Does anyone know if Bella Strada Pizzeria is still even open?

I can’t believe anyone with working taste buds actually liked this place. Their pizza was nothing short of horrendous, one of the worst food concoctions of any kind I’ve ever consumed. You know that old saying that even bad pizza is good pizza? I challenge that individual to stroll into Bella and see if that still holds true. It even smelled bad. Their version of minestrone soup consisted of a tomato broth with giant chunks of tomato and nothing else. Not the friendliest of service either but it really was a moot point since the food was so horrible.

I know this is a tiny family owned restaurant so they get an extra star for effort and for the cute atmosphere. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that I can say that is favorable. I believe that the lady waiting on us was a family member. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and we told the waitress that we were in a bit of a rush. That made NO impact –service was SLOW and we were one of three tables. We didn’t try the pizza but probably should have. Not an Italian bone in my body but my Italian food tastes better. Sorry… wanted to love this place. It is cute inside.

The service and food were great! Sal is a wonderful man and truly cares for the restaurant and his customers. We will definitely go back.

went back another time with friends and saw mold on the bottom of the parmesan cheese container… GREAT.

I read all the raves for this place and can’t believe they really ate here.
I tried the cheese pizza 2 times and both were bland and warmed over. It didn’t smell like cooking in there, I assume it was microwaved.
Sorry, but we had 2 bad experiences and won’t be going back. Frozen pizza from Aldi is better.

Great food, great service. I took the whole family for dinner and we all had a blast. We plan on having my son’s birthday party here. The party packages are generous and very good prices

Went here for lunch last week. 4 bucks for two medium slices of pizza. The restaurant itself is very small with few tables, but the pizza is definitely satisfying for the price. Descent crust, good cheese and sausage, and mediocre sauce make the pizza just o.k. They do serve regular Italian foods for both lunch and dinner, but I only got the pizza.

I had been wanting to try Bella Strada Pizzeria since it first catered an event at Teddy’s for a craft beer tasting. I was able to sample the pepperoni pizza, vodka and Alfredo sauce. I really liked all of them, so I decided to take my mom here to see what she thought.
We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door. We snagged a table and my mom went up to order. They told us that they would have waiter service soon though. Even though you go up to order, they bring the food to your table.
We ordered the fried calamari and a Florentine pizza. The calamari was only okay. It seemed a bit chewy. like the frozen type. The pizza on the other hand was amazing! The crust was awesome. nice and crispy and you could tell that the sauce was homemade. The staff was extremely friendly.
The décor was great… it felt like a trip to Italy. The only improvement I would suggest would be to play some music. It was just too quite inside.

Decided to try Bella Strada after reading the reviews on Unilocal.I was not disappointed. I ordered a margarita pizza and fried ravioli. The fried ravioli was good, nice and crispy exterior with good flavor. The margarita pizza was fantastic. The cheese and tomatoes had such a great flavor. I would give it 5 stars except I think the crust flavor was a little lacking, the bottle of Coke i bought was flat (must have been there a little too long), and the woman who took my order was not very friendly. Wish I could give the review an extra half-​star. Will definitely go back for pizza and to try additional dishes.

Wherever they go, a real fitness buff will always make sure to know the closest gym. An art lover will always locate the best art museum. As a pizza lover, I always like to know the areas best pizza.
This can sometimes pose a problem. We had a real predicament in my mothers neighborhood. We could not find any really good pizza. We tried and tried. Some places used to be good, but then cut back on quality or changed their recipes.
Finally Bella Strada opened their doors. This is a charming, family owned restaurant. We couldn’t be happier! In fact, they catered my birthday party and it was great! We had hot wings, fried calamari, chicken parm, chicken vesuvio, pizza florentine and pizza margherita. Everything was fresh, authentic and delicious.
Another bonus– they are open for lunch and have great specials.
I can finally visit my mother again ;)
