: Ice Cream Garden: Potted ice cream $ 6(vanilla ice cream with Oreo crumbs) You’re mainly paying for the presentation… It tasted as to be expected. D19: Jar Headz: Fruit water $ 6 Since everything was about the same price, getting a mason jar with a handle to take home wasn’t too bad. Lemonade was so-so. E02: Tea Bar Starry: Taiwanese chicken steak $ 7 Giant chicken steak made fresh to order. So juicy, so good! :D E23: Wei’s scallion pancakes: Cripsy Pork Bun $ 6(Koah Pau) Forget the pancake and get the crispy pork bun. I don’t know how they managed but I only saw one guy in the back working the deep fryer. Although the wait was a drag. The bun was totally worth it! You can also take it to go. E28: Green Cube Tofu: Deep fried stinky tofu $ 5 For stinky tofu lovers, this is the only one that sits in the corner! Just by the smell alone, you know it’s authentic! Best stinky tofu I’ve had. F25: OK-Korokkay: Spinach Cheese $ 5& Lobster Mac & Cheese croquette $ 8 As suspected you don’t get much lobster but it was still enjoyable and the toppings were free.(Nacho cheese, grape tomato, bacon, green onion, parmesan, & masago) F41 Hotato Potato: Potato Swirl $ 6 Looks like there are 3 – 4 other potato stick vendors this year. All the lines were pretty long but I still enjoy the seasoning options here. F48: Quenelle: Funelle Cake(funnel cake ice cream sandwich) The Funelle cake is crispy and savory. It taste much better than the macaron ice cream sandwiches which stuck to your teeth when you bite. Lobsta Truck: Lobster Roll & Crab Roll $ 12 This beats F49−50 Mu’s Lobster roll $ 13 any day. Sorry but lobsta truck keeps the buns buttered yet not super greasy. The lobster and crab were both seasoned evenly and not overpowering. Mu’s lobster roll consisted more of lobster claw and tasted plain. The lobster bisque was also very good. My personal favorite is still the crab rolls. I’m ready for another round! See you guys next month! :D

FREE Parking and admission is $ 3.00. Come hungry! You’ll definitely be overwhelmed by so many yummy food and drink choices there. Wow!!! Especially, if you have a favorite vendor in mind, get there quick cuz lines fill up fast!!! Also, for you alcoholics, don’t worry, they got the booze vendors there too, lol! Or if, you really want the hard liquor, you can go up to the Santa Anita Race Track bar. Bring a lot of cash(they also have an ATM there. Food prices range between $ 5 to $ 15 depending on the booth). They also got non-food vendor selling stuff and game vendors for when you need to take a break from eating and drinking, lol!!! Don’t forget the Unilocal Booth(They’re on the left side corner area when you first come in. I chose the Unilocal grocery bag and picked up a plastic hand fan) when you check in to get your free Unilocal swag — got to see and say hi to the lovely Miss Katie B. again :) As for the food and drinks… I ventured to: Bruce Lee Iced Tea: They were giving out samples on my way to the restroom, lol! Light and refreshing, a perfect way to start off my 626 Night Market adventure, heheh! The royal jelly one was pretty good and a favorite of Bruce Lee’s. Miniyaki Fusion Grill — Got 6 Takoyaki Balls for $ 6. They were alright — kinda saturated with too much sauce. The ones I actually wanted to eat were from Tanota Takoyaki booth — they were on the otherside, and by the time I saw them, forget it — the line was already long. Though no worries, Tanota always comes to the Chinese New Year festivals at the Pomona Fairplex and Alhambra. Fruitology: Since I never got to try them in my area cuz their parking lot always get packed with Golden Deli customers. Today, I got to try out their $ 5.00 Strawberry Mint juice with chia seeds. Loved their cute glass corked bottle. The strawberry mint was light and refreshing — and the chopped up infused strawberries were delicious too. Street Food Indonesian: Got to taste the fried calamari that my friend bought. I also got $ 4 medium cup of Almost Paradise — blueberry mint lemonade with a cute umbrella drink with a cherry and slice of lemon. The calamari was yummy and fried nicely. The Almost Paradise was a little too sweet for me. Had it been infused with a little bit of rum or vodka that would’ve helped dial down the sweetness lol! PM Macarons: The macarons — I didn’t buy any. I sampled the Horchata and red velvet and it tasted stale. The girl selling it wasn’t that friendly either — no friendly acknowledgement or anything. Ice Cream Garden: Got me the $ 5 Rocky Road Dirt(Oreo) cup. Adorable presentation with the gummy worm and mint as toppers. The rocky road itself was smooth and creamy and they grind up the Oreos as dirt really fine and it was delicious! Seafood Sunset Catering: I got the $ 9 Lobster Siracha Mac n Cheese that comes with 2 free beignets when bough between their special 4pm to 8pm hour. I digged this booth the most! Loved their mac and cheese. I was hesitant at first since it had Siracha, but thank god, it wasn’t overpowering. Creamy and delicious and the lobster claw was meaty and juicy. Though, I didn’t like the beignets — they sucked. No dough inside. All I ate was greasy air. Even donut balls(at donuts shops) tasted better. Pass on the beignets. Organic Japanese Matcha: Got the $ 5 Americano unsweetened ice green tea. Sadly, this booth wasn’t a fan favorite, and too bad, they should have given out samples to draw more customers. I ended getting a drink here as a way to cleanse my stomach towards the very end, lol… Puffect Macarons: Right before leaving, I saw their booth, yay!!! I drove to their Walnut store before, and loved their cartoon macarons and ended up getting four of them — $ 3 each. I got a Pig(Maple Bacon); Owl(Earl Grey); Eeyore the Donkey(Oreo) and a Minion(Nutella). I would have gotten more, but ran out of money, lol!!! Overall, it was a fun experience I got to try out. Wasn’t much of a fan for the overcrowded lines, but I had in mind, which vendors I wanted to hit up, and which ones to get to first the next time I come back. Definitely worth the return again, yay!
