We dont visit this Starbucks often, primarily because the parking lot is very challenging. It is totally undersized for the three businesses(Starbucks, Trader Joes, and Walgreens) and entering and exiting the lot is dangerous — there should have been a traffic light put in a long time ago. Street parking is available but not staightforward. As far as the baristas go though. fantastic. Friendly, efficient, and competent. Who could ask for more!

This Starbucks has excellent service! Everyone is so approachable and knowledgeable about their coffee. Love how they work as a team! Jacob really knows his brews and is wonderful! Thank you all! I love my coffee :-)

There are several Starbucks in the area I travel this one is by far the worst managed. The staff is friendly with each other so much so that you may find yourself waiting to order while the group shares funny stories among themselves. The last time I was there(and it will be my last) the manager on duty was doing something in the safe bent down behind the register while carrying on a lengthy conversation with a customer she must have known, completely oblivious that there were other customers waiting to order. I’m not sure if it just my bad luck at this location but most times I come here they either don’t have the coffee I want or its lukewarm. Add it all up service and the coffee are Luke warm.

Definitely a Starbucks-never-to-be-patronized for my household. On our way out to Western Mass, my guy and I stopped here for some sandwiches and coffee. It was a bit busy when we got there, but people were mostly waiting for their orders, not in line to order, so we got up to the counter quickly. I ordered a cappuccino and the sausage/cheddar sandwich, paid and stepped aside. My boyfriend ordered an iced coffee and the slow roasted ham sandwich. A few minutes later, my boyfriend was told they were out of the ham sandwich. He switched to the same sausage/cheddar sandwich I had ordered. We waited and waited as sandwiches were made and handed off to other people. My boyfriend was once again called over and told they were now also out of sausage/cheddar sandwiches. He switched his order YET again. After another 10 minutes, during which we saw people pick up sandwiches and leave, I asked the barista about our orders. She looked around and said they gave our sandwiches to other people by accident, and since the sausage/cheddar sandwiches were all out, we had to put in a different order AGAIN. Finally, after a solid half hour, we finally got our sandwiches(second and third choices, respectively). I have seen busier stores managed way more efficiently. For starters, check your inventory before people order. Secondly, write customer’s names on the orders. I know a lot of Starbucks don’t do this anymore, but it’s the best way to keep everyone’s orders going to the right person, especially when orders are similar. Another idea would be to simply order more inventory. There is no reason why a Starbucks should run out of three types of sandwiches on a Sunday morning, before 10am.

Nice staff and convenient location. I never have a problem parking on Mass Ave in the mornings. Good coffee and reasonable selection of food. However they are slow and morning queues are one step short of disaster. In Arlington center same or bigger queue is dealt with swiftly and smoothly. Hate to say it but manager is really lacking problem solving ability.

This Starbucks is horrible regarding customer service. The woman waiting on me even said she was deaf for not hearing my request despite a 3 minute conversation just minutes prior! Manager is has no skills, asked me what should I do when I asked about server ignoring me. Location in east Arlington is great! Awesome staff

Starbucks coffee should be standard in all Starbucks locations but this place has poor parking, staff is so so if they don’t have attitudes– don’t know what clover machine is and yes, they don’t have it but attitude is a steady main stream. Go somewhere else.

I have been buying my usual bold coffee, classic sausage and cheese sandwich and biscotti for many years. Since I go in the morning, there is no problem with parking and there is on street parking should the lot become overcrowded. I have been in Starbucks across the country and being a neighbourhood gathering place is a characteristic that is special to me. I love this Starbucks because it exemplifies that quality of friendliness and attention on the part of the staff and manager; however it is busy and some people are in a rush to get to work. There is the noise of friendliness that fills the place as people come in and get their coffee and converse with others. It is always a special treat in the morning to go and have breakfast and read my paper.

Normally, this place is a great place to stop for coffee, despite the weird parking lot shared with Trader Joe’s and Walgreens. I’ve never had any serious problem with them. I used to work in the area and stopped there frequently. I loved the super-friendly, smart and capable staff(except the manager, she’s a little rude), but they’ve made some changes recently, and in case they read this, I’d like to comment on my last visit. It was mid-afternoon on a Thursday or something, not a typical busy time. And, it wasn’t busy. There was a group of 3 people in front of me who seemed to be from out-of-town, and possibly had never been to a Starbucks before. Fine. My ex-boyfriend always seemed that way in a Starbucks. In this particular store, there are not a lot of places you can go if you just want to get your drink when it’s done and leave. So, these three people and I, and a few others who’d come after me, were waiting for our drinks. I heard the barista say, not even trying to be under her breath I think, «The longer you stare, the slower I go.» Seriously? Complain about the customers when they’re NOTRIGHTINFRONTOFYOU. I miss the other staff.

I like Starbucks in general — have been to some in London and Seoul and Heidelberg and Mannheim as well as many in the Boston area — and none compare to this one. The friendliness of the staff is wonderful, they know their regulars(like me!), and they make great lattes. Love this place.

I have been using this Starbucks as my office of sorts for several weeks now. I have spent countless hours here. The service is generally okay, but rarely better. Not in the sense of their efficiency but just in their general demeanor. However, this trip the employees were rude. I questioned whether my latte was indeed skinny after I saw the two baristas exchange several knowing«ha ha» kind of glances. After a half laugh and more awkward looks I was told it was. The glances and continued and now I am avoiding drinking my $ 5 latte. Not only do I not think its fat-free, it’s just not good. Of the dozens and dozens of time I have been here only once have the employees been friendly. Generally they barely smile and act as though my question of «How are you doing?» as a hassle to answer. Think I’ll be sticking with coffee from now on.

A decent Starbucks. Nice place to stop on the bike path. But parking is bad. It’s a total road-rage parking lot. Park on the street if you can find a spot. Also, they need to train their staff a little better. I went to order a decaf one day, and this was their reply: «Sorry, we’re out of decaf.» … uh… WTF? … This is a coffee shop. Make some decaf!

This is my favorite Starbucks in MA! The staff is very friendly and above all, competent baristas. Nothing upsets me more than paying $ 5 plus dollars for a coffee that comes out tasting like dirty water. I know every location is supposed to remake your drink if it isn’t right, but if they aren’t any good at making the coffee, why bother with a 2nd attempt? Anyway… back to this location. Everyone at the Arlington store seems to be talented in the coffee brewing department. The store is clean and comfortable. Usually easy to get a spot on the side street, too.

I come here to catch a cab, we play tag. I see four taxis outside, then go in for my frapachinno, just to turn around and see they are all gone. I call they come while I am back in line, then I get scooped by the old lady with a cane. But, back to the coffee, YUM. Perfect patio area, clean bathroom, friendly baristas.

I like this Starbucks. I am a Starbucks fan in general, if I am going to pay for coffee it will be an Americano from the ‘bucks and not the urine concoction Dunkin DOnuts tries to pass off as coffee. This Starbucks has a lot going for it. It’s right off the bike path, it’s next to Trader Joe’s, and it has a nice patio with outdoor seating and a parking lot. It also serves the yummy BREAKFASTSANDWICHES. The spinach, feta, and egg breakfast wrap on a low carb wheat wrap is delicious. I primarily drop in after long rides and really appreciate the perpetually clean bathroom and the great air conditioning. The patio is a great place to relax and recount your ride with a cold drink and a breakfast sandwich. LOVE.

Nice patio area, clean bathroom, friendly baristas. Like Heather said, free books. That alone offsets the $ 6.62 I spend here everytime. …I make sure to run the hot water exxxxxxxtra long.
