Wow 4 years to respond. This is a reply to Chelsea’s Response. Well as a Business Owner you should never tell anyone that they are«not a fit» for your business in this day and age. I work with small business owners everyday promoting positive customer service to grow their business and I know they would of never told someone who is about to spend $ 300 or more that they are«not a fit».

The only reason I gave two stars was because the sweet girl who did my daughters tea party did a fantastic job. I wish I could rate the woman working the checkout desk(whom I can only assume is the owner) separately. The owner was completely unfriendly and downright rude. We were moving out of state within two weeks of our 6 year olds birthday so we did a very low-key tea party with just a few friends for her. They loved the tea, but when it was over, and she had three whole gifts to open, the girl who did their tea said she could open her gifts in the back room so that the other children, who they had grouped us with, wouldn’t see. My daughter began to open a card and the owner came flying around the corner and loudly reprimanded me in front of our entire group, and said that she thought she had«made it very clear on her website that gifts are NOT allowed,» and that we needed to leave. I politely apologized and ushered our group to exit, the owner stood over me as my toddler fussed over being put into a stroller and said«what can I do.» As in «.to get you the heck out of here.» Not as a helpful gesture. I couldn’t believe how angry and rude she was over this. Not only had I not seen her website since I purchased the tea thru a groupon, but we had just been told by the girl that it would be fine to go open in the back room. I don’t go around intentionally dodging rules at establishments. Every one of the moms in our group agreed it was outrageous, and none of us will EVER be back.
