Had the worst experience ever, today at Jared’s when My wife and I picked up her watch that had to be sent out by Jared’s to Movado in order to change out the dead battery. The lady that was attending me was a blonde, I didn’t catch her name. I noticed she didn’t present the watch to me so I could inspect it. She was very shady and packed it into a zip lock bag and handed me a form to sign that said, «I have inspected the merchandise and that it is in good condition.» Well it turns out that the watch came back extremely mistreated. Half of the watch band was so scuffed up and dull that it no longer had a shine or chrome appearance to it. We informed the store before we left that this was not the way we left the watch and trusted them to keep it in good hangs. The store manager did not approach us to handle the situation. It was handled very poorly by the blonde woman who was not a manager, she was only an hourly associate. She kept blaming my wife for the way the watch came back, and was so sure that was how the watch was dropped off. I was so disgusted by the way we were treated. They were not willing to admit that the place they outsourced my wife’s watch had damaged and scuffed it all up. Her watch now looks gun metal, instead of having a shiny chrome finish. My wife and I have been loyal customers at this store for years. We’ve purchased watches, diamond wedding bands, diamond ear rings and this is how they treat their loyal customers. But they sure as heck have no problem taking our money, but when it comes down to admitting to, fixing they’re mistake and taking care of the customer, they will turn on you and you’ll mean nothing to them. Oh and get this, the blonde lady at Jared’s even showed us a photo that Movado took of the watch when they received it. And it was not scuffed or dull. It was in the condition that we left it in. And that woman STILL denied that she saw a difference from the picture and the watch we were holding! My wife and I are very disappointed. We really feel like we’ve been screwed over. Please do not do business here.

Do not buy anything from this place! They need a lesson in customer service… have no idea how to treat a customer! They do NOT stand behind their product! They will break it off in you any way they can. The warranty they provide is terrible and you better bet if you are not in there every 6 months to get your jewelry inspected they will not cover a darn thing on your jewelry! Nothing but a bunch of slime ball crooks who care nothing about customer satisfaction! I will never buy anything from here in the future nor will I refer anyone to Jared’s.

AVOIDTHISPLACE. Bought a pair of diamond earrings as an anniversary gift. You’d think that for $ 300 the clasps on the earrings would stay put. Nope. Had to take it in multiple times for a repair/exchange. Even after getting the earrings fixed/replaced they were still becoming loose and falling off. You could legitimately buy a pair of $ 5 earrings at Walmart with better clasps. One of the earrings ended up falling off and getting lost. Called the store to see if they could do anything about selling me a shoddy product, they said no and directed me to the corporate office. After being on hold for nearly half an hour they told me that they’d have to have evidence of a repair done in order to do anything about the lost earring. When I had taken it in for repairs, I was given no form of receipt or anything else. The representatives at the store made the repair out to be something complimentary so I was given to reference number or anything else showing I had taken it in for repair. Since someone at the store dropped the ball, corporate wouldn’t stand behind their lousy product. The representative on the phone didn’t seem to comprehend the fact that the repair wasn’t documented at the store. Huge waste of money and time, terrible service. I thought about going here for an engagement ring but after this experience there is no way in hell I’d set foot in another Jared’s store or any of their affiliates. Absolutely pathetic. What kind of jewelry company sells you a faulty pair of earrings and doesn’t even bother to stand behind their product? I had the worst experience here. I got engaged May 23rd. The best day of my life. My ring came from Jared’s and it was sized a little too big for my finger. I decide to spend one of my Saturday’s getting it sized to fit my finger. I dropped it off at the Arlington location and I was told to come back in two hours. Once I returned, I came back to a broken ring that couldn’t be repaired!!! My engagement party was on Wednesday. I was so upset. The technician that was working on my ring looked as if he was still in high school. It was not a professional staff that should be handling diamonds. The manager was not helpful at ALL. I live in Corinth, TX. I asked if the ring could be ordered and ship to a location closer to my house… she said NO. I would have to drive out there to place the order. She did not provide any customer service at all after destroying my ring! While I was there I called the Lewisville location that was closer to me and got excellent service and they ordered the ring for me while I was at the Arlington location. This was something the«General Manager» VERONICAALLEN could have done. She has very poor customer service skills and lack professional… or she could just be racist!!! My fiancé and I has bought me earrings, necklaces, watches and rings from Jared’s and we DONOT deserve this type of treatment from a company we spend money with!!! I was very appalled and upsetting about the treatment and not to mention how I’m not going to have a ring to show off at my engagement party!!!

Not only this location, but every location is extremely pushy. Unfortunately, I fell victim to them and purchased a diamond necklace and their so-called«amazing» Leo diamond solitaires. Took them in to have the value assessed, they aren’t even worth together the price I paid for one piece. Very disappointed. Also, went in to get the chain shortened on my necklace because I had purchased the warranty, the woman argued that that wasn’t in the warranty. Finally she honored it only because I ended up having to purchase one on the earrings because I was sold earrings that had busted posts. So to have that work done, they were not on time for when the earrings were promised, two days late in fact. Never purchasing here again.
