My wife and I tried this place on a whim and it was pretty good. Not the best Mexican food we’ve had in this area but definitely worth a visit. The portions are great for the price and the service is super friendly and courteous.

I have just moved here in June from living in a border city in West Texas. I have had enough Tex-Mex food to last a lifetime. Finding this little place was a breath of fresh air. Their food is one of the more authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve tried. Their salsas were spicy and flavorful. I ordered the Menudo on a Tuesday(rare, usually a weekend only soup) It was delicious! ! Full of flavor, clean taste. My husband tried the Mexican plate with 2 red enchiladas and 1 crunchy taco. He also liked the taste of the food and the spice. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. We definitely will return.

Entitled«Mexican Restaraunt» on the sign outside, this random little hole in the wall offers some of the better authentic Mexican food available in the area. If you don’t speak Spanish you may have a tougher time communicating with the staff but they are always nice. As far as pricing goes it’s tough to beat … most of the large combos are about 7 bucks!

Hit or miss. Some days this place is spot on and some days it isn’t. I think it just depends on your order. The breakfast burritos are super cheap and are always yummy so I recommend those. The chips and salsa are wonderful. Just be careful with your main course selection.

This place is a diamond in the rough. With all of the 2nd rate mexican restaurants in Arlington and surrounding towns this place really shines. La Poblana is run by a mother and daughter, and the daughter doesn’t speak english which can make ordering a little challenging if you don’t speak spanish, but she tries hard and always has a smile on her face. The food here is excellent. This place as the only real authentic mexican food in the area. Their steak tacos are amazing. The meat is tender with plenty of flavor. When you sit down you are served salsa and chips, but not only 1 salsa, you get 3 different kinds! Each salsa is a different flavor and has a different level of heat. They also have mexican coca-cola which is made with pure cane sugar and not the crap which is put in the soda you buy at your local grocery store. Their guacamole is fantastic, and their prices aren’t bad either. If you are looking for a great mexican meal this is your place!
