After reading the reviews, wanted to order a dozen tamales for the holidays. Walked in and stood in line at the counter. After two customers in front of me had paid, the lady at the counter walked away not acknowledging my presence. Stood there while a male and female were bagging food items, once again not acknowledging my presence. They walked away. One of the cooks stood and stared at me saying nothing. Needless to say I ended up walking away not having placed my order. They were definitely not busy enough not to have given me the common courtesy of acknowledging my presence. I will not be back and would encourage others to stay away as well.

Great local Mexican Food Joint! It’s authentic, and it’s good! ‘Nough said! :-) I usually have fajita tacos when I come in and they are always great! Worth a visit. It’ll become a favorite.

Every single Sunday we go here! It can’t be beat for real homemade Mexican food. We love the servers Norma and Sylvia! They make us feel at home and don’t mind our crazy kiddos. The weekend specials are amazing. Migas are yummy and just spicy enough. The tacos are a must for most of my family. They order different ones and combinations each time. We really wish they had different chips but… If that is our only complaint we will suck it up!!!

We stopped in Dallas to visit friends and my husband had to find out if his friend still frequented«that breakfast taco place». Apparently when he worked in Dallas years ago, they would get breakfast tacos from this place every morning — although it was in a different location back then. We met for breakfast and I can honestly say that I would stop in a couple times a week if I lived locally. The breakfast tacos were awesome! I had two — an egg, sausage, and cheese and an egg, potato and cheese — accompanied with some fresh tortilla chips and salsa. The tacos were freshly made, flavorful and just the right size. Plus, at around $ 2.00 each, you can’t go wrong.

Just left Paula’s for the first time. I drove all the way from grand prairie to try to find a breakfast burrito. I just moved to the area and was feeling homesick from my morning breakfast burrito ritual. I came in and the place was empty and I was able to get in and out. Anyways I ordered two breakfast«tacos» and wanted some chips and salsa as well. Everything came out to be $ 9.00! Wouldn’t mind that but the tacos were so small! I ended up having to give my kids both tacos instead of just sharing one like we’re used to. The taco itself was okay. Nothing to rave about. But it was edible and good. No, everything is not made fresh the time you order it like I’m used to. It’s all precooked except the egg. The taco isn’t even the size of a fork it’s like a preemie taco. And for 9 bucks I was just expecting a little more. The chips were not cooked fresh. They were old hard and stale. Stuck to your teeth when eating and they were crumbled. I could pass on the seasoning they are drenched in too. The salsa was blah and nothing special at all but has nice little kick to it. Back at home for the price I paid here I could get 3 full sized burritos stuffed with delicious and truly AUTHENTIC flavorful food made FRESH to order and I promise you could barely eat one. I love to support family owned businesses because my family has our own restaurant but its just not worth it all that for me to make that drive across town for. I probably won’t be back just because besides being too pricey it’s just not all that. I know it’s hard to find good food in dfw so to some this is good but to a foodie like myself it’s only okay.

This place was wonderful. Everything was good. The Carnitas taco and the gisuada tacos was the best. Good prices too.

This place is terrible!!! The chips were stale, the beans weren’t even original(came from a can), and to top it of we saw a mouse pass by us which grossed me out and made us lose our appetite. I told the waiter and he was running around trying to catch it but couldn’t. There was no apology and we were still going to get charged for not eating our food. I spoke with the manager and he didn’t charge us afterwards. They knew better or else I would have reported this place.

Came here to eat some breakfast while my car was fixed next door. Ordered the breakfast tacos. House made tortillas, chorizo, eggs, potato, and cheese. They were delicious and inexpensive. Will be my «go-to» for breakfast tacos from now on! Staff was friendly and the food arrived quickly. Salsa was the perfect amount of spicy and the chips were thin and crispy and lightly salted and seasoned. Great little Mexican diner!

I love this place. The salsa is spicy and flavorful, the restaurant is clean, and there is a waitress here who can remember my order even when I haven’t been by in several months. Paula’s has my favorite breakfast tacos. Hot, fresh, soft torillas and crispy, but not overcooked, bacon.
