I’ve been to many IHOPs and this one just seems to bother me. My friend and I went to this IHOP because we just came back from the mall(which isn’t far from this location at all) When I came into the restaurant, we weren’t even greeted and were waiting for a while. Once we got seated, we wanted to move tables so we asked if we could. The hostess told me to wait five minutes because the tables were dirty. While waiting for us to be moved to the other table, I could clearly see that a lot of tables were dirty and it just made me wonder how long it was like that for. We waited and waited and waited, but there was still no one to come around to move us to another table or at least ask us if we wanted anything to drink. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a pretty patient and understanding person. But it wasn’t as crowded, it was only like 7 pm, and I really didn’t understand why the wait time was so long. We didn’t even end up eating because we grew restless. Maybe we just came at a bad time and maybe I should give this place another chance; but, I’ll probably stick to the other IHOP locations.

I was there on 1÷30÷16 I waited 30 mins for pancakes, 2 eggs hash browns and French toast. Then I saw other people that came after me and they got their food first. I got very upset that I finally got up and went to talk to the manager after the encounter left I won’t go back. The waitress never came to check on my table. The cleaning guy brought the orange juice, if someone deserves a pay raise there is the cleaning guy. He is a very hard working person, and should probably be promoted. After this experience, the best IHOP is in the city of Duarte next to Walmart excellent service there.

This place is a nightmare. Today, the waitress was polite but the order was wrong. The service is usually slow but wasn’t today. Yet, the cooks keep making over-medium eggs as over-easy. The hash browns were ordered«extra-crispy» but they weren’t. And my omelet was served cold. I paid for the half eaten food, then left. I won’t return.

This IHOP is not hitting on too much. First of all, how can they charge extra for salsa. So that should be a free condiment! The stake in the big steak omelette tasted as if you were eating hamburger meat instead of actual pieces of steak! The steak in the big state omelette taste it as if you were eating hamburger meat instead of actually pieces of state! The bathroom looked clean, but the smell suggested a deep rooted lack of cleanliness. Like ugh!

Came here on a busy Sunday late morning. 5 people in our party and we were seated immediately. Service was excellent(thank you Lisa!). Our orders included the chicken florentine crepes, 2 children’s meals, and the steak omelette with a side of pancakes. Food came out within 10 minutes of placing our order. The place was understandably noisy as there were lots of families dining after the holiday. Great food, great experience. Thank you IHOP! We shall return.

Got here 5 mins to close which means it is still open right? Door is unlocked, open sign is on, posted hours say 10 and it’s not 10 yet. But I’m denied to order to go. If you close at 9:55, change your hours, turn off your open sign and lock the door. Failure of Customer service will make me not want to go back even in the food is good. Service is key to returning customers.

Got me my free pancakes since my bday is coming up. I like how their pancakes were MUCH bigger than the ones in Pasadena lol. Also got their chicken fajita omelette. exchanged it for egg whites which is $ 1.99 extra. Bf got their southwestern club. exchanged the fries for fruits and it’s .99 cents extra. –___– Why is it that if people want to make slight healthier choices. they get charged for it? Especially if it’s a tiny ass fruit bowl compared to a plate of fries. I don’t get it.

And here the day they had short stack pancakes for 59 cents, that was let’s rally all we got and a SB. side of blueberries. We have been there before and it is not much better. The pancakes were not fluffy.

I’m a fan of ihop. For under 7 bucks you can get an order of specialty pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns. You get some coffee and oj. The restaurant is small and crowded so get in early on weekends. Service is average but what you get for what you pay makes it worth the while.

I called on a Friday night at 9:43 to place an order to go and in a very annoyed voice he told me they’ll be closing in 10 minutes so if I want to order I’ll have to rush. So I said it’s okay I don’t want to rush. So he said no you’ll have to rush because we’re closing soon and if you order now and when you get here and we’re closed I don’t know what to tell you. Hm ok. So I was irritated and told my boyfriend and he said let me try calling just to see what they will say. So he called back at 10:03 pm and said he wanted to place an order to go, the same guy that picked up the first time told him they’ll be closing in 2 minutes… And that was 20 minutes after I had called. I had always hear this place has bad customer service and now I see why. If our money is not good enough for you, that’s fine. We’ll take it somewhere else.

Stale eggs, sausage and pancakes. On top, I was charged more for turkey bacon which no other ihop including ihop at Duarte has ever charged me. This is my first and last time I ever come here. Please spare your money and don’t come here.

So after having a very negative experience at this location, I contacted the ihop corporation and they agreed with me that I received horrible service. This specific franchise is managed by Arcadia Food Corp so stay away from all their franchises. Let me start by explaining what happened. My fiancé and I sat down, she ordered an ice coffee and I ordered water only. Our server, Jes**a gave me a small glass cup of water. Finished the cup a couple mins later and asked for a bigger glass. It took her 15 mins to even bring a water refill, let alone a bigger water glass. Then, she ordered omelettes that came with pancakes so her omelette came out and then as she ate her food 8 minutes later, we asked about the pancakes and they came out 3 minutes later which became a total of 11 minutes for the pancakes to come out when they were supposed to come out with the entrée. Oh and btw, for you who have served in the military, this is not a location that supports us. So I contacted corporate and they said I should receive a reply back from the franchise within 3 – 5 business days. I called corporate because 9 business days had passed. The ihop customer service representative had to escalate the issue and that’s how one of the owners finally got back to me. His name was Cleme** Go**z and he was just as unhelpful and horrible at customer service. He notified me that he spoke to the server two days ago, but yet I had to escalate the complaint for him to follow up with me? Wow! I’ve never come across management like this so don’t waste your time and money on any Arcadia Food Corp franchises.

I went to IHOP in Arcadia last night. I arrived there at 9:30pm the waitress gives me a stupid whinny look and in a very immature little kid like manner whines to me «we are going to close soon» and turned me away. I never felt so offended. I guess my money was not good enough for them. I will never ever go back there again. Thank God for Denny’s…

My family has been coming here for maybe two years, 2 – 3 times a month sometimes, on Sunday… because my little 90 year old grandma just loves IHOP… and coincidentally I do too! The food is fine for IHOP, excuuuuuuse me if it isn’t the trendiest gastropub in West LA, but you shouldn’t hold it to those standards. Good pancakes, good eggs, good turkey bacon, good coffee… no complaints here! A big shout out to Luz, the manager of this place, she is ALWAYS nice, gracious, ready to accomodate and just has A+ customer service. The wait is never too long(and this is a tiny IHOP) so we get in, wait ~15 min ATMOST, get our breakfast on and it is always a pleasant experience. Thank you Luz for being so good at what you do!

It’s an IHop… They also took my coupon. Ps: They give you two free meals a year. Once for your birthday and once every year of joining their eclub(the date you joined). I go to an Ihop two times a year… by myself. 8)

The food is still pretty great, but pricey for what it is. The restaurant is cramped and the employees look so miserable. One time we encountered a really sarcastic waitress, a brunette with short blunt hair, who just muttered the whole time in a judgmental way. I had a birthday deal for a free Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity, and she said«That’s it?» as if we were the cheapest people on earth. Then at the end instead of giving us the check so that we could tip her, she just came by and said«Okay…you’re free to go.» while rolling her eyes(imagine a sing-songy sarcastic tone) We tipped her anyway because we are«meek little asian people»(like my coworker always says) and she just said«Okay, thank you» in a robotic tone. Guess the service hasn’t changed much since my last review. They’re still emotionless.
