Tea is tea. Sorry, I’m no connoisseur of teas. I ordered the regular size Tropical Tea(~$ 5). It comes with boba, jelly and some bits of fruits. The taste was good, but I don’t know why I got the boba as I’m not really a fan of boba itself. It’s pricey as well, but a good decent drink. Sometimes, they have deals so make sure to keep an eye out for that. I wish I had picked the Matcha Latte as I decided previously since it was a dollar off as well, but ohwells.

The milk tea here is actually pretty good. I got the large 3 buddies(milk tea with boba, grass jelly and pudding). The boba is on the firmer side and chewy, the way I like it. I didn’t really like the grass jelly though, I don’t think it set properly and it was really mushy. My drink was a little under $ 5 after tax so it’s a bit pricey. Parking can also be as bit difficult since it’s a small lot with a lot of other businesses.

We stopped in to get some boba after eating at the Noodle Express. Upon entering, I was assaulted by a strong smell of bleach. I’m glad I was taking it to go because the shop smelled like an in-door pool.(At least it smelled clean?!) I ordered the milk tea and it tasted a little off – like it was made with powdered something instead of fresh milk. And the bobas tasted old too. I wouldn’t come back. There are much better teas to be had at other boba places.

Horrible service by a guy with glasses. Took my order wrong and insisted on not changing it bc it would be «too much trouble» and acted as it was my fault. Seriously? Then why didn’t u take my order right? And his attitude was disgusting. Will not return even if this is the last boba place in the whole universe. Yes, this is how horrible the service I received made me feel.

I ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea(50% sweetness) and it was nicely balanced! I was happy that they didn’t put too much milk in it and you can still taste the Jasmine tea flavor. The service was quick, but you may have to fight for a parking spot in the lot.

I had CoCo for the first time when I lived in Southeast China for a month. It was everywhere and it was my everything! The month after I moved back to California, CoCos began popping up in LA! I thought I was destined to be with CoCo, but alas, it was not the same. It breaks my heart. This location is okay. They are mostly simple drinks, but at times they taste powdery. Not a lot of customizable options. When I went, this location was still accepting square, but I don’t think that’s the case anymore. For drinks, their 3 buddies /2 ladies are attractive choices. In China, I was a big fan of their coconut + mango drinks, but I had their coconut mango tea here and it was not that great. Bottom line is this place is ok for milk tea, but for $ 3 – 4 per drink, there are better places nearby(across the street even!). Check your receipt! I was charged for a Large drink when I didn’t order large –_–

I think I wrote off Coco’s as a mediocre boba place after having several bad encounters with them at the mall location. But several of my friends are huge fans of this place, and I decided to give the storefront another try, seeing as how my friends come almost once a week. This location’s drinks are definitely much better than the one at the mall. I tried both the milk tea and taro milk tea, and I was pretty surprised at how good both drinks were. While the milk tea isn’t comparable to the freshly brewed milk tea at some other teahouses, the one here was quite smooth. It didn’t have the powdered taste that other stores have either. I feel like it’s a good balance between the high-end and very cheap boba stores. I ordered my drink with less sugar and still really enjoyed the taste. The boba was also on point, which is a definite must at tea shops! Just the perfect amount of chewiness. My friend raves about the grass jelly here, claiming it is the best out of all the ones she has ever had. I do think their grass jelly is good, but I prefer the boba. Their egg pudding is also tasty. Sweet and with a decent amount in my cup, that I’m still able to finish the pudding well after the tea is gone. The taro milk tea is also pretty good. I ordered it with less sugar as well, but I found that having less sugar made a significant dent in the overall flavor of the drink. I probably will stick to full sugar with this drink next time. There was good taro flavor(and none of that powdered stuff) and despite it not being sweet enough, still retained a good taste. I ordered this with sago, Coco’s version of mini boba I suppose. I prefer mini boba over sago, just because sago is much smaller and reminiscent of an Asian dessert while I still get that chewiness from the mini boba. The prices of the drinks are also pretty affordable. I would say about $ 3-$ 4 for a drink, which is quite decent. The parking lot is horrible, however, especially if you come during a busy time. I had to find parking quite far away and walk over to the storefront. There are only a few tables and chairs — if you do dine in here, each person is required to purchase a drink. tl;dr — I think the drinks have swayed me into becoming a fan of Coco’s. The only issue is parking — if I’m craving boba and feel like parking will be an issue, I’d probably head elsewhere. The drinks are pretty good and affordable, but I still have other places that I consider better(and worse) than Coco’s.

Love me some CoCo. They’re the only ones who get it right when it comes to mixing tea and sea salt foam. Lollicup has it, but it’s just not the same. Unfortunately for this South OC resident, I gotta haul my butt all the way up here when the craving strikes. And it strikes often. I need gas money.

ordered their green milk tea and it was pretty good — creamy. it kind of reminds me of tapioca express’s jasmine milk tea. very floral and creamy. Unlike tea station /ten ren’s where it has a stronger tea flavor. the price is probably cheaper since i feel like they give a taller cup. nothing amazing and nothing bad about this place — just a-ok and i’d go back again to order a drink. Maybe i’ll their their grapefruit tea next time.

First and foremost, let me just say that I am a huge fan of CoCo and their drinks. I’ve been to this location many times and have enjoyed the beverages immensely. However, I came by yesterday right as they opened at 12pm. The older lady with glasses was obviously distressed/frustrated when she took my order, but I maintained my composure and patiently waited for my order to be fulfilled. Just now, I found out she had charged me $ 110.50 for 2 Lemon Dunks. The charge should have been $ 10.50. This is not my first encounter of bad service from this same lady. She’s repeatedly made the wrong drinks and has terrible customer service demeanor. If you ever see her there(mostly in the early morning and afternoons), I would discourage you from ordering. There’s another location at the mall and service is more par there.

My new favorite boba spot! I’ve had a several number of their drinks and I always seem to go back to the original milk tea with sago. It is so good! Their house milk tea is very unique compared to many other boba spots. Something about it is just addicting! It has the perfect balance of sweet and creamy, neither being too overpowering. Very tasty and a definite recommend from me. Only small gripe which is why they received 4 stars is that it is a little pricey for boba. A regular drink with boba would cost you about $ 4ish depending on drink. Other than that, I am a big fan!

I tried cocos for the first time this summer. It honestly didn’t look that appealing from pictures or how it looked in real life. The milk tea looked normal to me but it’s actually become one of my favorites. I definitely recommend getting the sago milk tea!

OMG I love coco! Their drinks are super fresh and really good! They’re known for their milk tea, and they don’t disappoint! You can customize your drinks too, and if you don’t like it/want to change it you can tell the workers and they’re more than happy to change it for you. The boba is soft and chewy. I’ve tried the milk tea, pearl milk tea, wintermelon milk tea, and grapefruit green tea. The grapefruit is really fresh! The drinks are pretty adorable too! The only bad thing is the parking! The parking lot of so small because it’s in a small plaza. But it’s ok, the good drinks make up for it LOL

Drinks were good and cheap and service was also good. I tried the milk tea and the grapefruit juice. The grapefruit juice was really really good, refreshing and not bitter. Milk tea was good, but i wanted the mini boba but i think they called it something else. I was pretty satisfied with my experience. Not too many people and it was very clean. It is in the same plaza as 101 noodle house across the street from«life plaza» with phoenix, tea bar, and din tai fung.

All I gotta say is: I’m in love with the coco . My go to orders: Sago milk tea 50% sugar. Orange green tea 50% sugar Drinks tend to be on the sweeter side but their teas aren’t bitter like some places. There has never been a long wait here and I always stop on the way home from playing basketball! Definitely better than many of the boba places around!

The staff was very friendly and enthusiastic during my visit. I ordered a large«2 Ladies»(milk tea with pudding and boba), and requested that the boba be substituted with sago. The drink was refreshing and not bad at all … but to be completely honest, I think one gets a larger and more pleasing beverage from Half & Half at a similar price point. The interior of the establishment appeared to be very clean. The parking lot was packed as always, so I’d say getting a spot here is still going to be a roll of a dice. Overall, I say give them a try, you might be be more impressed by CoCo than I was.

So… The orange green tea 50% less sugar with coconut jelly and less ice is my go to… BUT I discovered the mango green tea 50% sugar with coconut jelly and less ice and now I’m torn between the two… Maybe I should get 2 from now on. One for now and one for later! Anyhow, the real reason for my update is because of the grapefruit green tea that I was dying to try. Well, I tried it and didn’t like it… I love grapefruit but there was a sour bitterness I could not get over. Lesson learned… stick to what you know is yummy.

I love getting my fix of fresh juice and teas, but when you combine them together, it’s an even more delightful treat! =) I ordered the grapefruit green tea since it got some pretty hyped up reviews. The workers there were nice enough to help me with my order. You have the option of choosing how much sugar you want(30% 50% 70% or full on sugar). For me, I love grapefruit, but I do like my fair share of tartness and sweetness. So I opted for the 70% sugar option. Great decision. No regrets. They use real fruits in their drinks, which is a plus! I love the pulp in the drink. It tasted healthy but the pulp amount was not overpowering. So good! Overall, I was pleased with the flavor and quality of the drink. However, just be aware that the prices on the menu are pretty steep. My drink plus tax cost $ 5.25 for a large Grapefruit green tea. So depending on your budget for drinks, you may or may not want to try it. But I’m glad that I was able to try this drink at least once. Parking is easy. Stamp cards are available. There’s limited seating, so if you want to grab a table for studying — you’re better off going here earlier in the day or studying elsewhere.

This CoCo’s is located outside from the mall location. I usually come here for their Grapefruit Green tea. The grapefruit is fresh and the drink is cold and stays cold throughout part of the afternoon. This drink is so refreshing. One thing about sunny California, you can’t go wrong with boba stands. If you can’t prep your boba drinks right in LA, you don’t have the right to run one, just a thought.

The one on Sawtelle can be watery at times but this location is pretty consistent. I still like their Jasmine milk tea with egg pudding the best. Their matcha is a tad on the watery side and so is their Chocolate.
