The short girl, not sure what her name is, does a good job with eyebrows. I also got a haircut without wash which was $ 35. I thought this was expensive and it seems like everytime i go there, they change the prices they tell you. When I first went there for the first time, she charged me $ 5 and today I paid $ 12. I would watch out for this. The lady who cut my hair also made it very short even though I emphasized that I only wanted half an inch.

I don’t have much to add here… this is a wonderful no frills spot. I’ve been coming here for years to get my eyebrows done– yes, it’s not the most attractive salon but that’s also why the prices are some of the lowest in the area! For great service at a great price, check out Beauty Fair.

Was looking for a good eyebrow place in Arlington and finally found one! Anju was great and def MUCH better than any mall stand. Can’t beat the price either — $ 10!

I’ve been coming to Anju for nearly 5 years now. She’s the best kept secret in Arlington! While most reviews praise her for her eyebrow threading, I come for her wonderful facials. She cleans, exfoliates and nourishes my skin so that I leave with a clear, well-​hydrated complexion. And it’s so relaxing! I often fall asleep while she works her magic! Highly recommended!

anju is the best. she does amazing eyebrows… i just cut one star for the pricing of upper lip… otherwise it deserve 5 star just for the amazing work of anju.

Sigh! Dropping the rating for this place after my last visit. I got my lip and brow threaded and the lady did a poor job. I asked for a simple clean up. She removed part of my brow and tried to cover it with blank pencil. I thought that was bad, but when I got hone I realized she nicked my lip and it was bleeding.
Avoid the older woman if you do go here! I will continue to try the young lady who usually does my lip n brow.

I went to get threaded and the threader was getting her hair dyed and told me I needed to wait. Uuuhhh no.

I’ve had a few not so great experiences the last three or so visits. Anju has been very speedy and a little rough. The shaping hasn’t been up to par. and worse, I’m breaking out horribly after each visit. I have to time my visits for days I don’t have to be seen in public for at least forty-​eight hours, though the break outs last a week. And I don’t have bad skin! Either the thread is dirty or she is going too quickly and really irritating my pores.

3 stars for the threading. 1 star for the herbal facial.
Paying $ 10 for eyebrow threading is not a good price off Columbia Pike. I have had the same experience for less and within 3 miles from Beauty Fair. I do appreciate that Reena has never made my eyebrows too thin. She understands what it means to «clean up.»
However, my last visit was horrible. Since I enjoyed the previous eyebrow threading, I decided to have my entire face threaded and then finish with this herbal facial that Reena boasts. Worst. Mistake. Ever.
She missed so many spots rushing even though I ensured her that I wasn’t in a hurry to return to work. I can still feel strands of hair that she skipped over. While my facial felt decent while she was performing it, my skin has suffered. She improperly removed blackheads and I now have blemishes from her actions. In addition, my face broke out into what appears adult-​like acne.
Apparently, she knew this might happen because I do remember the warning of «it will be worse before it gets better». My skin hasn’t been this terrible since I was a teenager. I should have stuck with my normal threading girl off Columbia Pike and my normal facial (with chemicals).
What angers me even more. My total cost for this nightmare was $ 110. $ 70 for the worst facial I have ever received. And $ 40 for a full face of threading. Are you serious!!!

What can I say, Unilocal saved my face. I had no idea this was here until I Unilocaled it… came immediately after I saw the good reviews and cost factor.
Got my monstrous chewbacca eyebrows threaded. (I’m lazy, ok? only do it like every couple of years LOL)
I did have to wait a little because she was helping someone, but the actual process took about 5 – 10 minutes. Yes, I was in pain, but who wouldnt be, when thousands of tiny little hairs on your face are getting ripped out one-​by-​one between two threads!!! probably why I dont do it that often.
When I do it again, though, I’m coming here. $ 10, quick, easy, clean job.

I love the service here. The ladies are so nice, and fast. It’s a really good deal for $ 10. I work late and miss them open most of the time, but it’s worth coming to the Pike on the weekend for a good quality threading. I’ve only had threading done. Has anyone else used their nail or waxing services?

Thanks to Unilocal for introducing me to this place. Now it’s the only place I want to go for eyebrow threading. It’s easy to get in and out with no appointment needed and it’s only $ 10.

Came here for threading and she did a great job on them! They were symmetrical and they only cost me $ 10. Unfortunately they charged $ 1 extra to use my credit card. But still ended up being cheaper than the kiosks at the mall. Great deal.

I’ve been coming here on and off for several years for threading services. I started making an effort about 6 months ago to come in regularly. Yes, threading certain areas can be painful (I usually need a tissue to wipe away the tears that form in the corners of my eyes), but it’s worth it for the end result.
It’s hard at first, if you’ve over-​plucked your brows for years, to get them close to normal again. With a little help from some awesome brow powder, my eyebrows look pretty nice, now!

I got my eyebrows threaded her last week. There were 2 women threading, they were both very friendly and my brows look great. I waited about 10 mins while they were finishing up some other customers. It was $ 10. This will be my new go-​to spot!

Anju is fantastic! I wouldn’t let anyone else thread my eyebrows! Highly recommend her. And it’s only $ 10 for your brows. Great deal! And she’s the sweetest, little thing! I recently moved to Austin, TX and when I’m back in the DC area I make it a point to stop in to see Anju!

I found Beauty Fair through Unilocal and decided to give it a shot. I love the results… More than waxing actually. Beauty Fair has off street parking outside and they stay open pretty late in the evening. It’s clean and bright. You have to be buzzed in but it doesn’t feel sketchy, which is what I was worried about when I read that on Unilocal.Anju is great!

I live in the neighborhood and have been going here on and off for about a year. They do a good job and it’s competitively cheap. Parking is easy, it’s in a small strip of stores that always seems kind of shady but never dangerous. Sometimes when you arrive, even if they’re open, the door is locked and the beauticians are in the back.
I had to take off a star because they charge extra to use your credit card. C’mon, this is the 21^st century, who carries cash anymore? I wouldn’t mind so much, except that the first time they started charging extra they didn’t tell me there was a fee to use my card until after they swiped it, that was a little rude of them.
I’ll admit my brows look great after I go here and it’s convenient enough that I’ll continue to get em done here.

I must admit, this place is not exactly a sight for sore eyes; however, the threading services is the best I’ve had since moving to the DMV. The older lady was very professional and it only took her about 10 minutes to create the perfect eyebrows.

Oh and I would like to add that if you don’t make your skin tight (stretching your eyelid) then of course you probably get nicked and pinched.

This is an OK place if you need a quick eyebrow threading. I saw the reviews on Unilocal and needed a quick threading on Memorial Day, and they were open. It wasn’t the best threading I’ve had done — she did nick my skin underneath my eyebrow, and the shaping left something to be desired — but it’s good enough when you’re in a time crunch. It’s definitely cheap, and I was glad to find a convenient location that was open on a day when most places weren’t.
