Humboldt Patient Resource Center

I’m a new patient to HPRC and was pleasantly surprised by this little place. Very friendly staff, fast sign up, really efficient set up, and a nice variety of flower and edibles. The flower prices were lower than I expected and they seem to have options for all budgets. I’ve visited a few times and haven’t been disappointed yet. They also carry the well known and reliable edible brands like Kiva and Cheeba Chews that I love. Thanks HPRC.

I love that they have started carrying strain specific small buds. Its really a great value and you can still check it out before purchasing. I would never pay $ 50 for an eighth, but I’d pay $ 50 for a quarter. Crumbles are a mixed small bud buy, and great for mixing or filling, and for $ 40/​quarter, that is a day-​maker when you are low on resources but still want quality buds. The staff there are friendly, helpful, and when you’re a regular they will remember you. I like that they are non-​profit, that they grow in house, they care about quality, and are very professional. I like the clean atmosphere, the way the buds are set up for you, the openness, the knowledgable staff, and the quote of their buds. Even in the small buds, it’s pretty damn good most of the time. I have started coming here more because I feel like the staff and organization in general is about patient care, plant care, and top quality. They are always asking about how they can improve, they are consistently friendly and positive, and I just feel good about myself and where I’m spending my money when I go there. Not many places overall are like this.

curious if u people even know what quality medicine is. mite poop, terrible trimming job does not indicate great medicine. I have turned down their flowers for free. if you want «real» quality meds u cannot use shooting powder in week 3 of flowering and moab the whole time. really explain why the medicine is so mediocre. HPRC Take pride in what you do.

3 stars. Happy and friendly employees working the register. No pens to fill out paperwork so I had to interrupt the tender for a pen while she was helping a customer. A more costly Northern establishment but flawless product. Pre packaged. Pre weighed. Received the wrong change back by 10 $. Sidetracked tender didn’t give me the correct change back because she can’t pay attention to detail. That’s 100 percent of her job. I told her about it and she gave me the correct change.

Was really impressed when I visited them. Unlike a lot of other places that seem staffed by recreational smokers, the staff here knew what they were talking about and could recommend based on conditions I presented what would work best for my needs. Plus, they have such an awesome wide variety of products! I’d never even heard of a cannabis pain rub (kinda like icy hot) — not only does it work miracles on my tendinitis, but smells like icy hot so I can take it anywhere without hassle. They’ve also got tars, oils, vap pens… very friendly and willing to explain things!

They’re one of the best Humboldt has. As a customer, they’ve always been friendly and polite towards me.
They’re medicine is at least a 4 out of 5, if not sometimes better.
I thought their edibles were tasty, but lacked in potency.

Out of the shops in the county, this one has been the most consistent in quality of medicine and customer service. I give them a better service rating than quality because they have to produce medicine so quickly it can occasionally be a little wet. Other than that they’re great. BUMMED about Hum Wellness closing HPRC needs to reopen it.

First off shana probably has no idea what she’s talking about. How could you base your 1 star for some fake rumor you heard?
Anyways the HPRC is the best club in arcata hands down. The weed is ofcourse the main factor in judging this place but the employees, setup and overall great experience is what keeps me coming back. All of the employees are incredibly cool, down to earth, polite and knowledgeable about weed! The girl that works there is pretty cute too.
Overall they always have a few strains of high quality medicine. I’ve seen up to 8 strains before but they usually have about 4 – 5 strains. They grow all their own medicine, so you know its going to be medicinal quality. Sometimes they carry discounted 8ths and certain days trim. What I like most about the setup is that it is very quick! I can seriously be out within a couple minutes. If there’s no one in line and I already know what I want I can be in and out in 30 seconds. All the medicine is in seperate labeled sample jars ready for you to examine, and all the weed is preweighed and bagged. Its perfect, unlike the icenter where the standard wait in line is 15minutes… I’ve waited what felt like 30 though.
Anyways they carry the best assortment of edibles. You name it they have it. They even have pecan pie.
They also have balm, tinctures, pills, and other weed products.
Recently they also started selling vaporizers, pipes, tshirts and other cool stuff.
They also carry a wide assortment of clones at a good price and are willing to give lots of advice.
This club really cares about its patients. They often have free food, and I’ve seen them occasionally have edible samples.
I’ve been to lots and lots of clubs all over california and this is the most personal and friendly one I’ve ever been to.
The only drawbacks I can even think of are that the price recently just went up, so 16ths are 20 and 8ths are 40. Used to be 19.50 and 39. It isn’t much more and its the same price thaf other arcata clubs charge but I liked that extra dollar back for a swisher.lol.
also I do sometimes wish they had more of a variety of strains. I do understand they grow their own so its harder to have a lot of different strains at once. They do switch up the strains all the time but I just wish they had more exotic and rare strains instead of the usual trainwreck, pure kush, blue dream, etc. that everyone has.
BUT they are still the best club in arcata!!! Thank you hprc!

Interesting place. I remember when they first started under a different owner it was actually pretty decent. They got a different owner and things got what seemed better but as I left the area they had a lot of «inside» robberies and problems with supplying’ their patients. Seems things got a bit corrupt there. It’s a shame. It’s a medical center for sick folks to get their meds.
