Great little place in a nondescript strip mall. I have visited the restaurant before and found the orange chicken to be well done, with out too much breading nor cooked too hard. The lo mein noodles are not mushy, but well seasoned and great texture. Also really liked the shrimp fried rice. All-in-all a great little place, with good food and good portions… my only issue is that they have seemingly changed the hours of operation and not updated them, because I have visited several times during the posted hours and they have been closed. In short, a good value for good food.

The restaurant hours said 12 but they didn’t open until more like 12:30. We ordered the combination fried rice and Schezuan beef and shrimp. The rice was delicious and a large portion. Lots of protein in there unlike some other places that skimp on the meat. The beef and shrimp dish was a HUGE disappointment. Only 4 shrimp, very little beef, and celery. Lots and lots and lots of celery. In fact this dish should be renamed«the everything but beef and shrimp plate». Unless you’re into celery then it could be «Celery Nirvana». At any rate I digress. What little there was of the dish’s namesake was cooked decently enough. However, I’d recommend to the cook that removing the tails from shrimp is pretty standard in a dish like that and enhances customer experience. Will I try it again? Maybe.

A friend of mine mentioned this place and how good there food was. I thought it was meh at best. Nothing to be blown away over. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t anything to brag about either in my opinion. Would I eat here again? Yes, but I have another place I prefer just down the road in both directions that I think are better. The guy who served us at the counter was really nice and considerate. I will say I did have to wait about ten or more minutes because there were so many take-out orders. I will try this place again, you never know. Sometimes eating at a restaurant can be hit or miss.

Wow great experience… although I live far from the restaurant, was in Arlington on business and heard it was a great place to grab a quick bite. So figured I would give it a go… was not disappointed! Walked in and the service was friendly and prompt, asked if there are any recommendations as far as a more popular dish. Was recommended quite a few but went with the Beef Flat Noodles. Asked for it to go but decided to eat it there while it was nice and piping hot… first bite was amazing! This was a first for me… was eager to take that first bite and didn’t use any soy sauce, or any extra sauce. It was perfect as-is…needless to say I finished off to my stomach’s content. There was still half left over. In wrapping up, the food is fresh and the staff working there is friendly and very helpful. If you are ever in the area its well worth it. Just wish there was something similar closer to me!

There was one confusing night where my fiancé stopped by here and it was closed, and he looked up the CLOSED Unilocal profile. I was devastated, as we had just moved to the area and we hadn’t found our go-to Chinese take-out. Well I’m glad that they are NOT closed! The staff was so friendly and even suggested things that they would order themselves. I had the China Town Special. It was delicious! And the sweet and sour sauce was on point. That’s something I’m really picky about. The nice guy who placed my order took the time to explain how they prepare everything right when you order, they don’t believe in warming trays, and how the Hong Kong native head chef has been in the business for 15 years! 4 stars for now, but I will be back to try the beef flat noodles!

Impressive food, impressive friendly service. Yummy Express has some of the best carry out Chinese I’ve had. Walking in at ONEMINUTE before closing time, they were patient and allowed me to place a complicated order. Now that’s service! Prices are excellent! They even have Mexican coke — yum!

I just tried this tonight for the first time since the new ownership. It definitely is different now. To be honest, I preferred the food before. My husband picked up the food this time so I didn’t meet any of the new employees but the man that always helped me before, I believe he owned it, was very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him so I will miss him. I will give this place another try before writing them off and update my review if my opinion changes.

Just stopped by here for their new grand opening. Great to see Chinese owners making amazing food with care. I had the daily special today which was pork belly on a bun or with rice. I had it with the bun and it was melt-in-your-mouth awesome! I really enjoyed a side of pickled vegetables they gave me. It had a great kick of spice and the flavor was great! Highly recommended to try this place out for take-away or delivery!
