Lily’s Florist

My boyfriend got me flowers from here as a surprise for my birthday, so this is mainly just a review of the presentation and delivery.
They were delivered to my office around lunch time and my office does not allow people without a badge upstairs or for things to be dropped off, so I was called several times (during a meeting-​thank goodness I was even in the building at the tjme) by the delivery person to come get the flowers. I had to run downstairs and across the street (boyfriend gave the other building number as we have two buildings) to get them because she had been waiting there for a while apparently. The flowers were pretty and lived for a while so no complaints there. Something else I wasn’t a fan of was that my boyfriend’s note was handwritten by someone at the shop with girly handwriting which honestly just made it kind of weird to read. I would suggest typing it out for customers in the future

I am discussed with this florist. I needed to order flowers for a funeral. I looked for a company with good reviews so I called Lily’s and was told that because it was Valentine’s weekend they could not do funeral flowers. How totally wrong is this you know the person who died could have been my or someone elses Valentine. How insensitive could this policy be at a tme of loss. SO PLEASE TELL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT USES THIS FLORIST NOT TO DIE AROUND VALENTINES WEEKEND BECAUSE THEY CAN’T OR RATHER WON’T MAKE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ON VALENTINES WEEKEND.
