Why must this place pre-fill drinks only to have whatever ice there was melt? Why is there no iced tea? Why is there no Korean BBQ? Why is today Bring your kid to work day? Why does the kid get to control the TV remote? Why does he have to watch cartoons with the volume at 10? Why is TGI Fridays gone? It has become impossible to have a nice, simple meal or drink at Washington National Airport. Sam and Harry’s is slow and expensive. Legal Seafood is all that and bad. Cosi is underwhelming and slow. Update-I walked by this location today on my way to anywhere else, I noticed that the Korean BBQ that mgmt claimed not to have because of a changing menu is still on the menu. They replied to my review and took extreme liberties with the facts on every point. FAIL!

I understand this is at the airport but still a small level of customer service should be expected. They got my order wrong. However they took the buzzer and my receipt. So now I am too far away to keep an eye on my luggage and have no proof that I paid or what I ordered. The manager seemed very overwealmed and it wasn’t busy. I had to tell them what I had ordered as they had no idea. That’s all ok but what gets me is a simple I’m sorry or thanks for being patient but instead just a bitchy look and almost toss you your bag. It’s a management thing for sure. Flying is stressful enough getting a bite to eat should be the easy part.

Convenient and friendly staff here. Not a bad place to stop at an airport.

A regular Cosi place with their signature squagles options. I ordered a cream cheese squagle and I had to say it was a little too salty for my taste. My sister ordered a sausage and egg frittata squagle, which she enjoyed. Similarly, my mother ordered a bacon croissant, which was just ok. We only stopped by because it was the closest place to our departure gate. The place was clean and nice. Yet, there was only 2 employees. The service was slow. Thus, if you are in a rush for a plane, I would not recommend stopping by.

Make sure that you check your receipt for your order, to make sure that they take your order correctly and that they fulfill your order. I had to repeat my order to the cashier several times before he/she got it correctly. When we got our order(after about 15 mins), we were missing one breakfast sandwich and one sandwich was wrong. When we mentioned it, we were thinking of canceling the rest of the order in fear that someone from the staff would spit in our food. The sandwich was over seasoned. Also, the coffee tasted like hot water… We should have gone to Starbucks. The eatery definitely needs(cashiers and kitchen staff) who are better communicators.

Two words, Overpriced oatmeal. The least they could do was get my order correct. When I pointed out it was wrong the woman acted like she didn’t believe me and she and the prep cook had an attitude. They took their time and I was over it. The oatmeal was good but next time I will just head to legal seafood.

I have been here three times for breakfast so far and they have done an excellent job on my Egg Florentine every time. Their coffee is always satisfying too. And the price is right.

I LOVE Cosi but this one is definitely not my favorite. They never seem to have one item that I want and they don’t give you chips with your sandwich if you do the«taste two» which other cosi’s do. I wouldn’t necessarily be writing this review, but I happened to just go to this Cosi to get my usual signature salad and chicken pesto melt but they were out of pesto chicken. So I decided to get the tandoori chicken which I’ve had a long time ago but remember it being tasty. What I got was a sandwich with chicken that looked like it was soaked in pink food coloring(why was it pink?), roasted red peppers and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. A pretty disappointing little sandwich. The signature salad never disappoints though!

This particular location never gets your order right the first time. When you bring this to their attention, they act like you’re speaking gibberish to them.

Since no one has actually rated this place 2 stars I’ll go ahead and do it… It wasn’t 1 star but… If you knew me personally, you would know that I order brie everything. Naturally and excitedly I ordered the turkey brie sandwich. I knew I didn’t want anything in the terminal. Unfortunately for me, I went through security, then settled in at my gate… Bit into my flat, dry sandwich… Which was a chicken bacon cheddar sandwich. First… Cheddar??? :’(uncontrollable crying Then…(Don’t judge me) I don’t eat bacon… So I nearly spit everything out when I tasted it. Come on guys… There weren’t that many people and I still had to wait a bit… And then I didn’t even get my correct order(I did notice another reviewer say they rarely get orders right). Some may say… Really? You’re trapped in the airport you have to take what you can get. Not true really… I’m just getting Potbelly’s next time.

Good place to get a healthy sandwich, soup, or pizza before or after your flight. I was bummed that TGI Fridays is not at the airport anymore, but I was more happy to find this place. I had originally only thought that this was a coffee shop, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Meat medallions? Yes. How funny in a sandwich – and how delicious! I asked for advice on which sandwich to get and was recommended the Italian. Good recommendation. The meat is so tender and flavors stand out. Given that I typically eat hot-dogs and Chinese food in the airport(don’t know why I do this to myself!), this was a fantastic change-up!

Chain place at an airport! Whoo hoo! I stopped in here for some dinner before my flight back to the ‘Burgh. I’d’a landed at PIT well after dinnertime and I’d’a been famished by that point. The Chicken Tandoori melt on whole grain bread was good enough – a notch or two above Subway or Quizno’s, I’d say. But holy cow, the size of these sandwiches! I wish they sold half orders. I would have loved to have cut my sandwich in half and saved part of it for later. But because Cosi’s is located outside the secure area, I had to eat my sandwich in a hurry if I wanted to catch my plane. Which by the way was one of those little puddle jumpers that USAirways Express is so fond of these days.

I’m a big fan of Cosi… I love their sandwiches and cookies. But this location has to be the worst Cosi I’ve ever been to. In the past couple of years I’ve eaten here a many times and literally have about a 50% success rate on actually receiving the sandwich I ordered. But I don’t want to send it back because it took me 10 – 15 minutes to get the sandwich, and that was when no one else was waiting! Yes, the same sandwiches that are made in less than five minutes at other, much busier Cosis take over ten minutes here. Plus, the other night I ordered a sandwich at 8 pm and was told I couldn’t pay cash because he’d already emptied the drawer. Um… you close at 9? Like I said, I love Cosi, but I think I’ll avoid this location from now on… it just tasks me too much.

I love the location of Cosi(before security check, plenty of natural light from windows) but the service was slow for my order and the sandwich was very dry. I did like being near an electrical outlet. The prices seemed the same as at normal Cosi locations.

Great place to eat some semi healthy food in the airport. It definitely beats the overpriced pizza, burger, or Chinese places. The only bad thing is you either have to eat it before you go thru security, or if you are inside security already, you will have to go outside to get it. It just might be worth it though. I like the Pick Two option. The portions are just right. Can’t beat the Signature Salad and any of the sandwiches, I haven’t had a bad one yet. I also had their breakfast there recently too which was also pretty tasty. I had the TBM Omelette Squagel(Square Bagel, yeah if they didn’t have a picture of it I wouldn’t have known what it was either). It was pretty good, I really liked the TBM signature spread they put on there. It had a nice flavor to it, a little spicy but not too hot.

Definitely the best salad to be had in the airport, and possibly the best dinner altogether. It’s some sort of inferior Cosi franchise so they don’t take the Cosi cards and such that real franchises do, and they have a narrower menu of options, but the classic salads(I like Cosi Cobb and Chicken Caesar; my wife likes Signature) are still darn tasty.

A great place to relax before going through security at Reagan National. Reagan is one of my favorite airports as it seems very passenger-oriented, and having somewhere to sit and /or say goodbye to friends is a great thing as there is no need to calculate in your head just exactly how much time is needed to check-in before your flight. If you decide to get to the airport a little bit early, there’s somewhere to sit and people watch or plane watch and enjoy good coffee or tea. I thought the tea(basically a tea bag and hot water) was a little pricey but that’s usually the case at the airport and not a reason not to enjoy Cosi at Reagan National.

Finally a nice place to hang out before security at Reagan National! This Cosi is on the same floor as security and information and is right next to the Metro rail walkway near the Usair end of the Terminal. It is very convenient to hang out in if you are coming from the metro or parking garage and you are flying Usair. The Usair ticket printing machines are right around the corner at airport end of the metro walkway. They have ample seating that is not squashed together like the Starbucks seating is upstairs that is crammed next to the American and United ticketing counters with no view. At the Cosi you face a three story high wall of windows that face the jet ways and tarmac. Nice light and nice view! A perfect use for this space!

Pizza Hunting in Reagan National Airport… After being disappointed in the pizza offering at the Verizon Center, I was looking for some redemption. It was lunch time and I was strolling around looking for some chow. I was way early for my flight so I was up for just about everything. I spotted a delicious looking pepperoni pizza walking by Cosi. I have never heard of this chain so I decided that it was time to loose my Cosi Cherry. I went for the pepperoni flatbread pizza with a bottle of Coke. The Coke was a little warm but was still fine. It just sucks you end up with a 20oz coke when all you want is 12oz. Geezus nothing like filling you up on empty calories Coca Cola Corp. I don’t do diet since it gives me a headache. The pizza arrived pretty fast and looked great. I enjoyed the cheese and the sauce had great plump tomatoes but was a bit ordinary. The pepperonis were good and not too salty if that is possible. Cosi pizza was greatly appreciated comfort food that hit the right spot.
