The worst contractor experience: (Look at the photos and you be the judge)
Sun Painting did not done the work they guaranteed is our contract as can be seen in the attached photos. They did not completely Pressure wash or scrap old paint from our house, they did not paint the windows, they did not replace the siding panels on the chimney chase, they did not Caulk joints and seams on home including windows to brick.
They did not follow the paint manufactures paint specifications for adequate paint dry times and coverage.
They refused to complete the work, although after much debate and needless heartache they reluctantly admitted the job was incomplete. I remained extremely cordial in all the emails and conversations trying to get them to honor the contract but they outright refused to honor the contract.
As soon as I posted a review, with photos of what they did to our house here on Angie’s List, Sun Painting Texas immediately called me asking me to take down the review. That’s what it took to get them to call me back.
One of the excuses I was given for the job not being complete was the weather was bad, yet as can be see here on Angie’s List they have over 3 posting of outside paint jobs they completed since January 18^th — over two and a half months…
Instead of doing a professional job, guaranteeing their work and completing the job as per our contract, they told Angie’s List they’d give back half of the money they took from us. Money they should not have charged our credit card as they never completed the job per the contract — see attached photo of incomplete work.
So we give Sun Painting Texas an F.
