Went on a rainy Sunday afternoon, so we were the only ones in the store. The guy in the store (didn’t catch his name) gave my husband a ton of personal attention and kept bringing out different options until we had the look we wanted. No pressure to buy extra accessories or to upgrade to the more expensive styles; he just wanted us to have the tux that we liked. They also were able to accommodate our request to have it tailored and ready in less than two weeks. Items were high quality and wayy less expensive than other stores we checked out. Highly recommended!

I needed a tuxedo for a fancy NYC wedding and After Hours Tuxedo Rentals delivered on all fronts. Their service was top-notch, from coming in for fitting to trying on the tux and picking it up. They have a great selection of rental tuxes, and a couple of gently worn options for purchase. I would definitely go back for another tux and highly recommend them for all of your rental needs.

You won’t be disappointed! Support a local small business and get a great experience. The staff is friendly and excellent at what they do. My fiancé was a groomsman in our friends wedding this past weekend and the Groom and all his men were fitted and supplied with tuxes here. They got everything they needed all in one place and all looked fantastic the day of the wedding. Drop off the next day was easy too! I was also told that they keep your measurements on file, so next time formal wear is needed, it’ll be hassle free and convenient!

These guys are attentive and have impeccable customer service. They have the mom and pop feel, but do an outstanding job. I got exactly the tux I was looking for and even gave me a $ 20 discount for using Unilocal.I was even allowed to drop off my tux late due to my work day running long. definitely a fan of these folks. This business is the one that finally convinced me to buy a proper, tailored tux. (Try Black Lapel, e.g.)
Despite copious measurement at rental, upon pickup I was a stunned to receive a ridiculous, sack-cloth and oversized dress shirt. Upon protest, I was given a «fitted shirt» — that is 100% polyester. Wat. The salesman tried to convince me — as a used car shucker might — that an XL was the only thing possible for a 17 neck and 35 sleeve. As if dress shirts of various sizes and measurements had not been invented. Or sold even at Walmart.
The vest was threadbare in many spots, and studs were promised but not delivered.
After Hours may be sufficient for an emergency rental, but if you care how you look, spend the $ 600 and buy a proper suit that will pay for itself many times over.
