Wow — I wish I could’ve experienced the positive reviews these other Unilocalers have, but I just called and asked to get an appointment with Dr. Bergamini and was abruptly told she had nothing open until February (it’s early September now, for those keeping score). Guess my search for a new PCP will have to continue.

Finding a Doctor is always daunting. Finding a great Doctor is amazing. I have been going to her for 3 years now and I she is very patient when I have questions and willing to discuss treatment options with me without being judgemental or pushy.

I have been seeing Dr Bergamini for years now and she is without question the BEST As a primary care doctor. I just completed my annual physical and she takes so much time to ask questions, discuss my health, recommend ideas to keep me healthy she is amazing!!!

I have been going to Dr Bergamini for years. She was with me through my single years and never once judged me or lectured me about anything. Now that I am married (with 2 kids), I recommended her to my husband— he also loves her.
The only thing I wish she had was an e-​mail— I hate leaving a message for her and hoping she will catch me that evening when she returns her calls.

I agree completely with the last (favorable) review. It is nice to have a physician that actually listens and gives you the time you need.
Another plus is that she is in a practice with some other good people. If she is not free to see you right away, there is a good chance that someone else will be.
I just moved to Alexandria, but I will still go to Dr. Bergamini in Arlington.

Dr. Bergamini is a great primary care doc! She listens, takes the time to talk with you, and follows up thoroughly. Great office staff as well!
