Fogazzo Wood Fired Ovens and Barbecues

We waited to review to see how the product worked — so far, 5 stars for the oven itself, 1 star for customer service. We bought our Fogazzo oven our oven last year and have enjoyed many excellent dishes. However, when we initially bought it, the owner (Sergio) had promised us a digital thermometer with purchase because we pointed out an issue with his 800 number after we had tried it unsuccessfully and ended up having to call the local number. So great — in our minds he valued his customers. Purchase happened… however, no thermometer, even after subsequent email conversations promising such. Also, the oven was delivered on oversized palettes which caused a refusal to deliver by the trucking company and an unnecessary trip/​rental on our part to freight warehouse. After we let him know, Sergio had said that that had «never happened before» and feigned concern/​more promises but no steps were made on his part to rectify the situation. We are not concerned with free stuff but would rather give business to someone who keeps his word. Thusly, we decided to go elsewhere for all the accessories, including a digital thermometer.
