Westside Pizza

Just got a pizza delivered, it came pretty fast. Less than 30 minutes during dinner time rush. :-) The pizza was fairly decent, lots of toppings. My only complaint is that the crust was a little doughy still.

This is by far the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The sauce in particular tastes like they opened a Ragu marinara sauce and simply poured it over the dough without even bothering to distribute it evenly. The last time I went here, I walked with my boyfriend to get the carryout deal since he doesn’t live far away. We placed our order, and sat for over 40 minutes without them bringing our food. When we finally asked, they had lost the order and had never even put it in! Thus we had to wait an entire hour to get our food.
The restaurant itself is always dirty and riddled with flies. I would not recommend this place on anyone.
The only highlight of Westside Pizza is that they have amazing Cheese Bread.

Make no mistake; this is mediocre pizza. In spite of this, I gave them 3 stars because the people working are always super friendly, the service is good, and they have a good selection of arcade games and an air hockey table. A perfect place to take a group of kids to blow off some steam– extremely kid friendly.

Went in to try the gluten-​free crust. They offer medium size only. ordered the deluxe vege. said it would be about 20 min. after 20 min. they forgot the order. cooks were standing around. it was 4:30 and were not busy. the gave my money back and I went to rico’s for tacos… I hope to try someday. somewhere else. they really need to train with their employees to take breaks after they work. not during

Delivery always on time, friendly staff, awesome pizza, and reasonable prices. Literally could not ask for more.
They even made a big heart shaped pizza for me! It was wonderful! I don’t know why there’s any negative reviews

Always an hour late and soggy uncooked bread. The soda and cheese bread is forgotten and delivered later without any cheese on it.

Even If they paid me $ 100 I wouldnt go here.
Please step it up Westside since you are the only place one until 2am.

This is the most confusingly flavorless pizza I’ve ever had. The crust tastes like spongy white bread, and even the veggies lacked any sort of depth. Very weird, very perplexing.

The pizza is doughy, the pasta not consistent, they say it’s guaranteed but if you call for them to make it right they tag you and tell you that you shouldn’t order that item or from them… Guess what… just won’t order there ever again and I know lots of people in the community and will make sure to spread the word, not to waste time or hard earned money on westside pizza… Such a shame, when they first opened, never had a problem or a complaint. Now it’s wrong more than right but as a business owner, I kept giving them another chance to shine but they are falling flat and when I did call i was made out to be the bad guy…, so much for customer satisfaction… The add says they will replace it if yo have at least half left, yet they act like you are trying to get one over on them and get free food. Not the case… I really don’t even want a replacement now, since I was treated rudely by the manager… You can have your shoddy food westside… Round table and Paul’s live from New York… Here we come!!!

Sorry Westside, but your pizza stinks. Easily the worst pizza in town. The price is right and customer service is good, but everything else is wrong. I’m not sure if it’s the cheese or the sauce (or both) but the pizza has a really strange and unnatural taste.

Worst.Pizza.Ever. The crust is doughy, the sauce tastes canned, the toppings are flavorless and «real» cheese tastes fake. Go to Live From NY, or Dutchy’s for a good pie.

Finally tried out Westside after seeing their commercial during football.
I called in my order-​medium Hawaiian for pick up. It’s advertised to be double meat and double pineapple. $ 14.00 total.
I headed over to pick it up. It was ready at the time they told me which is always a plus. The counter worker was friendly and efficient.
I had never been inside the building and was surprised at how large it is. It would be a great space to hang out with several people at once.
Got the pizza home and opened the box to find the top of the pizza entirely covered in cheese. When my husband pulled his first piece out of the box the cheese slid completely off the top. I got out a cutter to prevent that for future pieces.
We both found the double meat and double pineapple to be true. We didn’t like the crust very much as it was fairly thick and bready and not crispy, which we prefer. There was also an odd taste to the crust which I can’t quite place. Some pizza crusts have that great yeast flavor. This one didn’t. Having the cheese on top instead of toppings was odd.
Overall the experience was fairly good but we weren’t all that impressed with the pizza.

Sooooo we asked for a cat to be drawn on the box and they delivered. Their lunch deal is awesome, their pizza is top notch and their prices are very good. Also CINNAMON STICKS.

You might as well get a frozen pizza from the neighboring Safeway and cook it on your engine block. A guarantee you’ll be less disappointed than if you ate at west side pizza. Their pizza tastes incredibly cheap, with a bizarre puffy crust.

I love this place. From my experience the service is friendly and the pizza quickly out to the table. I have also had it delivered and the service was on time and pizza was fresh.
This is a great place to go for a quick bite to eat and it has been consistent every time I have been by. Its also nice to know that this business is owned by a local guy.

Ive orderee from this place quite a lot. just cuz I get lazy to go out and usually theyre the only ones open that late to deliver.
The pizza is meh… the cheese is bland as well as the sauce… and the marinara they give you is also very bland and watery. The only way I enjoy their breadsticks or pizza is with a LOT OF RANCH because the ranch dipping sauce is actually good.
Ive had the wings theyre alright i never felt like ordering them again they are just fried but dont have sauce on them so if you order those dont expect to savor the sauce on your fingers lol. The establishment is nice lookin but I think they should really make the pizza tastier because its just bland.

You can get better pizza anywhere but here. Mushy & undercooked crust and the price for this crap should be a lot lower. You can get really great pizza for a buck more just down the road.
The staff can’t handle a bunch of kids and family’s coming in. No clean cups & no quarters for the arcade games. That’s part of the reason we even went there.
Will not be going back.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Westside Pizza delivers to McKinleyville for a $ 1.99 delivery charge, so I ordered a pizza yesterday. It arrived at my house in less than a half hour. It was baked perfectly, and my wife and I loved it.
Her half was the Hawaiian, and she said that this was the only time EVER that a pizza place put on enough ham and pineapple for her. The additional cheese over the top held the toppings in place. My half was the Meat Mania, which was very tasty.
All things considered, I’d order again from this restaurant. Timely delivery, hot and tasty product with enough toppings, and the price point is very reasonable. I would have given it five stars if not for the 3+ minute wait while on hold when I phoned to place my order.
