They have Southern California style Carne Asada burritos. Very good meat was tender. A little bit pricey at seven bucks a burrito so I only give it four stars just based on that. Plus need to try more stuff that’s on the menu.

Great little hole in the wall place. If you want real Mexican food this is the place. Only downfall is it’s not really a sit down restaurant so we always get it to-go. Staff is always extremely nice and friendly.

My friend and I recently moved to the area and we just happened on this place. The food is excellent and the service is amazing. The guy is super friendly and even gave us a complimentary serving of nachos when he realized we were new to the area and this was our first time there.

A decent take out burrito place with a menu of other items as well. Its near my house, so I thought I would check it out, and I’m glad I did. Run by the nicest people of any restaurant in town I can recall. . I will come back just for that reason alone. The burrito. . was good, but sadly nothing to drive across town for. I am a fan of Freebirds, and even Chipotle, and both are much better. But I like to support the hard working little guy, and they don’t try harder than these nice folks.

We visited Burrito Bueno last week for lunch, and it had some good things going for it, but I don’t know that I can really agree with previous reviewers about it being as good as it gets. They actually only have one table, which we were lucky enough to snag. That said, it might have been better to take the food home because the A/C situation in there was fairly dire. But, let’s get to the food. We each ordered a beef fajita plate. It comes with rice & beans and tortillas, pretty standard. The beans were extremely runny and had a weird smoky flavor to them. The best thing about the beans were the two homemade corn tortilla chips sticking out of them(those were yum!) The rice was actually a bit better than average, it had a mild but pleasant flavor. You got a LOT of rice on your plate, the fajitas were partially covering some of it. The fajitas were made with onions and green peppers, and a lot of them. Although not as much as it appeared at first since they were partly sitting on rice. The fajitas weren’t bad, but they weren’t great either. Standard non-fatty skirt steak, slightly overdone, not enough marinade I suspect. I might have rounded up to a 4 based on good service and the yummy homemade chips in the beans, if the tortillas had been fresh, but they tasted just like storebought tortillas. I know it’s tough for a small place to do everything themselves, but they definitely need a better tortilla source. That said, the prices were quite reasonable(about $ 9 for the beef fajita plates), and the owners were very friendly, and the food was decent though not spectacular. If you live or work nearby and want takeout that’s better than fastfood this is a very good option. I wouldn’t call it a destination however.

My grandfather used to say, follow the truckers, they know where to eat. Well apply that to the local Mexicans and you’ll end up at Burrito Bueno. This is like a 2 table joint with really cheap and really good Mexican food. They marinate their own meat, make their own beans, etc. I’ve been here about 4 times now and it’s always good, and always dirt cheap. The guy that runs the place is super friendly and he’ll be seeing me support his restaurant as long as he’s there.
