The worst bar in the Arlington Heights area, shitty beer selection on tap, your paying downtown chicago prices for drinks and I still havent seen a cute girl there since i started going in 2012. Literally gave this place so many chances but crave should be torn down and demolished.

I suppose if you’re there to drink between 2 – 4 am and they are one of the few places open, go for it. But if you want to go to eat; BUYERBEWARE! I tried the place for lunch on Friday because they had a offer. I orderd the ribs. Burger King’s attempt at ribs looked pretty good by comparison. Oh well, I wopuld have wrote it off to the risk you take when trying new places with . But they added insult to injury! When I showed my $ 5 off certificate on my phone, a look of dread came on the waitress’s face as she explained th owner won’t let her accept them on the phone(they had to be pre-printed). When i suggested that they need to indicate that restriction in their offer she said she knows. So I dropped $ 18 including tip(it wasn’t the waitress fault) for a horrible lunch. The lesson: When you go someplace for lunch and there is only on customer at the bar, maybe there is a reason! My message to the owner: Maybe the booze crowd from 2 – 4 am carries the place but if you want to understand why your losing your shirt the other 22 hours everyday, look no farther than your mirror.

Had coupon with a nice-looking rib special. Special would be the applicable word. They claimed because I was ordering a special they would not honor any of my other coupons. Wanted to use 20% off coupon on rest of our table. Restaurant claims item a special even though the price is the same every day. So-called rib special was to include two sides written right on coupon. The waitress claimed only one side was included I showed her coupons she still claimed only one side was included. The rib special did come with two sides, huh? Oh and after all that the ribs were horrible almost inedible. I guess their business is really good to treat new customers like we were treated. If you want to patronize liars with overpriced drinks this is your place. I will never go there again nor should you.

We rented out the upstairs party room for a local community cheer group on a Monday night. The service was great but when the bill came we found out were charged $ 10.00 a pitcher for POP! We were quoted free refills with our mediocre pizza. When we questioned the owner he acted like we were putting him out and actually got verbally abusive. The poor server even told him she would pay for our pop and to take it our her pay. We felt terrible for this girl who clearly was trying to make ends meet. After fighting with the owner he FINALLY honored our verbal agreement for free refills on the pop. We will not be going back to this place and I hope the waitress got her entire tip from us, as she deserved the 30% we left her!

This place is a dump the only reason it gets 2 stars is because its open late. The bartenders seem miserable. The owner is always sitting at the bar looking pissed off. Plenty of cops like to hang out in the parking lot as well

Got an advertisement in the mail. Free buffet during halftime Bears game. Went there today, halftime nothing. Owner said not enough people. Bought some appetizers not even a token discount.

This is a great place if you’re a bar-fly. They have TVs for watching sports, video games and friendly bartenders. They do have some booth seating if you want to eat lunch or dinner, but it’s not a place to drive out of your way just for the food If you’re hungry and in the area though, don’t hesitate to stop in for a meal. The ‘restaurant’ part is really a minor section because it’s the bar area that takes up the majority of the place. And they are known for being a late night bar(4am). So if you’ve got some friends who want to drink and watch the game and maybe have food, this is good place to do that. Or if it’s 3 am and you’re just not ready to go home yet, this place is probably packed with late night partiers with the same idea.

Great service, great bar food, cheap drinks. My favorite local bar. Also a ton of tvs to watch sporting events on, and pool tables!

How far can a restaurant slip in a year? My first visit was in the Summer of 2014. My last(as in final) visit was in August of 2015. My first visit I had one of the best burgers ever! These have now been replaced by pre-formed and pre-cooked hockey pucks! Fish tacos(and apparently several other items) are now also heat-and-serve. Fries were inedible. Nothing was good. Might be an OK bar, but as a restaurant, this place has completely given up!

Oh I Crave for this place to be something it’s not. It’s amazing this place finds patrons to keep the doors open. It claims its voted best burger. I’d argue the voters are likely just out of prison or just returning from a sabbatical in the Yukon. Fish fry anyone? Really… Anyone? It does offer an ambiance that remotely resembles a dive/sports bar. Plus it sells lottery tickets. They should also consider yard waste stickers cause they seem willing to try anything. Unless you have no other options or you simply have to have that beer… Do yourself a favor and pass this place by.

Crave is gross. Upon walking in we were hit in the face with a gust of wind that smelled like sewage. The crowd was a mixture of ghetto and white trash. Our server looked like she was conjured straight out of a horror movie(Not kidding) she looked like she was tumble dried on high heat. Her hair was frizzed out and she had super dark eye circles. You would think she was working commission the way she was pushing shots on us. It was 2am and we were starving. We came in to eat. The minute we asked her for menu’s she disappeared like a fart in the wind. Zero stars!!!

They have Voted Best Burgers on their sign out in front so we were curious. We finally stopped in, and tried the burgers. I was very disappointed, the burger is a frozen preformed puck, like the ones you get at Gordons Food Service. The fries were inedible, fried in old oil. The coldslaw was good. Who voted them best burger?

Would not recommend this bar/restaurant. My wife ordered the fish fry and was told incorrectly that the fish was haddock. She received her order and after eating a few bites said that it was not haddock. She asked the waitress if it was haddock and was told a second time that it was haddock. She probably ate one or two small portions and could not eat any more. When a older gentleman came over to clear off the table my wife asked him what kind of fish it was and he said it was tilapia, which she does not care for. We told him the waitress had informed us it was haddock. I think the kitchen needs to properly inform the wait staff what kind of food they are serving. Then when we asked that we not be charged for the fish since it was the wrong fish and she only ate a very portion of it the response was you ate it you pay for it. We will not be going back to this bar.

Fish tacos were awesome!!! the best I’ve ever had. Loved the bartenders. The beer on tap was great. Good variety. Loved that I could have my drink and play darts;) Some things there were a little shady like the people coming in and out for a private party but I really didn’t care. The place was just dang good!!!

Called in an order for pick-up only to find out the prices online are incorrect. Each item is $ 2-$ 5 dollars more in reality. The owner didn’t bother coming out to apologize and instead of honoring the prices that are posted online, the best he could do was take $ 5 off the check, meaning I still overpaid by $ 5. Seems like the online prices not matching has been an issue for months(as read in these reviews) yet the management doesn’t care to rectify it. To make matters worse, mediocre food. Nachos were burnt, stale, with cold, old, ground beef and barely of it at that. Literally threw away $ 40 worth of food. Don’t bother going unless you want to overpay for subpar food.

You know what? Despite all the hearsay from others and rumors, I like this place. The bartenders are great people and so friendly. They’ll know your first name by the time you walk in the door. I know the patrons aren’t the coolest and are whatever stereotype, but you can’ t rate a business based on its customers. The drinks are strong and fairly priced. I’ve never had a problem with the owner either. Karaōke nights are a blast and hilarious(on Tuesdays). They have a nice patio seating area which is great to escape the music and talk with friends. Also, there are 2 pool tables. And make sure to check out the daily drink specials! Overall its a great bar with a lot of fun options!

I had a certificate and since this place isn’t too far from my house — I figured I’d give it a shot. I went around lunchtime and didn’t order any alcohol so I won’t comment on the bar/bartender(she seemed nice enough), but I have to say the place made me uncomfortable from the moment I stepped foot in. The place was dark with only a handful of people there. Nothing I didn’t expect from a dive bar. I went to pick up my order and was given my total. Imagine my surprise when the price they rang up was about $ 5MORE than what was advertised on their online menu… umm…ok.sounds a little weird, but we’ll go with that. After all, I had a $ 5 certificate that would at least make up the difference and I was in a hurry… …Yeah…apparently, not so much… when I went to give them the certificate, I was advised that it was meant for dine in only use. Well… it didn’t say dine in only and it would have been nice to know that beforehand — so I mentioned that to the manager(who by now had been called over to handle things). Instead of making me more comfortable, she made it worse — really pushing to say that she didn’t want to take the certificate and that it was meant for dining in the restaurant, etc etc. OK — well if that’s what it should be, it should have been noted on the certificate and I’d know not to go when I was running errands during lunchtime and only had time to pick up my food before running back to work. Reluctantly she let me use my certificate(probably because I repeatedly pointed out that no where on the certificate does it say you had to dine in). By now, she’d succeeded in making me severely uncomfortable and late for work… I was annoyed enough that I wanted to ditch the food, take my certificate back, exchange it with , and go somewhere else — like McDonald’s… but since she caved and actually honored the certificate — I went ahead and paid for my meal. You would think the surprises stopped there… No… That’s when I found out about the $ 10 minimum for credit card purchases(of course I didn’t expect that so had no cash on me) and then proceeded to get charged a $ 1 surcharge for the privilege of paying for my meal with a credit card(since my meal was $ 8.50 and NOT $ 10). It’s a shame really — the food was pretty decent, but had my expectations been managed prior to going there — they would have saved a lot of grief(mine and theirs). As it stands, I probably won’t go back — as there’s nothing completely noteworthy about the food and… with the number of restaurants in the area… I can always go elsewhere…
