Michael Coughlan – State Farm Insurance Agent

I don’t feel like I’m working with a HUGE insurance company. It feels like a mom-​and-​pop shops that actually knows and cares about me. I’ve emailed Josh there about a million times for simple things like updating my credit card info, which I could probably do online for myself, and he is immediately responsive and helpful. And then my gas furnace broke in the middle of winter … I called Josh to see if my homeowners’ policy could help in any way. Of course it couldn’t, but I still left feeling well-​served because Josh asked Mike for local repair recommendations (I’m new to the area). Mike recommended someone he personally uses. Not only was it amazing service from the repair guys, but Mike took the time to call me and ask how things went, which is clearly not his job to do.
All this is to say, insurance isn’t the most fun service to be in or the most fun to buy. But I’ve had nothing but overly positive experiences with this specific State Farm shop.
