Chili’s Grill & Bar

Let me start out by saying this isn’t the place I would suggest spending your weekend but it was late, we were hungry and it’s open until 12 on Saturdays. The host was quirky but nice and sat us promptly. After seated, we waited about 20 – 25 minutes to even be greeted by our waiter and asked about drinks. It’s a good thing I actually enjoy the company and conversation of my boyfriend because that made it not so bad to wait so long when you’re hungry. Finally, after an additional 10 minutes, our drinks and appetizer arrived. I’m not exaggerating about the time frames here. We ordered food and that took an average length of time, about 10 minutes which is totally acceptable. None of my complaints are with the food… It was all tasty and as expected from a chain restaurant. My complaint is with the wait staff. Our waiter was completely distracted and/​or absent for most of our stay. We asked for little things, the two times that we actually saw him and he forgot everything. We ordered dessert on the little kiosk, on the table and he had the host bring us a paper check even though there is an option to pay right on the kiosk. I can’t speak for the other wait staff but from what I viewed, they all seemed a bit more interested in anything other than the patrons. Our waiter, whose name I will not mention has very poor oral hygiene. I’m not saying that to be mean or because of the bad service. I’m saying that because his breathe was genuinely appalling. You could smell it from many feet away and it made me lose my appetite a little bit. I hope this guys service improves so he can go to the dentist with his tip money.

The inside is fairly dark and it is usually somewhat empty whenever I go to visit. The staff is pretty friendly and they seem to have made some updates to the inside. All tables now have the gadget on them where you can play games on a touch screen, order drinks, and eventually pay your tab.
When I do decide to go to Chili’s I know what I am getting — consistently decent food at what used to be a pretty fair price. However, this last trip I realized that prices on almost everything have been increased. Almost every dinner entrée is over $ 10 now and I don’t believe the quality of the food justifies the price increase.

I recently came in and had the margarita grilled chicken, served atop rice and black beans. Delicious. Chicken and rice was moist, tender, and flavorful. The beans were quite bland. I ordered a side of corn on the cob, which is my favorite from here lol. Chips and salsa were surprisingly pretty good, and I’m picky when it comes to salsa. The hubby had a black bean burger with spinach/​tomato side. He said the burger was «ok» but the veggies were nasty. I ordered a tropical sunrise for a drink, love the pineapple, a little strong, almost $ 8 though.

Staff is friendly and service was decently fast. The wait time was surprisingly short, which makes me wanna come back. The food was good, especially if you can catch them during their 2 for $ 20 deal! Every time I’ve gone, I’ve had nothing but neutral to good experiences! There was one waitress who has a septum ring who is ON point! Really liked her service.

By far the best customer service I experience each time I go there. Their staff is consistent and by far the friendliest! Ask for Jim, Kasey, Ashley, Wendell!

Cheyanna did a great job! Chili’s is one of my go to places for dinner with my three boys, & we will definitely ask for her when we go back!

Wow! They really modernized this restaurant and it looks great! Really enjoyed using the computer to place order, play games and pay my bill when I was ready. That being said, the food was very good. I had the guacamole burger and fries and they were delicious!!!

Going with the app and 2 entries for $ 20. Just ordered. I am a reallly picky eater so it makes me nervous when the waiter doesn’t write anything down. We will see if it comes out as planned!
App of cheese fries came out. Hubby said it was delicious.
Food came about 10 – 15 min after ordering. And everything was correct! I was pleasantly surprised with our visit considering the reviews, but it was great!

Giving it a star cause I have to so I can leave a review. Let me start waitress was great. Mngr was very unprofessional. My spouse ordered nachos. After biting into it he realized it wasn’t a stale chip he was tryin to chew it was broken glass from a plate. Found other pieces in plate as well. Mngr came to tell us it was just broken glass not a bug. That my facial reaction was too much. I let him know broken glass is a big deal and I react the way I want. It wasn’t packed so not like customers knew what was going on. I told him he came to table all wrong and I was thru talking. He had waitress comp it all and went into hiding. I will be complaining to corporate. Biting into glass is very serious. Glad he didn’t cut his inside of mouth or swallowed it. Won’t be back.

This place is near in the restaurant area for the cowboys stadium. I have been coming to this chilis since the 80s. They have remodeled it and updated it since then. The food is about the same.
This can be a very loud place. There are a few TVs to catch a game. They have a descent bar, but the service can vary.
Cleanliness can be hit or miss. I noticed that they do not wash the holders that the fajitas sides come on. They had old food stuck to it. That can really turn down a food review
In all, if you are in the area and need some place to take a group of people, then this place will be OK.

Waiter was good but my food came in a old dirty plate. Had to seen it back. The app was good but I will never order that again.

A bit sad I have to write a review for a chain restaurant… but…
When we first sat down, the waiter was really nice and prompt with our drinks and appetizer order. Then he gave us a good amount of time to let us chat and then took our order. We chatted some more, and while the time to have the food to get to our table was long, we didn’t mind as we enjoyed each others’ companies. The food came out, and I was the only one didn’t get my fajitas. That’s totally fine, I thought maybe it will come at a later time, as he had five entrees on his tray. So I sat and wait. Twenty minutes passed, and still no food in front of me. My friends were already done with their food, and by that point, my boyfriend got up to ask the waiter about my food. It arrived probably within five minutes. Food was more towards the hot end than warm, which is good, but by that point, my appetite was gone. I still managed to eat maybe a quarter of it. Very sad about the fact everyone was done eating and had to wait on me to finish.

I’ve come to this chili’s several times for dinner and the occasional lunch. The last time I went our table was not clean and had to be cleaned after we had already sat down. Then the waitress we had barely came by and only came once to refill water. One of my guests asked for tabasco sauce and she forgot about it until she was almost done. The food was okay and nothing special. The restaurant is bit more on the noisy side which I didnt really mind. Everytime I’ve come here they have consistently provided poor customer service and it’s almost as if they just don’t care about running a restaurant no matter what. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a place with a «we just want you to eat, pay, not bother us, and leave a good tip regardless of the obvious lack of customer service and hygiene» attitude, go on in and have a perfectly good time.

Dirty, slow & inconsiderate service.
–1 every table in the bar was dirty. Why did the sit me at a dirty table? And did they really clean it up after I was sitting there? Eww!
–1 I wanted ranch for my fries, more water. Did a server come help? NO! They just avoided eye contact
–1 The bread on my burger was not fresh, old, falling apart. My tummy start to hurt immediately after eating it. :(
–1 If all the tables are dirty and service is so negligent then I don’t even want to know how the kitchen is run.

Best service at a chili’s so far

A Chili’s is a Chili’s: overly salted food and a noisy atmosphere. Nothing more to mention for this location except that service is consistently slow and lackadaisical.

I have been to Chili’s only once. I had a wonderful salad there, one of the best ever, and I liked the atmosphere a lot. And the best part is, my date (first and last one — sweat on her upper lip, yuck!) treated.
