Subway

Had a terrible experience recently at this subway. My son and i were there for lunch on October 15^th 2015 Thursday between 12 and 1. One of their employees, female, didn’t have a name tag approached me after we sat down to eat and accused me of scratching her car parked the parking lot. She Insisted that I scratched it even though I had no idea what she was talking about. I said no i didn’t, but she went ahead to the back and claimed to check the security camera and said i did. I know she was lying because I know I didn’t touch her car. I was so furious so I told her let’s go out to the parking lot to show her that when I opened my door fully wide open to show to her that it’s not even touching her car and I told her how can she accuse my boy of that. Never going to eat there again! Customer’s beware that there’s an employee trying to scam customers for paying for her car damage.

Service is good. My only gripe would be them never giving me my free coffee with my breakfast sandwich unless I ask for it. That’s kind of like mc Donald’s not giving me my fries and drink with my value meal only because I didn’t ask.

This is a very clean location, they are very generous with toppings, and prices are always good. But their seating area is ridiculous. If there are people sitting at all 3 tables, there is no room for anyone to back away from the table to get up. Everyone is chair to chair. They need to remove a table.

Subway provides adequate sustenance the way a water fountain at the park provides hydration… You really don’t go out of your way to visit either one of them, but you are glad that they are there when you need them.
This is a small, but reasonably good subway. The crew behind the counter does a nice job with the sandwiches, they are communicative, good listeners, and make sandwiches to order. My compliments to management, for apparently coaching the staff on appropriate amounts of items to place on sandwiches. Nothing grinds my gears quite as much as asking for spinach instead of lettuce, and having some chowderhead dig deep and put three leaves on my foot long.
No problems like that here. Today, I went with a foot-​long turkey breast on jalapeño bread, no mayo… Mustard, vinegar, but no oil. Lo, the young lady working the joint at 10:30, did me right.
Parking is a bit of a challenge in the small lot at times, as there are several other eateries in the tiny strip mall. Parking is also available on adjacent First Street, but good luck parking on Foothill with speedy traffic.

I stopped by this Subway because the Monrovia store on Foothill was closed for relocating. This store is smaller than average Subway stores, but I gonna say it has the most work-​efficient people working behind the counter.
I ordered a total of 4 sandwiches. The girl (I think her name is Maracella) worked like a machine. Unlike other restaurants I’ve gone to where I have to keep repeating my order to them over and over. With her, I gave my order once for all 4 sandwiches and it was all done in 7 minutes!
Very impressed!

Nice location with small parking lot shared with several business makes this hard to park during peak hours try street parking on 1^st. Street
Lots of staff so you get your sandwich in no time.
