In about a years time, I have had about three issues with my rent. Two that were easily fixed by showing my receipt that I had paid, but not before coming home to a nice ol eviction paper slapped on my front door for everyone to see. The third was them just over charging me, so when I went on to ask about it, they said it was a computer mistake, and my account would be credited the extra money, but of course the next month I had to bring it up again & remind them that they said my account would be credited.
If you’re planning on moving out, keep your copy of the 60 day notice. When my new apartment complex that I was applying to contacted them, the office stated that they had never received my notice, which would have hindered my chance of moving in. Luckily, I kept my signed copy.
