We were on our way home and wanted to try somewhere new in Arlington. We pulled in and the restaurant just looks like a hall to the days in next door. The parking lot is a little dumpy but hey its that part of Arlington. We walked in and was told to sit anywhere our waitress was fast and accurate. You would think that there drinks would have been on special because we got there around happy hour but no, I ordered a $ 8.00 margarita and my boyfriend ordered a $ 9.00 Jack and coke. Moving on there were 3 hot sauce brought to the table 2 of them were horrible the green one taste like cactus and the red one I don’t even know the 3rd one was more of a pico, it was bland. So far not impressed but then the restaurant redeemed itself We ordered the Fajitas for 2 it came with steak chicken and shrimp, it also came with onions, and beans anything else cheese guac are all extra. There Fajitas were really good the tortillas were good as well. The only thing I dont quite get is why are bill was over $ 70 for 2? hmm maybe we should stick to our usual«Marionos? hmmmm

My wife and I came in to have lunch on a Saturday afternoon. This place is basically a local neighborhood Mexican sports bar that serves really good authentic Mexican food. When locals congregate here, you know you found a good spot. I would say it was about half-full on Saturday at 2pm. My wife had street tacos and I had a chicken breast type of plate.(One of the downsides of not knowing Spanish) The street tacos were simple, made with fresh ingredients and very tasty. I am not a big fan or corn tortillas but the flavors all came out beautifully and corn flavors was not over powering at all. My chicken breast was marinated in a tomato like sauce. I was very impressed. Chicken was firm yet tender and accompanied by fresh vegetables and various sides and tortillas. And of course we shared this massive margarita. You do not need to worry about much of anything after drinking that. I would absolutely recommend this place if you want a good neighborhood Mexican restaurant!

Staying at the days in hotel which conveniently has this restaurant inside. I know they are not officiated but this is so convenient. I’m giving this 5 stars for the food and convenience. It is a Mexican restaurant so you can expect just that, but it is really good food and full bar. I’d recommend this hotel just off the fact the restaurant is inside.

This is a hole in the for sure! Attached to a hotel… Yes the side where all the cars are at. If you’re not Mexican don’t feel intimidated, the staff is friendly and very welcoming. Atmosphere: like I said… It’s a hole in the wall. Dingy, soccer décor, and looks like my old blind uncle decorated it. There plenty of tv’s and soccer on everyone one of them –_– it’s not too bad just don’t expect abuelos. Service: slow slow and more slow. Friendly and more slow. I didn’t mind the wait since I was with good company. Wait for food was about 30 mins Food and drinks: now here’s where this place earned its stars. STICKWITHTHETRADITIONAL!!! Look to the Mexican on the left and your right and order what they ordered!!! It will never fail. If you don’t listen to my advise you will end up with shrimp nachos and the shits for the next week. They put this on the menu to keep the hippies away. Not true, but just seems like a horrible combination. Order this: Shrimp cocktail Fajitas, yes they are real good Molcajete(best) Fried fish Milanesa Soups Tacos, Tortas and sopes Oh yeah drinks… Yes you guest it, PINCHE tequila!!! Yep get your fill. Micheladas are GREAT! Probably the best I’ve had in a long time. Enjoy!

This was my first time in this restaurant and the food was horrible. My cousin brought me here since she would come often with her boyfriend and the food back then was good. Apparently they change management. I had shrimp enchiladas which in there menu it stated with red sauce but they came out with yellow cheese sauce. My niece also had the flautas as and they were not good at all. The beans had no flavor and the rice did not taste good at all. The only thing we enjoyed was the chips and salsa.

Yuk Yuk Yuk And dirty… I visited here after school one day… thinking it was a seafood restaurant(they haven’t taken down the previous restaurant sign. When I realized it was TexMex I went a head and orders the shrimp nachos. All I can say is Yuk and dirty! I ended up sending it back and when I tried to order something else … all the sudden no one spoke English, eventually I left and went to KFC.

My wife and I recently went not knowing what to expect and thats just how I roll! It’s not in the best neighborhood and located in a Days Inn so I was thinking the worst but was pleasently suprised when walking in. They have approx 15TV’s on each wall. I thought i walked into Buffalo Wild Wings. My wife had Garlic Shrimp they were a good size and delicsous. The fries that came with it were hot and tasted great. I had Caldo de Rez which is a beef soup and it was AMAZING. Perfect for Cold days and hang overs. Highly recommend! Were heading back there in a few minutes and if I can pull myself away from the soup I’ll update the review.

Super delicious REAL Mexican food(not Tex-Mex). Happy Hour everyday from 6−8pm. They remodeled the inside so it looks nicer then when I first started eating here. The food is inexpensive and muy delicioso, plus the beans are to die for. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service is kind of slow. The food comes right out, but only after the waitress takes forever to come take your order. They also take forever to bring the check. But the food is so good here that it is worth the slow service.

‘The Hotel” — what a family member screams out while we are debating on where to have breakfast on the weekends. This little gem is inside a little trashy motel off Division just east of the old Six Flags Mall. Dont worry you won’t get shanked walking in, just be prepared that all the raza inside will stare at you like you are an alien. So the most important thing, the salsa. that spicy liquid heaven. you get three different types here guys! One is a crimson fire roasted with just a hit of kick– I love the little charred black bits in it. Then you get an uncooked chunky red that has no heat but packs enough flavor to make up for it. Lastly is the green– but be warned its spicy. It looks like avocado paste and people usually take a big scoop thinking its guacamole because of the color– don’t do that, please taste it first. I will admit I have only had breakfast here and all the tacos are authentic. Tortillas are homemade and always stuffed to perfection. I did snag a few bits of the sopes with pastor and it was jammin. And its cheap so even if you get something crappy who cares! Haha

Hole in the wall and those are the best kinds. Ive never had anything gross here and they bring 3 different salsas. Theyre all spicy and amazing. Eat here. you will love it

One of my clients from Mexico recommended this place. I was looking for some real Mexican food, not TexMex garbarge. This place was amazing. I got my order to go and the drive back to my office was tough because the amazing aroma of food filled my car to the point where I almost had to pull over to start eating. I ordered the flauntas which were the biggest damn flauntas I’ve ever seen. The hot sauce is great. Everything was delicious. I just wish they had a take-out menu that I could keep at my office.

Solid food at reasonable prices. Paid $ 8 and had a cheese enchilada plate with double rice. The enchiladas were decent but nothing special, but the rice was very good. Service was good too. Not a bad place to stop and eat before going to the Rangers game.

Try Strawberry. It will not disappoint. The queso is sooo good too. My brother in law eats alot and always get the super burrito. Giant and so good. Best damn Mexican food. You want real Mexican food and not that Tex-Mex bull$h!t? This is the place to go. Go where the Mexicans go. Their green hot sauce is the bomb and they bring you 4 different salsa for your chips and their chips never disappoint. The chicken fajitas are awsome but if you’re up for a challenge, eat the super burrito in one sit. I did it and fell into a coma for a week but was happy about it too. Doctors couldn’t figure out why I had a smile on my face the whole time I was out.

This place is inside a Days INN chain owned by Indians(as usual, like most motels). The restaurant is on the first floor and has all hispanic staff. The staff was friendly. THE food was great. Great cheese quesadias, and enchiladas. Two types of salsas to go with the chips. You can definitely tell there is a good cook in the kitchen. The bathrooms are in part of the days inn area. The crowd seems to be usually only hispanic, and the atmosphere even in the bar is casual and relaxed which we prefer. They have a few branches in Austin, but this seems to be only one in Dallas.

Ever been to a Mexican restaurant that only Mexicans eat in? This is exactly that. I know there are several of it’s kind in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, however, this is close to our knew home. So, it was worth a try. They did not disappoint. Considering Dona Lecha in Irving, TX as benchmark, this new discovery is OK to try again. So far, I liked the fajita al carbon(they call it the Los Jalisciences Special). My partner had a huge 16″ burrito that took forever to eat(the other half had to be boxed for a later meal.) After a long day of errands, on a cold winter afternoon, a few Dos XX bottles and some cheap Mexican grub sure fixes me.
