I have had good experience in the past with the Supercuts in Mount Prospect, so when I moved near this location in May 2014, I went here. Jenny is my «go-to» person for my monthly haircut. She gives an outstanding haircut, and is so friendly that we have a nice visit every time I get my hair cut! Kirsten has also given me a great haircut. This place has great prices (and I enjoy the Senior discount too), is clean and pleasant every time I’m here.

If you want to go to a place that’ll care about your hair, I suggest completely avoiding super cuts. Every time I went I showed them a picture of what i want and told them exactly what to do, still they fail to succeed. Would not recommend to anyone unless u simply want a buzz cut. Not worth it.

Great for men, quick, quality, relaxing, rejuvenating! I had a sport clip and shampoo, and my experience was very pleasant. Will definitely come back for more!

Due to the economy I decided to save some bucks and try out Super Cuts. It’s a new salon, with a very clean layout. I was a bit hesitant to get a cut and highlights here because I’m used to spending close to $ 200 for the same service at an upscale salon. I was lucky to get Kirsten as my stylist for the day. Initially, I had wanted to get blonde and caramel highlights, Kirsten quickly gave me her input and it was for the better! Kirsten was very friendly and accommodating. She listened to what I wanted and I didn’t have to repeat myself to get the point across.
Usually when I get my hair done I’m left alone in my chair till it’s time to take out the foils. The stylists made me feel very comfortable and made small talk with me to pass the time! All in all it was a good experience, I can say I would much rather save $ 120 and go to Super Cuts again!!!

This salon is brand new and gorgeous! Erica is an experienced stylist who is super upbeat, nice, and very talented! I have never seen a bad haircut on anyone she has styled! She is always on trend with the most current haircuts, color, and styles. She has a knack of knowing what would look good on you, but also listening to what you want. You are in excellent hands with Erica! You will walk out with a stylish haircut, a smile on your face and a spring in your step!

Well, after about 5 days of still being upset about my experience, I decided to Unilocal this place. It’s a gorgeous Salon, very clean. went in during my lunch hour with a coworker and there were 2 ladies and no clients. I had Erica, she was very nice and friendly. I went in for a trim, my hair was EXTREMELY long… below my bra-strap…longest I have ever had it. I just wanted the dead ends trimmed up SLIGHTLY. I even gave her direction to cut off 2 inches. She ended up cutting a little more than 6. I didnt notice right away because I am blind, and had to take off my glasses, but she was also doing long layers, so I figured that was the length of the layer. NOPE… she went sissor happy and i wanted to cry. Terrible. So upsetting.
Be careful – they are sissor happy… my coworker was not exactly pleased with her trim-the layers were chopped.
Guess you get what you pay for… lesson learned.
Since when did 2 inches mean 6??? WHATTTTTTTTTTT!!! don’t get it… at all… doesnt make sense :(
