I really dislike this store. My cousin used to work here and all the employees could get was 10% off the clothes. Their Black Friday sales are 10% off the entire store– really? That’s what you call a Black Friday sale? That barely covers tax in Southern California.
The store itself just sell garbage. The clothes are cheaply manufactured and unfashionable, that’s why they’re so affordable. I only come in because other people make me go in with them and I wander around bored. It’s clean and rather organized but that’s it. I’m surprised this shop has been in business for as long as it has– several years now.
Whatever supplier they buy their clothing from has poor quality control. They’ll sell a bunch of tank tops in a wide selection of colors but you have to be careful when you pick your size. Try one to see if it fits. After that, use that one as your gage for all the other ones because they tag things incorrectly all the time (e.g., Medium when it’s really a Large) because they’re following the sewn tags on the clothes, so it’s not actually the employees’ fault. Then you have to come back to exchange it, where you’ll get attitude from the employees. I don’t think anyone likes working there.
The return policy sucks because there is no return policy. The best you can do is exchange or get store credit with 14 days with original receipt. I hate stores like that. Obviously you run your business like that because you sell garbage and know that people will want to return it, so you have stupid rules like «No returns.»

This store is up to date with fashion trends (clothing wise). All of their items are affordable. I honestly love shopping here more than Forever 21 now. The jewelry however, is a bit tacky. I honestly do not see any one in their right mind wearing the earrings they sell. However, everything else is really cute.
The workers are nice, but honestly, it depends on who is working though. Usually when I shop there, there is one worker who looks and sounds very depressed, as if she doesn’t even want to be there. I honestly can’t stand her, and every time I am in line, I hope to not check out with her.

Last time I wrote this review, it is for the store itself. Now, this review is for those of you who think working at Closet will be cool because you will get a discount (10%) on cute clothes. NO. I advise you, do not apply to work here. I was hired, I worked for a month and I quit. I got to know the workers here and they are amazing friends, but the manager is the reason why I quit. If you want to be treated with no self respect, yelled at often, and work like slaves for $ 8 an hour, well then, be my guest.
