Drive through experience: I’m not a fan of the pre-recorded greeting, it sounds a bit muffled and garbled, then the real voice cuts in to say pretty much the same thing. My Big Mac was hot and fresh, my bottle of water was nicely chilled. I was greeted at both windows, and asked to come again. They used a large bag(4 – 6 item count, B), not sure why when all I got was a Big Mac and nothing else. Also got 5 napkins, seems a bit excessive for 1 Big Mac and 1 Bottle of water. Overall very positive experience, owner/operator should review paper costs with his staff.

Had extra time between appointments this morning, so I stopped by this place after skipping breakfast. Won’t do it again. Ordered a chicken biscuit and medium orange soda at the drive-thru. The order came up correctly on the screen, so I got my money ready. No one opened the first window that was covered with tint as I approached, so I went to the second. The woman handed me my order and paid receipt with an orange juice instead of orange soda. I explained that the drink should have been Hi-C and I had not paid yet. She stared at me for several seconds. I gave her the OJ back. Maybe a Random Act of Kindness that wasn’t. She called the manager over and they discussed the issue in Spanish for so long that I contemplated giving her the biscuit back, asking for my card and leaving. Should have done that because I was given my card back and offered the OJ again. I reminded her that I’d ordered orange soda, which she had and handed to me. The recipt should that I was charged an 99cent up-charge for the OJ that I never ordered in the first place. I said, «You’ve charged me wrong.» Both women looked at me, and the manager said that she was sorry. I gave up and drove off. Though I’m not a «take America back» kind of guy, I do think that a cashier has to have enough English in them to identify and understand a customer’s problem and a manager should have enough to be able to fix them. I shouldn’t have been eating McDonald’s anyway. Lesson learned. I understand why this is a 2-star establishment. I understand why McDonald’s is becoming irrelevant. Bring back Grimace, Mayor McCheese, and real food! Bring back customer service!

Ordered a jalapeño double and the bun was stale, there was no ranch sauce or jalapeño crisps on it, just a dry bun with cold meat and cheese. Corporate should take this store over, it is obvious that the management doesn’t care, the employees don’t care, and now… I don’t care. Won’t be back, ever. They obviously have a thing about not holding product at ServSafe temperatures, and love serving stale buns. It is only a matter of time before they poison someone.

Meh just whatever. Just like everyone else I only go to McDonald’s I’m desperate. I’ve been to this McDonald’s a couple times. Mostly in the drive-through and never inside. From outside the restaurant looks clean enough. Depending on the time you go the parking lot can be atrocious. Tonight I got lucky and is pretty vacant and I was in and out pretty fast. I got 4 combo meals and extra fries for me and my friends. The woman at the register was rude and patient even though there’s no line. So we cut our order short. When we got our food I fries and burgers were all cold. Yet the buns were burned. I asked the cashier for four sweet-and-sour sauces. I was told I could only get two for free. WTF! It would be one thing if I had only gotten one meal and was trying to freeload. But I clearly wasn’t. Needless to say I paid extra. I probably will not be coming back to this location again.

Disgusting and they make you drive drunk because they won’t let you walk through the drive through like most other fast good joints. AVOIDDDDYOUFATPEOPLE

First time for me at this location and a first time at McD’s in many years! Wife had a urge for some chicken nuggets and apple pie so off we went to McD’s! The guy at the drive thru forgot our apple pie order but thankfully realized that before we driver off, so +1 for that. But, both the nuggets and apple pie were cold and so –1 for that. But hey, it’s McDonald’s!

This is the 4th time I’ve gone to this McDonald’s and the 4th time they’ve gotten something wrong. I love McDonald’s especially breakfast but this place is actually pathetic. Today they actually left out an entire meal item from my order. This is the last time I ever go there considering at this point I’m just throwing my money away. Please consider some change to your staffs carelessness glebe rd McDonald’s, it’s atrocious.

Worst McDonald’s EVER! My Iced coffee was so gross and the sandwiches where hard around the edges, probably from the microwave. Never going back here.

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Because of its close vicinity to my house, I find myself going here on occasion. The employees here are rude and most of then can’t speak any english. On my past 2 visits here I got stale, hard bread on my McChicken. The woman in the drive thru is the worst! She was extremely rude and nasty. Even after I specifically asked for no ketchup or mustard on my burger, I got ketchup and mustard. They seem to screw up the order every time I go here. I am surprised that this McDonalds stays in business. My next fast food outing will be anywhere but here.

I’m McDonalds’ biggest fan pretty much, and it is hard for the place to screw up with me with their delicious food and usually very efficient and friendly service. This McDonalds, sadly, failed to fill me with joy like the restaurant usually does. Why? For the same reasons listed by other reviewers below. There was barely anyone else in there but the staff was painfully slow and didn’t seem much interested in helping customers but rather in chatting and giggling behind the counter. This is the opposite of what I usually encounter at McDonald’s. And also, absolutely zero effort was made to mix the ingredients into the McFlurry. All the oreo crumbles were piled on top and not mixed at all, so when I tried to pull out the stirry thing to mix it, it pulled a bunch of the crumbles out and they went flying away on the wind or scattered on the ground. Usually the staff«swirls» it a couple times so the ingredients are somewhat mixed in, but the staff here couldn’t be bothered. This was a disappointment. This goes from a one-star to a two-star because there is a 24-hour drive thru. That is the one redeeming factor here.

I normally pass this McDonald’s, on the way to work every morning and this particular morning I decided to stop by the drive thru since a McMuffin sounded good. To my surprise they had a deal on the menu for 2 McMuffins for $ 3. Score! On the very same ad in the bottom left corner it advertised«make it a meal!» and in large point in the bottom right corner was a price of $ 6. Double score! Don’t mind if I do. So the woman comes on and asks what I want, in her obviously broken English, and I tell her I would like the two McMuffin meal for $ 6. She tells me they don’t have that. I explain to her it is on her menu. Then she tries to tell me I can only get two McMuffins for $ 3. I tel her the menu says I can make it a meal and she tries to put in an order for two single McMuffin meals. After explaining to her again that this is on her menu and someone should come out and look she tells me to hang on. When she comes back on, she again tells me it is not an option. When I asked her if there was anyone working that actually knew what they were advertising, her memory was finally jogged to remember that was a menu option. Then finally, after getting to the window and her wasting ten minutes of my morning, she pulls a crummy attitude with me when I pay. Snatching my card for payment and roughly handing me my food all while scowling at me and not bothering to apologize for her mistake of not knowing her own job. To further annoy me, the entire time I was at the window, her and her manager continued to speak only in Spanish. I guess you can’t expect service to be at full potential if management does not have any professionalism either. I doubt I will be visiting this McDonald’s again.

Go here if you want your iced tea to taste nasty. The burgers here are normal, the fries are delicious(but too salty) compared to other McDonald’s(I hate when you get soggy fries), and the ice cream cones are always too icy. Why is this? I always get unsweetened iced tea and I avoid this McDonald’s because every time I try and give the tea another shot(which has been 5 or 6 times) I am always disappointed and annoyed. I go here for fries and go to other local McDonald’s franchises for iced tea and burgers. Every McDonald’s seems to have their good and bad points. The service here is the same as every other local McDonald’s(yes, I will repeat my order 3 times. Yes, you are confused. Yes, you FORGOT my straw and the lid wasn’t fully on my drink so everything spilled). Service at every single McDonald’s in the DC area is horrendous. It is as expected.

I typically don’t eat very often at fast food restaurants, much less write a review on them. However, this mickey d’s is very close to my apartment AND24 hour. The rare moment has to be noted. What we ordered: A crispy honeymustard snack wrap, a grilled ranch snack wrap, fish-o-filet sandwich, big mac #1 combo. What we got: two grilled ranch and honey mustard snack wrap, fish o’ filet sandwich, big mac #1 combo. Why the dissatisfaction? I don’t mind the incorrect 2nd grilled chicken snack wrap, but it was my first time eating a fish-o-filet sandwich in YEARS. ever since I was 10 years old or younger. My grandparents have gotten it more recently however because that is the only thing they would get if we have a rare moment to get this. The fish typically looks much bigger, filling and portioned well. This one was extremely tiny, smaller than the buns and the fish was HARD. crisped too hard. I was extremely dissatisfied. The big mac tasted fabulous as usual, but the FRENCHFRIES. I typically love french fries as heart-clogging as they are, for their light saltiness and HOT crispy freshness. These were lukewarm(UGH, hate lukewarm, might as well give me cold fries) and soggy and mushy. Good thing I don’t eat mickey d’s/fast food often, but I was extremely disappointed on my rare night of splurging!!! 24 hour diners next time???

Good Angus Burger… but the service and the staff? No good! After doing errands this afternoon, I was having a McDonald’s craving, and just HADTOHAVEIT. RIGHTAWAY. This Mickey D’s is just a few blocks away, so I swung through the drive-thru on the way home. I figured I would try the Angus burger for the first time(pretty good) and also ordered some fries. Only two items, should be easy to get both in the bag. I should have checked before I drove away. Got home, and was so happy to sink into the chair with my bag of 3,000 calories and 4 days of saturated fat. However, only the burger was in the bag. I could have just said to myself«self, you really don’t need the fries» and just forgotten about it, but I wanted them, so I walked over to McDonald’s, explained that they forgot my fries, and after some grouchy lady scowled at me, she handed me a bag of fries. The were COLD and not really salted. I should have just stayed at home.

I’m sitting at my computer, watching The Biggest Loser, eating bacon, about to write a review of McDonald’s. There are so many things wrong with this picture that I don’t even know where to begin. So, instead, I’ll just give a shrug of my shoulders and reflect on this moment tomorrow. Or maybe the next day. Or maybe never again. Let me tell you something about this McDonald’s … yes, it is very clean inside. It looks nice and the staff here are efficient. Cool. That’s if you go inside. If you pull up to the drive through late at night(this one is 24 hours, by the way), after you’ve had a rousing night at … oh, anywhere really … you might have the following experience: Pull up, place order. The voice says, «Cash or Credit?» You say, «Credit.» Cause really, who carries cash around with them anymore? Oh yeah, no one. Then the voice says, «That will be $ – , pull up to the second window.» You pull up to the second window and the man with the head set slides the glass open and repeats the amount as he’s about to hand you your late night bag of guilt. You start to hand him your card. He retracts the bag slightly, holding it just out of your grasp. «Cash only.» You look confused. «What? Why is it cash only.» He repeats, «Cash only.» Because clearly you become incapable of understanding what ‘cash only’ means once the clock has struck midnight. «Wait, I don’t understand,» you say. «Why is it cash only?» He then pulls the bag back through the open pane, slides the glass closed, and turns his back on you. Literally. He turns around and leaves you at the window with nothing else to say, except, ‘WHY?‘ At this McDonald’s you are not supposed to ask ‘why’. You are not supposed to question why a seemingly routine transaction suddenly left you in your car with your window rolled down and mouth open, but yet with no food; a glass pane having been shut on you with no explanation or cause. You still have so many questions. If it was cash only, why did he ask if the payment would be cash or credit? If it was cash only, why wasn’t this made known at the beginning? Why… why…why?! I never did find out the answers to those questions. Maybe its a good thing I went home empty handed. Then again, I really wanted those unsalted fries made to order.

This McDonalds was remodeled recently. It is the nicest one in the immediate area. It is convenient for a quick food pit stop. The Angus burgers are tasty if a bit sterile.

Last night after a raucous evening of lively kick ass Celtic Rock @ The Birchmere(Gaelic Storm in concert), in which much ale and a bit of Irish whiskey was consumed — there was a definite need for the triple threat to squash hunger initiated by alcohol: protein, fat, and salt. Enter McDonald’s. I’ve never eaten lunch or dinner at this Mickey D’s, although I’ve been here many times in the past for breakfast to go and restroom breaks — it’s a good pitstop on the way in to DC in the morning during rush hour when you’ve been sitting in traffic way to long and have drank a lot of coffee! Anyhoo, it was about 10:40 pm — I ordered the #3 Value Meal — a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, regular fries, and a medium Diet Coke. I got the food to go via the Drive Thru. Started immediately wolfing the food down as I was driving down the road — the burger was dry and room temperature — as if it had been sitting around for awhile. Only the fries were good — hot, crispy, lightly salty fries. Totally unsatisfying, if I am gonna have greasy, caloric-laden fast food, I need it to be hot, juicy — and whatever attributes that food — properly prepared — should have.
